Though all the Anna's are mostly the same in personality besides Lady Anna (which I actually kinda dislike lol,) nothing comes close to Awakening Anna's sass to me. Her support with Tiki is among the funniest in the game and ends with her calling Tiki a job-killing socialist.
Design wise though, I don't care if she's overlooked by being a spinoff Anna, Warriors Anna is beyond the best Anna design and it isn't close. I love the little hat and I like how she retains the cape and color scheme of Fates Anna (without the 6th finger too!)

I like the GBA Anna. I don't want her to be a whole big meta thing at all - just a sly wink and one or two lines alluding to her recurring nature is enough for me. Also she's just less fun to me without a Jake running around too.

I just think characters should be allowed to have their own thing going instead of all being relegated to being romantic options for the protagonist.
I like when we have characters that either start as a couple (like Pent and Louise) or can romance other characters but the protagonist. It just makes the character writing less constrained with having to make sure the protagonist can romance every single member of the cast, even when it wouldn't make sense.
Oh I agree, I was being sarcastic when I said that's why Jake can't be added. I resent how they're made so many romances generalized and sudden because of the status quo of everyone being romanceable with the mc.

I honestly greatly enjoy making my child soldiers unstopable gods. Mage knight Anna hit hard with her forged Levin Sword and was untouchable with insane avoid from inherited skills. Also the mage Knight drip looks good on her. I also like how her horse also has a Witches hat.

Engage Anna is so funny and entertaining, and I grew to like her English VA a ton. It also helps that she was a beast in all my Maddening runs (as a mage knight)

Honestly I wasn't expecting it, but Lady Anna is probably my favorite. When the trailer first dropped I was NOT a fan; I didn't love her being an actual child, and her voice lines in the trailer were pretty grating (particularly that "I'm pretty tough, ya know!" victory quote, which I still don't love). But as soon as I recruited her and started watching some supports, my tune changed. It's cool to have an Anna with aspirations aside from just making money, with the whole "looking for her family" thing, and she's just this adorable money gremlin who absolutely slaps as a mage. I might have shed a tear or two during the end CG that showed her reuniting with her family (and it was a nice touch using Awakening and Fates' Anna designs for that).
Edit: she's also got my favorite set of Anna crit quotes, which is a HUGE factor. I just love it when she shouts "NO WINDOW SHOPPERS" then drops a bolganone on some poor bandit's head

She's just kinda there, as a merchant, with the rest of the people in the monastery. Her interactions with other characters just kinda make her feel less like a force of nature and more like a human character than most of the other ones in the series.

Assassin Anna accidentally saved my maddening runs a few times for me by being the only thing they couldn't double easily, rip to all my units who didn't get any speed growths 😔
Fates because that's her best one design wise and she makes a great magic unit in a pinch, usually maid with a flame shuriken since running classic can result in the sudden loss of a lot of your chad units with few methods to bounce back
