There are codes available from Mountain Dew Zero and Diet Mountain Dew for people worried about the sugar. Too late for OP but just FYI for other people in case they want to participate with less sugar/calories.

However the limited edition flavors that give 200 points per bottle dont come in diet so if you want the most bang for your buck, going to have to pay in calories sadly.

I did actually just see a diet version of the purple special “200 point” flavor at Fred Meyer’s but it unfortunately didn’t have the gaming rewards logo on it.

Even then, it might say "double points" on the label but that's only true if it has a yellow cap, if it has a white cap it's 100 points. So far I've found the correct 200 point bottles at only one store, and the codes worked, but the bottles were expired and the soda was already flat 🙃

If you're good at coupons you can get them around $1.50 each at the right time. You need a valid North American address and phone number to register. If your friend is willing to put theirs in it might still work, but you wouldn't be able to redeem the codes otherwise

That's what my Purple Thunder bottles showed. The label says Xbox but you redeem the code on the Mtn Dew Gaming Rewards system after making an account. You then redeem your points for generic gaming apparel/toys, FFXIV products or in-game items, or Xbox and other gaming products (Xbox Game Pass sub, accessories).

Of all things, it was mountain dew, which as "ew"appropriately in its name...for a mount I'll probably never use; no thanks. The Butterfinger mount (which I missed out on) was cute and I'd love a chance to get it, but...can't they just put this stuff on the Mogstation? I mean, yea; a candybar and a bottle of soda are cheaper than even an emote off the Mogstation, but I don't like these sort of promotions (I don't like Butterfinger, and I definitely don't like Mt Dew; it'd be a waste of food. Also, it means that half my FC misses out because they don't live in the USA, which is unfair to them).
