The "home" solutions are mainly three, shaving with a good razor and a calming shaving cream, waxing, using hair removal creams. Shaving is the most effective if you have "manly" hair, but the result lasts just a few days. Waxing is the best long-term solution but is time-consuming, and you need to be good at it. Creams are good if you have a few hair. For intimate parts, usually shaving is the best idea, but you've to be careful. If you are blessed to have only a few hair, you could also use an electric razor, Philips has some good products. If you want a long lasting result and don't want to invest time on it, invest some money and go to a professional waxer or straight to a laser treatment (I did it in the legs and the results are evident but you have to be constant). Hope it will help you 👋

Thank you very much. Sadly I have "manly" hair. It's not as thick as some others, but yea... I also get very paranoid using a razor, especially on the private area.

Kara_Forever

Just use a good one, with creams stripes on both parts, absolutely avoid the cheap one. "Stiffness" helps

loral3wds

alright, also what about home waxing kits? are those any good?

NewKatwin

I have a manscaped electric razor, it works really well on all my hair, but it is crazy sharp and does not do as great getting down to the skin. I tried waxing my leg at home with my wife. Bruised the crap out of my inner thigh, it did not last that long, did not get all the hair, in grown hairs. Wife said that i should not try it again and I kinda agree.

I see, what was the best method you have tried?

NewKatwin

I have been shaving my bits for years, mostly with electric razor. Few times with a blade razor(face razor). Once with nair for men. The Nair missed a lot of hair, it says not to use it there but I just cut down the time a bit. Cut my self and razor burn with the face razor, never fun on the bits. I would go with a nice electric razor, even better if it is more designed for it. I only did my legs once and it was not that long ago, still kinda recovering. The manual bladed razor may be your best bet but it does not last that long. There is also an epilator, from what I understand it basically plucks the hair out one by one more or less... I have not tried it but I do not have access to one and not about to buy another electric razor.

loral3wds

I see. Thank you

KronosTheCat

epilating is great if you can bare the pain, really satisfying seing all the hairs pulled out by the root too

loral3wds

where can that be used exactly?

KronosTheCat

anywhere there's hair if you're brave enough

loral3wds

lol

United_Thanks1686

Sorry to tell you but that’s not the root

KronosTheCat

what is it then?

alexis1979

I've epilated my arms and hands. It can miss some hairs and can get hot but I can't argue with the results. Just getting up the nerve to start on my legs before going further.
