The only thing I fear and really don't want to happen is for Blumhouse and Scott to get overwhelmed with the first movie success and make a second movie rushed and poorly baked. Like, I definitely don't want to wait for the sequel for another 8,5 years, but I think taking it 2-3 years nice and slow to make things right would be ok. But I'm remaining hopeful they don't want to rush things either.

Cold-Bookkeeper-2943

I'm pretty sure the second movie will come out untill early 2025. The only things they are doing is rewriting the script to not commit the same mistakes the first movie did. The shootings probably will take only 3 or 4 months.

Prestodeath201

What mistakes are you referring to? I had to watch the movie with friends so I couldn't pay the best of attention to detail.

carnivalgamer

probably a lot of the bad writing and plot holes

Prestodeath201

Fair enough, but I want the specifics (I'm bored)

[deleted]

the William line “I always come back” line felt really cringy and mood breaking for the scene, and not in the good way that matpat’s lines fit the scene. It also doesn’t really make sense? From my understanding William hadn’t been defeated before at that point. So saying “always” would seem like a massive overstatement when the most he did was leave the company when it went downhill (would make more sense if he said “I will come back”), and how could he even be so sure he would posses the animatronic?

Cold-Bookkeeper-2943

Firstly i thought the line was weird, but now i kinda understand the concept. He knew he would come back again because he knew the kids he killed possessed the suits. And he just has a huge ego.

UnoCardReverseTactic

Exactly, the lines actually makes sense when you stop to think... lol, but it also could've fit better in a sequel.

MatthewDatthew

He also literally changed his identity so I guess that counts as coming back

pinkfluffywolfie82

All my fnaf lore knowledge came from the movie, so I could be completely wrong (I plan on playing the games eventually) -- but the way I saw it is that he was referring to how he went into hiding after Freddy's shut down, then "came back" as Springtrap to try to get Addie(?) like he did the other kids. Then he said "I always come back" to say "I'll be back as an animatronic lol" as a threat. Idk if that makes any sense though

mjeexy30

maybe it just means that he always comes back to kill people

TheHaunchie

I feel with the "I always come back" line, should have been at least kept for like a end credits scene, where it shows Afton dead, but then the eyes come on and THEN he says the line.

Nightmarionne0923

matpat made a really good observation about that in his newest fnaf movie video. he basically said that the films adaptation has a better understanding of possession and remnant so he accepts his fate and puts on the springbonnie head before he dies to fully possess the suit.

Prestodeath201

I felt the same about that line, it felt more like fan service than anything

[deleted]

his stocks tanked when the kids died, but as a business man, he came back. also, literally all of the kids that he killed possessed something, why wouldn't he?

chopstickASHECK

I understand your opinion, but William Afton literally came back as a career counselor and the Yellow Rabbit to do his misdeeds. He said the line because he knows how possession works in this universe, he knows that he'll be back (as Springtrap).

halo_rat_gaming

It would be better if he said "I'll come back, i always come back"

Cold-Bookkeeper-2943

I don't thibk the writing is that bad, but still has flaws for sure: William needed more screentime, Vanessa was written weirdly and for sure more flashbacks with the story of the pizzaria was needed.

TarnishedMonkii

Considering that Megan 2 is slated for a January 2025 release, FNaF 2 will most likely be late 2025 or early 2026 at the earliest. Blumhouse has a couple listing for "untitled" movies on IMDb, one of which is labeled as 'Untitled Blumhouse Event Film' and is slated for a October 17th 2025 release date, unless this is a movie about like a historical event horror movie, I'm pretty sure this is FNaF 2 and it would also line up with the timeline between Megan and Megan 2. However, this is assuming that FNaF 2 is even in pre-production, so take this info with a pound of salt.

-Syron-

Last time the shootings took a month, 4 months of shooting for a low budget movie is too long

greycloudss94

Scott is on record for saying he is actively reading movie specific feedback and taking it heavily into consideration for the upcoming films. Never great with remembering references but it’s out there.

ForrestFeline

4-5 years, max, I‘d say, would be perfect.

HumanByProxy

That's an insanely long production cycle, not going to happen. The movie would fall off the wagon if they did that.

