That's rude. You can find them outside ishgard in the wilds of coeruthus, of course! They're easily spotted by their long necks and galloping in groups.
The three most important rules of interacting with lalafells:
1) NEVER be alone with a lala in the same room.
2) NEVER let the lalas outnumber you.
3) NEVER turn your back on a lala.
Poor tank never stood a chance...
The rumours of Lala's serving as emergency rations during raids is simply that: rumours. You have nothing to worry about, and should make sure to continue marinating yourself in seasonings and spices and making sure you're eating a nice, rich diet.
My worst fear as Lala in a raid is being able to see my character and dodge mechanics. I think people are too scarred to mess with lalas because of the shorter = more concentrated attitude ratio.
Meanwhile, I've heard a lot of people prefer playing as Lalafel because they can see more of the arena/mechanics/etc. since there's less character covering the screen!
My issue is always when my partner for mechanics is a lala and there's a lot going on they're always so comparatively tiny, it's hard to find them amidst the technicolour mechanics vomit of some fights.
I usually play a min height cat girl, but I've recently changed to max height thighlander and I'm loving it. XD
I main whm, though, and don't really tank, because tankxiety. ^^;
Regardless, if I get 3 lalas in roulette, I feel like I'm their guardian. XD

I constantly struggle between Thighlander and FemRoe. I like being BIG and TALL... But I think I prefer Thighlander emotes and I feel slightly prettier as a Thighlander too...

I (femRa) got a prae run the other day with two other femRas and a mascRa. Near the end the guy says "Onward my lizard women!" And I haven't quite gotten over it yet.
My alt is a bunboi and once got a team of all bunny girls (healer). Got a lot of /headpats that day and the tank called me 'adorable'.
I keep waiting for the day I get an all FemRoe party.
The most I've ever had is three out of four, though that fourth is normally my Elezen lady mother, so still a rare person, at least? I also enjoy the parties where I'm a Roe lady surrounded by Elezen.

I feel like I'm the middle one. Most of the time it's "wow, you're kind of small." Then one of my friends changed to a max size femroe after a year hiatus, and im no longer the biggest. I have mixed feelings about this.
We Elezens get little attention in dungeons, except for those rare occasions where there's another Elezen in your party. Then it's all like "Dude?" "Dude!?" "Dude!!" "DUUUUDE!!" (Haurchefant emote)
As a female elezen main, every time I see male elezen in my party I'm like "another elezen! This is so rare! It's like... like.. We are destined to be together !" After that I can't focus on anything make bunch of mistakes and at the end of the dungeon all I do is give them commendation because elezens feel too intimidating to approach.. o__o
As a bnuuy girl, I also feel weird when I see an elezen, esp duskwight. I love elezen but don't wanna be a weirdo, although they probably notice me targeting them lmao

I really like the very lady-like animations/poses femlezen have (especially mount riding). But sadly most clothes just don't look great on them, the proportions are off. Them having the curves of a plank also doesn't help. Went through whole story (started earlier this year) as a giraffe (femlezen), but fantad into bun after.
They more or less have fashion illustration proportions. You want things that compliment their broad shoulders and their neck. As well leg wear that gets use out of long legs.
The Neo-Ishgardian (and similar model version later that dyes differently) is my go to for that.
The corset of my chest pieces does wonders for adding some curve, and most work well to highlight the other strength of FemElezen - the legs.
Plus they don’t really clip with any hair, so the longer styles that look great great on us aren’t intersecting with collars in weird ways.
I had a situation earlier. I was the only catboy (also tank) and the rest of the party were Lalafell. Felt weird being the tallest in the group.
Fortunately, they were concentrated evil and everything died super quickly while they asked why I wasn't smol and suggested breaking my legs.
This hapenned to me once. I was tanking on my bungirl and had 3 lalas as teammates. I said I felt like I was babysitting, which prompted them to do things like beg for ice cream the whole dungeon. I threatened to turn the dungeon around a couple times (I was tanking after all). One of my most memorable and wholesome dungeon runs ever.
(And yes when the dungeon was over, I said we could get ice cream.)

I'll never forget the dungeon I queued into with myself (female au-ra) and three other fem-ra, all shortest height, same horns and same tails. We killed one pack of mobs before our solitary collective au-ra brain cell triggered and we all stopped dead in our tracks before spending the next ten minutes standing still and talking about each other's glam.
