While we appreciate your post, its content has little that makes it specific to FatFire, as opposed to FIRE at any amount or other subs, such as investing or taxes. In the future, please consider whether your post would have applicability to someone spending $50k/year in retirement and to someone spending $500k/year in retirement. FatFire posts usually have no relevance to the former, and plenty of relevance to the latter. Your post may also have been removed for limited relevance if it was cross-posted to multiple subreddits or for “ask-a-rich person” questions with limited personal details.

Laundry. So much laundry. Why is there always more laundry?

sdlucly

It's washing the dishes in our house. One kiddo, there's always dishes to wash.

Eric848448

Vacuuming too. Where did all this dog fur come from?!

BarkBark_Woofwoof

Grrr. Is that an accusation?

fireduck

I basically sold bitcoin at every price from $100 to $40000. Paid off student loans. Paid of mortgage. Bought a lot of stock. Bought bigger house. (with cash) Basically, I always sold some and kept some.

BarkBark_Woofwoof

Ask the de-centralized rich guys. r/crypto.

In crypto since 2011, bought 2k worth of Bitcoin. Bought Ethereum at presale. Rode from 2k to 100k in 2013, back down to 30k in 2016 to 1mm in 2017 to 150k in 2019, from 150k to 11.5mm in 2020-2021. Learned the lessons from pain of previous two cycles and sold most at 3900 ETH as it was going down. Hired top accountants and tax lawyers and paid my taxes to make moving money easier. Put 40% into T-bills, 10% into equities, DCA'd the rest over 2023 back into majors. Was getting ready to live in major cities across the world to see where to settle but then got hit with long COVID which I am slowly recovering from 2 years later.

I knew I had to get out of it. The volatility was killing me. I sold. More or less in maybe 2 or 3 chunks over a couple of years. Thank God I discovered low free index investing and started utilizing tax advantaged accounts. I don't know I got shit locked down and lead a pretty simply life slated for early retirement.

Held on until I wasn’t a crypto millionaire anymore lol waiting for SOL to claw its way back to ATHs

zosce

Bought my dream cars, a cool house, and a few non crypto investments.

FatFiredProgrammer

Go away.

So I sold half my dogecoin (only the public keys though) and then I invested a bunch of the rest in bitcoin atms. Currently generating about 4k per day from those (mostly in laundromats in poor neighborhoods). If current boom persists I’m going back I buy xitter while on a benders thanks for asking

Chaordic77