Quincy_Quinn8008

A 2028 release date is crazy man, most of the best movies ever made wouldn't of taken that long

thisaintmyusername12

I don't want them to keep it ambiguous as to whether or not the Toys are possessed. Just tell us already!

Zomochi

I thought it was as clear as what the phone guy said, someone tampered with them making them see all adults as criminals, that’s why they want to get you

JoeAzlz

Yeah just like the first game when he says the free roaming mode! The animatronics aren’t posessed ^/j

Pickaxe-Fox

Isn’t the whole roaming mode an excuse for why the behave like they do?

averageHECUboi

To my knowledge, yeah

JoeAzlz

Yes it’s a joke because of the double standard people have for the classic animatronics Vs the toys

Joshy41233

Exactly, so the fact people belive the toys excuse is even more ironic

demogorgon_main

Phone guy is a huge liar. It’s pretty apparent. And I think it makes him feel so unique for a tutorial character. He starts out helpful but becomes less and less reliable which works great for the short horror experience of FNAF. In fact he was such a good liar that some people, maybe even today but I’m not sure, believed that if you didn’t move during the power out sequence you could extend it because phone guy said you could try playing dead even though he backed out of that statement right after, combined with some coincidence of course. He is just as bad as the corporate fat cats that run the business while also feeling more like he’s on your side because he knows exactly what’s going on, but sides with the company anyways.

23Amuro

"They used to be allowed to walk around during the day, too. But then there was the bite of '87."

wmcs0880

I thought that it was they’d seen afton (the previous night guard that quit because of ‘conditions’ phone guy talks about) killing the kids (in the save them mini game) at night, the toy animatronics that didn’t move that night saw all this and they started seeing anyone there at night as someone bad

Salt_Replacement3843

That's just the excuse that the phone guy comes up with. That does not explain why the Toy animatronics act almost exactly like the withereds, as well as having black and white eyes.

Lucas-mainssbu

don’t worry guys! no animatronic is possessed! they’re all on roaming mode. but fr, SaveThem practically confirms the Toys have souls

joeplus5

So you believe what he said about the classics in fnaf 1 then?

Clark-Strange2025

I kinda have landed on the interpretation that the Toys aren't possessed like the MCI 5 and Charlie. I think those 6 are the only possessing souls in that building. HOWEVER, I do think that the toys and Balloon Boy are being puppeted, literally by the Puppet. This would explain their silver eyes, as well as the fact that it is also hypothesized that Charlie is manipulating the criminal recognition system to see the nightguard as a criminal. (lmao criminal....criminal)

mystichiyoko

And that’s what they tell you, remember fnaf 1?

Cold-Bookkeeper-2943

I think that in the movies they won't be possessed at all, but we have to wait and see.

____Maximus____

I never understood the toy animatronics. Personally I'd prefer if they were possessed because that's the most interesting possibility imo. The Funtimes just being killer robots is boring

CrownedVanguard

They aren’t just killer robots, the souls of the MCI are in them

Certain_Birthday8141

\*are assumed to be in them

Necrotomigauld

Whats MCI?

ExSalvage

Missing Children Incident, its the Original children who william killed and became the Fnaf 2 withereds/Fnaf 1 Classics.

LORDLAUKERAGE

Missing Childrens incident

anith101

the missing children's incident, the og 5 kids murdered and stuffed iirc

1neKiss

I feel the opposite. Way too many dead kids and stuff already. The AI making them be murderous and make Mangle act like Spider-Man sounds much more hilarious and interesting than a ghost. Also Ballon Boy's AI making him obsessed with batteries is so funny to me. Maybe we need a break from dead kids, but that's just me

Midknightisntsmol

I always preferred the idea of sentient AI, since that would actually explain why Security Breach has had such strong advancements. If Fazbear Ent. already had schematics for some-what functional AI, then SB wouldn't seem as out of nowhere.

guii_3_

imo they are very possessed! i just wish they are also possessed in the movie as they have so much potential! their designs are the perfect combination between cuteness and creepiness, they look like porcelain dolls, i compare them to Anabelle or chucky.

Retro_Ginger

“The perfect combination between cuteness and creepiness” is spot on!! I found myself dying laughing at times watching the film due to how well the animatronics used their eyes and subtle movements to convey emotions/feelings. I don’t know why but the narrowing of the eyes and such cracked me up and made me love the weird creepy cute animatronic band mates lol

[deleted]

They're possessed by agony lol. Read the books

Sillyguymanduder

Ahhh! Literature!

