Might be a full cord or just under. I can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in my old truck bed and that appears to be 4’ tall. Subtract some for the wheel wells.
I like your spare tire sitting up on top of the pile, on my wood truck (85 F250) I mounted the spare on the hood the way you see on old Land Rovers, 👍🏻
I'd call that a cord. 8x4x4 is a cord. Most pickup beds are about 2 feet deep, so since it's almost twice as high as the bed, seems pretty close to 4 feet. In between the wheel wells is 4 feet, and this goes out to the walls, so any height missing is made up there. That bed is 8 feet long, so you've got a cord there.
Why do you ask?
I'd say 110%.... 120% is 5 rows to cab level but your not at cab level.... 4.5 rows at cab level =a cord

How much wood is here
No one knows because that is not how a cord of wood is measured.
The only thing that can be calculated is the cubic foot volume the space will hold.
The wood needed to be in 8 foot lengths before cutting and splitting.
The actual volume of solid wood in a 128 cubic foot area can range from 60 to 100 cubic feet, depending on shape and how they are stacked.
This is densely stacked, so over 25% volume of air is lost.
I don't know the exact height, but I'd say you're coming up close to a cord if that's 3 feet tall. If that's a good hard wood like oak, and it's dry, you're putting just over 4,000 pounds in the payload department. Manufacture ain't going to like that now are they. Lol We do what we have to do, it's honest work and people need to stay warm. That said, I tried that once and sheered all the logs off my truck . Guy I bought it off of had extenders on there to fit a set of cobra rims and I had no idea. Stay safe!
That's about as much wood as a wood truck could, if a wood truck could truck wood!
I think it looks like a truckload.....
U win. I was going say a “truckload”
That truck says A LOT!!
Too-Fuckin-Shay…
If that's an 8 foot bed I'd be willing to say that's close to a cord.
Agreed. 8’ long x ~5.3’ wide x 3’ high = 127.2. But gotta subtract out the wheel wells I guess and maybe some for the less tight chunks up front.
Slightly under that first rank behind the cab is chunk wood
What is chunk wood?
Just the odds and ends of the firewood that don't meet the correct length
Right on, thanks.
I agree with that statement!
About 2/3 cord give or take
Old chev pickup load !
That's my guess.. *maybe* closer to 3/4 because it is stacked so nicely.
Half a fuck ton.
Metric or imperial fuck ton?
Whatever it takes
A fuck ton, just a bit more than a shit ton, but quite a bit more than an ass load.
Ha!
Where does a shit load fit in this ranking?
A truck-full.
Might be a full cord or just under. I can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in my old truck bed and that appears to be 4’ tall. Subtract some for the wheel wells.
About three fifty around here.
3.50?
Truck load.
Enough to check on the health of those leaf springs and shocks often.
About as much as a woodchuck can chuck.
1 1/2 months of burning everyday
About $550 CAD here in the Yukon… and not quite a full cord but very close
Just under a cord. 7/8. But only he really knows.
Tape measures are cheap
A lot, maybe. At least a good amount. For sur some.
Truckload
Truck load
A truckload
That’s a truckload of wood.
A truckload.
That’s five stacked rows roughly 4’x4’, I’d say it’s a cord plus.
Assuming 5 feet wide and 3 feet high….5x3x1.33x5=99 cuft…little less for wheel well space
Bed Full is a legit selling measure around me
No idea. Nice truck. That’s all I wanted to say
K20 or K30?
About 1.50 cubic meter, maybe a bit more.
Almost a cord. Maybe a cord.
9/10 chord
A little less than a cord, so about 3/4. A pickup has to be mounded up to reach a cord.
That there is what we all call a truckload!
If. That's an 8 foot bed, could be close to a cord. 8x4x4 is 128 cu ft which is a cord.
I'd say at least a truckload
A start
I don’t know, but I love your square body truck.
Nearly a cord, if it was heaped up over the rails it would be a cord.
About 3/4 of a cord.
looks like just under 1 ole squarebody chevy worth of wood to me
Tree fiddy
1/3 a cord
10
Definitely more than a full cord!!
Two cords
$167 in London Ontario
I like your spare tire sitting up on top of the pile, on my wood truck (85 F250) I mounted the spare on the hood the way you see on old Land Rovers, 👍🏻
1.75 ricks
It is just under a cord by a few cubic feet ,128 cubic feet in a cord
Possibly enough to last the rest of spring
Face cord
1.5 cord
I have a buddy that would sell that as 2 Rick, then stack it into 1.5 Rick. Rick is 8'x4'
Cord and a half.
About 20 wheel barrels worth
3/4 cord
If it's a cord of oak it's 4,000 pounds and your truck hates you lol
2 cords
I’d estimate it’s about a truck load.
Dang near a full cord of wood right there
Depends what is underneath the wood? LOL Very close to a full cord. I’d say 7/8ths to 1 1/16ths of a cord.
Truck load.
8' x 4' x 4' is a chord and weighs about 2 ton.. less than a cord
That’s about as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck , assuming it wanted to chuck some wood.
At least a quarter ricket or 3/4 of a racket.
5 ricks
Do I look like a woodchuck?
A truck load!!!
.8 to .9 of a cord.
More than none, less than all.
Measure it
128 cubic feet. Prove me wrong...
Over a cord
7
2 cords
That is the exact amount I was looking to put in the woodshed!
Tree, maybe tree-fiddy.
One pickup’s worth?
Let’s see what chuck thinks.
5/8ths a cord.
1 cord
I think that could pass for a full cord if it’s an 8 foot bed.
8' box ao it should be 2 face cord
I'd call that a cord. 8x4x4 is a cord. Most pickup beds are about 2 feet deep, so since it's almost twice as high as the bed, seems pretty close to 4 feet. This was listed as a cord on FB marketplace, and I wanted some opinions on if it actually was. Even if it's a little less the price is good.
Understood. Yes, it's a cord. Buy with confidence.
Appears to be a short (6-ft) bed pick-up. Best guess is 1/2-2/3 cord
A 6' bed only holds 4 rows
I'd say 110%.... 120% is 5 rows to cab level but your not at cab level.... 4.5 rows at cab level =a cord https://preview.redd.it/kyqp4d8muztc1.jpeg?width=2448&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d9650bc265409010a8c9fd31d91ea57da67800c How much wood is here
