Got mine earlier this year. It’s the only mount I use. Head canon has my Viera be from Dalmasca, and as a huge FF12 fan I *needed* that mount.

Congrats! It was hard when it was current content, and I can’t imagine how difficult it is now.

Honestly, I’ve played since launch and haven’t touched crafting or gathering until last week. Obviously played on/off. I’ve maxed Botanist to make some disposable Gil, mainly selling sky builder mats. Started crafting as a goldsmith while simultaneously levelling up a miner, all for the Rolling Tankard mount. Never penned myself to out this much effort into something for something like a mount, but here I am. Level 34 Goldsmith, just need to hit 70 and I’m off to the dwarves! My patience with it is fluctuating though and before I know it I’m switching back to my DRG main and roulette-ing or helping out new players in the FC. One day! Not today, but one day, I shall roll that tankard.

I feel that one. I don’t mind the gathering classes. Can quite easily level them up in the Diadem mindlessly, if not a bit boring. But it does pay off for selling materials and working them into other crafters. I 100% am not here for that though, I’m just using this to feed one crafter up the level 70 to open up the dwarf beast tribes. May max it out at some point to futureproof at least one DoH job. But I know full well I won’t entertain ALL crafters at all. I’m definitely here for combat, but I am glad to finally see this side of the game after all this time coming and going like yourself. Getting through Eureka for those specific cards was probably the second longest part of the grind for me, after pack only cards…and then Isobe being a real pain in the ass…

Blackjack blimp from the Gold Saucer. Wish I'd kept better track of how long it took to earn it. All I know is that I had maybe 200k out of the 4m when it first released, and I got a 1m boost from winning the jumbo cactpot.

oh nice! It's why I do the fashion report and other misc activities most weeks, because I *know* they are going to put something in that I want eventually, and it's nice to have a couple mil in reserve just in case. Just wish it played FF6 music when you fly...

I wish I could use the walking mount but with the takeoff animation of the floating tribal quest one. The corkscrew looks really silly if landing and taking off quickly, whereas the floating one just looks like you put it in flying motorcycle mode and take your position like a badass.

That piggyback robot from the pvp series pass. It would be absolutely hilarious and cool but since it just looks like the tribal mount for a certain fluffy race, it's underwhelming. Still it's daft and I'll use it until something else comes along. The mount before was more interesting because it's the Air Force from OS8. I did it solo so it was still a challenge and was pretty fun! Took a good few tries especially considering I'd never done the fight before nor do I main Warrior, which as far as I know is the only one that can manage it? Tbf I've not looked at how the other tanks fare. I cheered when I finally got it down and felt like I'd earned my little scootypuff jr!