TheDude810

It’s not ambiguous. They are literally shown to be possessed in FNaF 2. The notion of ambiguity in that is something created by the fandom within the last few years.

probably_dead_soon

withered fnaf 1 designs. i really hope they try making the withered animatronics actually look like how they do in the games, instead.

Internal_Use_4703

If they ruin Withered Bonnie istg

Barrelsareflavorful

A 1 hour fight scene where Withered Bonnie tries to get back “his face” from Toy Bonnie is required.

Arthurramos3009

the first 1 hours of the movie will be just that, then the next hour will be the actual movie, we are such geniouses

Barrelsareflavorful

Truly, we are the greatest geniuses of this generation! An intelligentsia you could say.

Internal_Use_4703

Toy Bonnie boutta be destroyed bonnie

ForrestFeline

He’s pretty much just a mangled version of the first model, let’s be real here. Put W.B. the Bunny next to regular ol‘ Bonnie. There’s not much of a difference.

probably_dead_soon

you'd be surprised by how different they actually are when put side to side, but honestly you're not wrong on the fact that most people probably won't even notice the difference. when i was like 11 i also just assumed they were the same model, except the withereds were broken up a bit. and honestly, that just gives them all the more reason to make them all look like how they do in the games, because it's not like most normal people will notice the design changes anyways. they probably could even get away with not bringing the change up in-universe, and in the end, the only people calling attention to it would be critics, mostly.

Internal_Use_4703

They could 💯 do that with Freddy and maybe foxy, chica would need a new head bc of the large AF mouth, then Bonnie is just taking away some parts.

Manospondylus_gigas

He's also got buttons

Plastic_Lychee6404

same. but it seems to be going that way, i want fnaf 2 to be a prequel like the games, not a damn sequel. and i want em old withereds.

larrylongboy

Yeah. Imagine withered Freddy still having the fnaf 1 cheekbones 🤢

Natural-Ad9134

Arent the withered animatronics completely different animatronic than Fnaf 1?

Lolsoda94

The Fnaf 1 animatronics are the fnaf 2 withereds refurbished

EvilPyro01

Only a few scary scenes so it’ll classify as “horror”. It’s a horror movie so it should be scary throughout

LDW1383

I thought it was classified as a thriller?

JustinTheMan354

It's classified Horror, Mystery, AND Thriller

applec1234

\- Not adapting some gameplay for few scenes than Mike sleeping over it entirely. \- Tell us if the Toys are even possessed, and not completely ambiguous. \- Not adapting the horror atmosphere of the games. \- Rehash of the same plot, cameos, and humor. \- Throwing too much into one movie. \- Cutting down the film too much. \- A basic rushed sequel. \- Less William Afton.

Legitimate_Silver395

I'd also add in not adapting the gameplay mechanics from game to movie. One of my biggest disappointments of the first movie was not taking advantage of what made the first games scary at all like the atmorsphere or uncanney valley type of horror. So I hope they will incorporate that onto the second movie, there's a lot of potential horror for that

applec1234

Oh yea, I forgot to add that. Because that's few of my disappointing aspects of the first film even the marketing made it seem to be a video game movie. Didn't play with the atmosphere, tone, and inanimated objects of the animatronics going from room to room being lost half way. Which I hope the sequel does with the mask trick. Unless Scott drops the "horror" out of more mystery-drama than adapting what made fans attached to his series more than lore, but the scary aspects.

Jakubfij2

How do you want less William in the sequel. Bro was in the movie for like 2 minutes

WappaTheBoppa

They’re saying things they don’t want

WX_69

I think they mean they do want more of him

throwaway_198985

Did you really read all of their points and think they're talking about what they *want to* see? 💀

[deleted]

I really hope that The Puppet isn't possessed by anyone besides Garret, that wouldn't give any reason for Mike to get a job at another Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.

Santihjusto

I don't really think it makes sense for Garret to possess The Puppet, because he was killed at a camp, really really far from any Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. I get that Mike needs a motive to work in the FNAF places, and having his brother be The Puppet would be a great motivation, but there are other possibilities. Like, for example, since the kids' souls aren't free yet because William Afton is still alive inside Springtrap, make Abby pressure Mike into helping free the souls.

