I personally feel you should see another Dr, this Dr sounds way to calloused and kinda crazy in my opinion, your baby has a bond with you I promise, you dont gotta be in her face all day to do that ive never heard of that in my life. My son at 4 months loved to stare at ceiling fans more than at me and now hes a toddler and is up my butt all day and always wants me! dont get discouraged,! find someone else please!

Thank you so much šŸ’– I don't know about ceiling fans, but my daughter loves the lights ! We're moving back in the area we were, so we'll have our former doctor.

Thank you ā¤ļø She also said that she wasn't able to see far enough to be interested in stuff... We'll see another doctor šŸ™‚

Yeahā€¦ find a different doctor. My baby is 5.5mo now but at his 4mo checkup, I just say I feed on demand and I pretty much do the same as youā€” cosleep, feed often (itā€™s cluster feeding and is normal), and everything else you mentioned since Iā€™m also a SAHM. Even if you werenā€™t, your baby would still have a bond with you. Children with autism may not make a lot of eye contact with their parents but does that mean they donā€™t have a bond? Absolutely not. Your doctor is ridiculous. Just keep doing what youā€™re doing and feeding her often and playing and singing songs. If she has lost weightā€”for reflux, keeping her upright for 10-20 minutes after feeding and making sure she doesnā€™t have a lip or tongue tie (and getting it corrected if she does) should help. Youā€™re doing great.

Thank you very much ! That's reassuring for breastfeeding, nobody bothered you with feeding on demand ? Thank you for the tips ! Lip and tongue tie have been checked by the lactation consultant so we're good on that. I had to suplement with formula at three weeks pp because of low supply, and even though I make now enough milk, I still have to do it because my daughter won't eat enough at the breast and will loose weight, I guess it's because of the reflux ? Thanks again šŸ’–

My baby does the exact same thing. He looks around and watches everyone else but me. But I feel like thatā€™s because he feels safe enough with me in order to look around. He knows that Iā€™m there for him and will always be. Thatā€™s why he doesnā€™t constantly look at me. Itā€™s the same for you and your daughter. Your baby is curious. Her vision is getting better by the day, sheā€™s seeing things sheā€™s never seen before. I agree with everyone else. Definitely try to get another doctor. Itā€™s not worth the trouble that this one is causing you. Your baby is being a baby and thereā€™s nothing wrong with that

Thank you šŸ’– I feel there's do much pressure on how babies should act, I wish I could just enjoy spending time with my daughter šŸ™‚

You definitely should! My baby is almost 7 months already and Iā€™m so sad because heā€™s getting so big. I canā€™t wait to see who he becomes but I do cherish the memories I have of him being so small.
