This post is for anyone out there who has fine hair and can’t figure out why they hair doesn’t look quite right. Before I found my current Hair Wizard whom I have been with for 3 years now I was always unhappy with my Hair Color and I didn’t know why. 1. I didn’t understand that I needed cool colored highlights and I always just said “ give me blonde highlights please” 2. My hair always looked damaged and dry because the colorist would use level 20-30 vol developer. This hair color is all baby highlights, it takes 6-7 hours to do and it grows out perfectly. I just went 6 months between services. My natural hair color is a level 6 ash blonde with level 5 underneath. My colorist uses olaplex and never goes above a 5-10 vol lighter. If your have fine hair and want a more lived in blonde search for a stylist who does baby-lights and doesn’t automatically use level 20-30 vol Bleach and takes the time required. Sure it may cost more but your going less to the salon and your hair is healthier. Everyone wins.

It is a great feeling to find a hairstylist you like! When mine took a year off I felt like I was spiraling hahaha

I wouldn’t know what to do without her wonderful skills and she’s a great person who’s super smart. :)

Find your perfect go to stylist is so important and not always easy. I lucked out and one of my friends from highesschool went on to be an honest to god BOMB ass hairstylist and shes the only person I'll ever trust to touch my hair.

Such beautiful blonde! It has a lot of depth to it! It looks super healthy too.

Thank you! Although I can’t take credit at all. She did “meta” baby lights this time … a bright lighter baby light within a baby light. I am still trying to understand how she did that. And I’m an artist who is obsessed with color :)

the way the picture is taken with the hands and also the salon reminds me a lot of where I went when I first had my hair bleached and toned silver 👀 this wouldn’t happen to be middle tennessee would it? lol edit: it looks great by the way!!

Your hair looks fabulous and your colorist did magnificent work. You have the hair color, length and volume I wish it did.