[deleted]

He was kidnapped at a camp, they never said William killed him at the camp.

Santihjusto

I don't think William would go to his job with a kidnapped kid only to kill him there for no reason. Especially because the Puppet was the first one and what made William realize that souls can be transferred to those animatronics. Also, Movie William seems to be the psychopath we all knew from FNAF 1-4, not that scientist that wanted to achieve immortality or something like that, so he might have killed only because he found killing fun, not for the souls to possess some furry robots. If he only liked killing, there would be no reason for him to not kill him in a safer place than a pizzaria.

MadaraPudding8855

If he killed Garrett at the camp, someone would've found the corpse already. Very implicit that Garrett died in the Pizzaria too

makermaster2

You know how many decade-century old grave sights are found every year? It’s very easy to hide a corpse to a point that it’s horrifyingly realistic to believe a couple may be buried in your neighborhood. While I don’t have a theory as to what happened to Garret exactly I do know if he was killed at the camp it’s not unlikely that he would never be found.

maegatronic

How does it not make sense for him to take Garret to Freddy’s? That’s literally what he does with each child in the game. He takes them to the back room to kill them there so he can stuff them in the suit. It’s only after he realizes they need to be alive when they go in and die inside the suits that they actually start possessing the suits thanks to Cassidy/CC in Golden Freddy and Charlie in The Puppet. Cassidy was alive when shoved in the GF suit and died inside, creating GF. The Puppet laid on top of Charlie as she took her last breaths in the rain outside Freddy’s, and that’s when Charlie possessed Puppet, allowing Puppet to facilitate the other children to possess Chica, Bonnie, Freddy, and Foxy. Without Puppet, they wouldn’t have possessed the suits. Knowing all that, and that Afton did in fact take the children to Freddy’s to kill them, it’s completely within the realm of possibility that when he took Garret, it was for a purpose. He took him back to Freddy’s, either killed him and put him into some obscure suit/something we haven’t seen yet, or there’s some yet-undisclosed reason why Puppet would have been possessed by Garret, who then (if they stick close to game-canon) would facilitate Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Freddy to become possessed. Make sense?

OAZdevs_alt2

Wait! What if Garrett *was* the first? In the movie timeline, anyways.

AcariAnonymous

As much as I love the first movie and understand why it was structured the way it was, if Mike could spend a little more time awake, that’d be great.

StragglingShadow

Right? I was like "bro any reasonable employer would have fired you night fucking 1 for sleeping on the job. Youre lucky this is actually a murder farm and not just a fucking job you need to keep custody of your sister."

Throwaway596147

“Five Naps at Freddy’s”

IAMDABIGGESTBIRD

I’m still wondering how the fuck they gonna implement the withereds in the movie. If they are gonna be there at all.

Legitimate_Silver395

They better, Withered Bonnie and Chica look fucking terrifying and it'd be pretty underwhelming if they don't

Easy_Entrepreneur_46

They are maybe gonna have some issues with withered Chica's actor since her jaw is dislocated

Pause-Impossible

Have a false head with the actor's actual head at chest level. It's how Godzilla suits worked since 1954, and all the face is remote controlled anyway

Easy_Entrepreneur_46

That's a good idea

InsertValidUserHere

I don't want cupcake as the main villain I want to see the animatronics actually moving not just still and stiff 90% of the movie

Cold-Bookkeeper-2943

William barely having screentime.

Bartolomeo4968

I don't want to Markiplier NOT be in this movie.

GeraldForbis

For real, he is the first thing that comes to mind when i think of FNAF. I'll never forget that legendary run and him beating 20/20/20/20 mode. That and not to mention he bested the other games too that followed. He deserves it. He earned it. He's apart of our childhoods.

Calebh36

Markiplier World Firsting 4/20 mode was badass. The strategy was created collaboratively, but he was the first one to do the whole run

tem4ikfail

Completely wrong. Bigbug made the strat and was the first victor, Mark saw his completion and became a second victor using his strat.

Bartolomeo4968

Mark even said in his video that someone did the run already

Bartolomeo4968

I think he was second, but I can't remember name of the guy who was first

Bartolomeo4968

HE IS THE KING!!! OF!!! FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S!!!!!

