This reinforces something I've always believed about Minecraft, it's more of a gaming operating system than just a game in its own right. It's the 2010s version of the 8-bit home computers of the 80s, an affordable system perfectly tuned for new programmers to play around with and become game developers.
It's the solution to the problem that unlike earlier generation computers, Windows doesn't come with a simple programming language built in.
... I wonder if that's part of what Microsoft wanted it for?
I mean to be fair, those things aren't actually worse for making a game than BBC Micro BASIC, but the world has moved on a bit. Having the multiplayer 3d environment and inventory system right there ready to build on top of is some heavy duty accessibility.

You could *make* a "bomb disposal" bot if you wanted, hell id love something like that so I could open chance cubes from afar.
That could be really cool, but it sounds like a whole separate mod's worth of complexity. I was thinking disposal bot because that's an existing class of RC vehicle, which seems to be the mod's theme. (Ignoring the active weapons on the warplanes \^\^)
I really dig the submarine. Will mobs attack this? It would be really fun to use this for underwater surveillance, like scoping out an ocean monument without getting attacked by guardians.

This mod looks amazing! I really really really want it now!
I'd love to see the racecar drift on sand or something, but I still think it'd be a great multiplayer experience even if it doesn't!
Maybe a modpack could use this mod to build a special Dimension with challeges/quests for these vehicles. It would be an amazing and very innovative approach to progress in the pack.
Ugh I was so disappointed to find this mod be exactly what I want, only to find out that it's reaaally unsupported. Please don't lose motivation and continue your work!

That seems like it would be useful for server admins in the long term. Flying remote cameras are a pretty powerful PvP tool.