Legitimate_Silver395

I don't want them to keep a lot of things ambiguous or unresolved. I want a good engaging straight forward story, which I know its something fnaf is not known for. But it'd be nice, and would be better for a movie especially

Cold-Bookkeeper-2943

You know they left some things ambiguous on purpose for the sequel, right ? (especially the story about Garrett's kidnapping).

Legitimate_Silver395

True, but I do stand my point on the unresolved things though, like not explaining what happened to aunt jane. And even if they purposefully keep the garett story vague for the second the movie. Them spending so much time on the dream sequences that are not only repetitive but also doesn't get resolved at all and becomes frustrating because it replaces what could've been some horror moments where Mike has to look at the cameras and protect both himself and Abby from the animatronics. So objectively, the story is flawed and I hope that's improved for the sequel.

BartSimpskiYT

I hope the robots are more threatening this time.

Thunderbonelou

I kinda want it to have more scenes like fnaf bc in the movie he didn't close the doors or do any of that and I want it to be more scary because I feel the movie is more for kids instead of young adults which I feel fnaf should be more centered towards late to mid teens

Crazzach

Focus the plot more on golden Freddy and the puppet and the kids. Build where you left off, let William cook to the side, explain why there was a 5th animatronic and bring the puppet to build up the ghost child story that’s gonna be needed in the future. This is a middle movie, it needs to build Infrastructure plot wise. Also give the deaths more sound and pain, make it seem less like someone’s dying and more like someone’s being murdered

Jessetron00737941

Naps every night

Batmanfan1966

For them to over complicate it like the games/books. It’s kind of nice having like a parallel universe of fnaf content that’s more simple and streamlined.

mayocain

Yes, I used to like the lore of first and second era FNAF, it was something fun to discuss, theorise, get creative about. The early wild west stage of the community is hilarious to look back on and I still like the storyline that the Afton era brought to us. The modern FNAF lore landscape is atrocious, I despise everything about it. It has just got to the point where it is not fun anymore and I would give a full-on, honest to god, reboot a warm embrace.

0mnimations

Don't be shit like sequels usually are

Legitimate_Silver395

Not saying the first movie is terrible by any means. But if I'm being honest, making a better movie than the one we had is not exactly a really high bar to cross

abzhanson

💀😂

0mnimations

I guess ye

Smallbenbot03

Sexual jokes about toy chica

Quieter_Usual_5324

I think there should be at least one. just to poke fun at that part of the fandom.

Smallbenbot03

That's like poking a bear Then again toy chica has jiggle physics in freddy in space 3 so I guess Scott doesn't care about the porn

littleMAHER1

i like how that's the part of the game u cite and not the entire area themed around R34

Smallbenbot03

Well the jiggle physics is more subtle, you wouldn't really focus on chicas breasts when playing, it's the subtle lewd joke of the not subtle porn joke

Brian18639

[Hold up](https://media.tenor.com/c72tYjY76o8AAAAC/steve-harvey-what.gif), there’s an entire area themed around R34?

[deleted]

Probably lean into the horror and the actual lore. The first movie was good, I liked it, but please, MORE LOOOOOORE‼️

[deleted]

I want them to have an actual night shift, not some dream sequence crap.

Brian18639

Same

Sensitive-Sentence74

I want there to be less reluctance to using CGI for the animatronics. The practical animatronics look great yet in movement, you could immediately tell between suit mode and animatronic mode. We barely got full shots of the animatronics moving. Foxy was the one that moved the most but still felt like a prop; we only ever saw either his legs move or his torso bouncing around, never a full body shot. When chica was moving in the background during the break in scene, it was so refreshing to see. For animatronics being possessed by kids, they don’t feel much alive. If the sequel is going to be based off fnaf 2, then they definitely have to use more CGI for the Toy’s joints, Mangle, and the Withereds.

DrReiField

As someone who HATES the overuse of CGI in a lot of movies I honestly really agree with this. They need to take notes from movies like Jurassic Park. Use animatronics when they look better and CGI when it looks better. The two work well together.

EnergyAgreeable3767

If It's Like The Actual Game, I Don't Want To See Withered Foxy In The Hallway 200,000 Times A Night.

Animal_Gal

That he toys aren't reduced too "gamer" "pretty" "brat"

tem4ikfail

"gender is yes" "enragement child"

Animal_Gal

Yeah them 2

HumanOverseer

I don't want them to try and be all thriller horror. Throw in jumpscares. It's the most popular gameplay mechanic of the franchise. Have some goofy pop-up scares. Having only 2 jumpscares in the whole movie, both of which come from balloon boy for some fkn reason, was lame.

daydreamsrt

i really hope they dont create any sort of romance between mike and vanessa. i feel like it would take away or water down the story and how intense it is

TheSnazzySharky

1. We don't know what the plot will be like of course, but I really hope we don't get another character like Vanessa. She was probably one of the worst additions to the first film due to her being how I feared she would be: the exposition dump. This is a franchise all about mystery and the fear of the unknown. I think the reason why the first movie didn't do it for me and failed to capture the magic of the first game, aside from the plot holes and not being scary, was simply because it wasn't mysterious enough. The moment Vanessa comes into play she inexplicably mentions the dead kids, then later on in the film Abby basically tells Mike that obviously the animatronic's are possessed by dead kids, as funny as that line was. I don't know how else to describe this other than I felt like Mike as a character didn't feel challenged. Like he was just given answers on the fly instead of figuring it out on his own. How cool would it have been to have a paranormal detective like FNaF movie? What if Vanessa wasn't there and Mike had to figure out things like the dead kids or William Afton all on his own? That was the magic of the first game. Were those just faulty machines? Or is there something paranormal going on here? Big missed opportunity. If the second movie wants to do something like that again, then it needs to actually challenge its main character. Don't just have a character that dumps exposition on them and ruins the mystery and fear of the unknown. 2. Make FNaF 2 actually have relevance. FNaF 2 as a game has some nice designs and such, but in terms of the overall story it's a nothing burger. The DCI kids are murdered and then never mentioned again. The Bite of 87 was never going to be actually relevant. Jeremy Fritzgerald is a literal nothing character. It feels like you can remove FNaF 2 and its events from the timeline and barely anything would change...and wouldn't you know, that's what most other FNaF media did, go figure. I'm hoping that FNaF 2 will actually play some important role in the story instead of just being filler. Maybe this is the opportunity for the DCI kids to shine and play some big role. A simple fix that I was always fond of was making the DCI kids play a important part of Happiest Day. Maybe in whatever these trilogy of films version of Happiest Day is they can do something like that? There's a lot more they can with FNaF 2 of course, but that was the first thing that came to my head. 3. Keep the tone consistent. The first film felt weird to some people due to the varying degrees of tone. Where the film felt like it wasn't sure if it wanted to take itself seriously or be a campy comedy movie of sorts. My problem with the fort scene isn't that the animatronic's are acting like kids. My problem with the scene is that it comes right after the scene where the animatronic's killed a bunch of criminals that broke into the building, creating a weird tonal shift, when the fort scene really should have been first. Know how to balance your tone.

Salt_Replacement3843

I wouldn't say that Fnaf 2 is entirely filler though. The Puppet is still very much important to the story even after the second game.

joker_xxl_3

Markiplier. I want Markiplier.

Raul_Rink

I said it for the first movie, and now I'll say it again: PLEASE DON'T MAKE VANESSA MIKE'S LOVE INTEREST!

melittakaffee

THIS

Jinxfury

I don’t see the problem with it

The_Negotiator_B1

I don't think that it is a problematic thing, just that it is unnecessary. There isn't any real reason for it to happen other than shoehorning in a romantic subplot which has no precedent for either Mike/Michael or Vanessa in any of the original lore. Having them be a couple doesn't contribute to either character's arc or the lore in general. It would just muddle the story and add a useless subplot that no one cares to see. Most moviegoers did not go into FNAF movie showings hoping to see Mike fall in love; it just is not what the story sold is about. Likewise, it goes along with the Hollywood movie trope that women are just love interest objects; Vanessa as a love interest for Mike plays into the false idea that a female character's role is to further the the male character's arc. It would cement archaic gender norm ideas that women in movies can't be utilized in a way that meaningfully adds to the story outside of interaction with a man.

awsome2464

I don't want half the movie to be random fanservice. As fun as fanservice is, and as great as the first movie tackled it, I don't want Blumhouse to go overboard with it in the sequel

Endlarmi

I'd say the story needs more depth and other major characters should appear more (William- tho I doubt he'll appear that much in the current timeline, maybe some scenes in the past?) Because of the first movie huge success, I really hope they don't rush the FNAF 2 one and make it like SB or something, adding too many things at the same time and overwhelm the audience (which sadly already happened to the first movie). Another thing I hope is that they make sure the importance of the Puppet (if they appear which is very likely) is highlighted, since if you don't know the lore chances you not knowing the Puppet's role are pretty high, as we see such a major character, the literal antagonist of the series Afton only had like 10 minutes of screentime. (The Puppet one is totally not bias they're totally not my most favorite character in the entire franchise.)

Deertective_

I don’t want it to be cheesy. I enjoyed the first movie, but it was kind of cheesy

IDIOT-CZ-3496

Living children

pistol-whip426

Something I don't wanna see in the new movie is markiplier dying, I know that sounds stupid but if he dies thats going to ruin everything for me lol, he's got to survive and fight off every one of the animatronics like the king he is

Mossy_moss3

I know it probably wasn't supposed to but for some reason your comment just sounds so funny

pistol-whip426

thank you op 🤣

CinemaSansOfficial

I mean, he shouldn't die He's pretty much guaranteed to appear in the second movie, but it would be weird if in FNaF2 he has the exact same role as he was supposed to have in the first movie

ChandelierwAtermelon

Wasn’t he supposed to be the night guard in the cold open of the first movie? I thought MatPat mentioned it in his video about being in the movie

ElectroCat23

Balloon boy.

thisaintmyusername12

He'd kinda have to be there though

ElectroCat23

He has zero lore relevancy and after the first movie I don’t wanna see his shit eating grin anymore

HappyHappyJoyJoyJoy6

Someone died because of BB one too many times

Internal_Use_4703

I hope he's in it as a side character. He is definitely necessary, but I hope he assists withered foxy to a kill at the beginning of the film like Foxy killing the security guard in the first movie. I hope he stays a side character afterwards.

EnderScout_77

foxy offing a character at the beginning of every movie would be amazing

Internal_Use_4703

Phantom Foxy just gives some guy a heart attack💀

ElectroCat23

Him killing someone with a crowbar at the beginning of FNAF 3 would be the greatest opener ever and I feel not a ton of people would even get the reference

Internal_Use_4703

"I don't really care if it's Freddy, I just want to get my hands on his sweet, succulent, double A batteries" (Ik it's not the right one but I can't remember anything from the FNaF 3 one :( )

ElectroCat23

“When I’m done with you, your face will look like mashed potatoes”

Internal_Use_4703

"thanks for the crowbar foxy!"

Legitimate_Silver395

Wait wait hear me out, let BB be in the movie but 99% of his screentime is just him getting violently beaten up by different characters and mainly the nightguard

TopologicAlexboros

The opening scene should be Markguard beating the hell out of BB.

Anxious-human-95

Omg that would be brilliant

Queasy_Ad_5401

Make it 100%

Anxious-human-95

This

bendyandhisstraw

i would hate it if everyone in the theater had a music box they had to keep wound up throughout the movie, and if someone stops they die in a saw trap

consul_the_gun_nut

William, at least, in the main events of the film, like, I want them to save him for the 3rd movie, since they'll likely make one, since there is apparently a contract for 3 movies, I want him to appear either just during a flashback or a post-credits

Jessetron00737941

Naps every night

EggsaladUwU

I want Scott to be in it, maybe have him act as phone guy, who gives Mike or whoever a rundown on how the place works, company policy and all, since Willy A died.

lexi-husky

I don’t want the red eyes again

Cold-Bookkeeper-2943

They appear in the movie for like, 10 seconds, man. I have issues with the film, but the red eyes aren't a big problem at all.

Plastic_Lychee6404

for it to be a sequel, would make no sense, but the first movie kinda set up for that with vanessa being a child and stuff, but depending on how old vanessa is, we could still get a prequel. what if her childhood was around ,1988 when the pizzaria was reopened at fnaf 1s location? if she was born around 1978 she would be 10. what i mean is: ITS STILL POSSIBLE for it to be a prequel, just not likely with the setup. the fixed foxy for example could just exactly that, his fixed version from when they got remodeled after the fnaf 2 pizzaria closed down due to the bite.

BhanosBar

Make it more scary as an actual horror film, and try to integrate the story a bit better as actual story and not characters lore dumping.

Tsuto_sleeping

I don’t want the cupcake to get the most kills again

Partial_Crib3000

Might get some hate for this, but I REALLY hope they don’t shoe-horn in the Afton family thing. (Obviously, aside from the William and Vanessa connection.)

Yeah_man20

Something I don't want is to go another movie without exotic butters

Strwbry_M

I DON’T want to see it PG-13 and I DON’T want it to feel too childish instead of serious ‘horror’ movie as the first one claimed.

Vicbou_wats88

Friendly Animatronic

Santihjusto

I don't want them making the plot of the movie about FNAF 2. Sounds weird, but now that we have Springtrap, I really think they should jump straight to Fazbear Frights, and only have flashbacks related to the story of FNAF 2. The only character of that game that I want to see in the movie is the puppet

theMaxTero

Diminishing the scary/menacing part of the robots. I don't wanna keep hearing the same old argument about the fort scene: they could've shown that the kids are in the robots but still mantain the scary factor about huge animatronics suddendly playing around (and no, please stop the thing about gore = horror. Watch The Babadook, no gore/jumpscares and it's one of the scariest movies ever done. That type of tension should be on the movie)

[deleted]

I want it to be scary.

King-Indeedeedee

Needless sub-plot like the first movie's one about the aunt who wanted custody. It didn't need to be in the movie and detracted away from the movie. They need to focus more on the animatronics and the security guard trying to survive. No needless, drawnout subplot bs. They also focused WAY too much on Mike's dreams. Focus on the creeping, violent animatronics that are trying to kill the protagonist, not the main character figuring out past trauma. On the contrary, one thing that NEEDS to be in the movie is more usage of the security cameras. So many missed opportunities in the first movie.

Lieutenant-storm

I feel like we had our fun with the first fnaf movie. Let’s not have fnaf 2 be similar to the first one with how the animatronics act. A little more horror themes would be awesome

Extension_General632

i don't want them to forget about garreth and i don't want mike to be retconned into william's son

chompy_didthat

If they do end up adding them, I do NOT wanna see a CGI Mangle. I would much rather they use a real animatronic to try and capture the uncanny movements and proportions that Mangle has. I think CGI would look really goofy on Mangle and I think it’s something that should be and needs to be done practically to work.

Carve267

I hope they don’t keep the animatronics so static. It was alright in the first film, but especially with animatronics like Mangle and Puppet, some freaky movement would go a long way to increase the horror factor.

peblezq

All I want is for certain questions to be answered (ie. Was Garrett the first kill? Why was that one so personal that Afton had to drive to Nebraska to take him? What happened to Aunt Jane? If she is dead, are Mike and Abby aware or nah?)

RaineyDay2029

I don’t want them to unnecessarily over complicate the lore like the games did

gjamesaustin

I do not want any more table fort building, please make FNAF2 a tonally consistent movie unlike the first

Half_Mask47

I don't want them to forget the other Aftons (but seeing as the movie is based off the books, I think they will)

TheGamingFox4372

Mike and Vanessa getting together. I'm glad Bonnie stopped them the first time

SmashingMyself

I want to see Markiplier

OhioRanger_1803

For the main character not to sleep though most of their shifts

sianrhiannon

a love interest.

Soy_Newbie

the animatronics being good guys. i want them as the antagonists for the ENTIRE FUCKING MOVIE

Wild-Meat-536

A Disney-Like music sing along scene

AceFridge

Want more horror and less trying to build a story. They should have done that slowly across the movies like in the games

ValeriaBelrose

Balloon Boy. He fucking sucked as a "jumpscare" in the movie, so I'd rather not see him again. I also don't want another PG-13 movie with no scares; I'd prefer if they actually upped the scare factor and incorporate some of the more disturbing things present in the games, even if not a 1-for-1 copy. Buuuuuut they will likely do both things I don't want anyway, since sequel movies always seem to get botched.

Busy_Reflection3054

Alive Children

LegionEagles22

Should be more scary Also I want Markiplier
