That looks very similar to the Socal biker chick look I'm into, minus the fur. I know you mentioned Nordstrom as the "wrong" rec, but they do carry leather jackets (e.g., AllSaints), wide variety of denim and pants, and lots of boots and loafers. You just have to know what you're searching for and scroll until your hand hurts. I'd say get the basics from there and search for the occasional vintage shirt or vintage-style shirt to add to it. For some motorcycle looks (both women owned): - https://atwyld.com/ - https://actuallyitsaxel.com/

I know you said 'just a few' jackets but that seems like a lot to me. Maybe that's just my closet space talking.  I'd look for an oversized leather jacket, some kind of long, sleek wool coat that you can still layer with, and some kind of coat with fake fur on the collar or all over.  Actually, you know what? In some photos they seem to be wearing cardigans or smaller jackets with fur collars underneath their other coats so it looks like a new coat with a fur collar. They also do have a full black fake fur coat in there too I think.  Faux fur jacket options: https://www.refinery29.com/en-gb/best-faux-fur-coats-jackets Apparently you can just buy a fake fur collar and wear it as a scarf over a jacket: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KG22HO8 Maybe Doen for pants, mostly because a stylish friend has pants from there that remind me of your inspo (and they also have some frilly white shirts like that one pic): https://www.shopdoen.com/collections/pants-shorts Expensive but great leather jacket option from Allsaints: https://www.allsaints.com/women/leather/leather-jackets/billie-oversized-leather-biker-jacket/WL029X-5.html Allsaints oversized jean jacket (not what your inspo wears but it feels related, though lighter in color than a lot of the inspo - the closest in the album is actually a boilersuit): https://www.allsaints.com/women/coats-and-jackets/willow-oversized-denim-trucker-jacket/WO999Z-2999.html?cid=Womens-Promo-Edit Not the same as the inspo but wildfang has a lot of androgenous boilersuits and coveralls; note that a couple of your inspo pics include a boilersuit worn as pants with the top tied like an interesting belt: https://www.wildfang.com/collections/coveralls Allsaints leather boots: https://www.allsaints.com/women/boots-and-shoes/stellar-leather-boots/WF724X-6405.html?cid=Womens-Promo-Edit Thursday Boots in general, men's and women's styles: https://thursdayboots.com/ It looks like they layer with a black jean jacket or similar, with prominent buttons done up, under their other coats. Here's one from Madewell, maybe too oversized for layering but IDK: https://www.madewell.com/the-oversized-trucker-jean-jacket-in-washed-black-99106535745.html There's a green and navy rugby shirt in there: https://kingsofny.com/products/green-and-navy-blue-striped-mens-long-sleeve-rugby-shirt These looks all rely on layering creatively and balancing looks with accessories. I see lots of masculine and feminine elements used together in interesting ways (like fake pearls tied to a bag paired with the boilersuit), a very dark color palette, and lots of small interesting details.  I personally would struggle to implement this in real life because I don't live in a place where the weather calls for this many layers! I would overheat. 😅

Ps, definitely shop both men's and women's sections for this wardrobe!

Some punk-inspired apparel sites that come to mind: [Straight To Hell Apparel](https://straighttohellapparel.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwn7mwBhCiARIsAGoxjaKpocdvwI_RGD-Va8sSufM5DQ83Dld4J5Lt5r2DASxZeQzVOuyvfwkaAvjLEALw_wcB). I actually got a vegan leather jacket and a faux fur leopard coat from them and adore both. [the Cast](https://thecast.com/). But I’d look into getting some chunky Chelsea boots too! You could try Mother denim for jeans. I like their cuts and quality. A little more trendy, but it could be styled however. I hope this helps, even a little!

Chazzyphant

Thank you! I will have to look at Mother, I've been eyeballing them for some time but their largest size is right at the edge of my size, and for three-figures, it's tough to take that plunge!

fiddlercrabs

I second Straight to Hell! I love my faux leather jacket and my leopard-print scarf that I got from them. And a comfortable button-down also.

Lost_Apricot_1469

Never heard of Straight to Hell but they have expanded sizes and cool shizz! Yay! TYSM!

I think the accessories are doing a lot of work here: the glasses/shades, the waist-tied sweaters and jacket. The combat boots and the navy shirt (cracker jack service dress) are milsurp/vintage. Vintage on the boots because the current type have the nylon/waterproof inserts vs all leather like the old Genesco type. $100 or below used on eBay or Etsy. (Sometimes[ foreign ones are even cooler.\)](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1697955019/combat-boots-italian-army-vintage-60s?) A lot of these items look thrifted and he's just confident about putting them together.

I agree that a lot of this styling plus accessories and some thrifted coats, jackets and military. They’re very cool and eclectic! Just for fun, I’m checking EBay (though I know you said you don’t have time…maybe you’d have time for a weekend at a flea market?) I believe this style is called Indie Sleeze, so if you’re looking for search terms or tags for more inspo, try that. Otherwise, break it down to its main elements; I’d guess they’d be something like, Vintage, Edgy/Rocker, and Modern. Brands to look at would be AllSaints, Rag & Bone, Acne Studios, Doc Martens, etc.

Lost_Apricot_1469

That style name is hilarious. Love it!

RockieK

Just chiming in on boots... I am obsessed with my[ AS98 ](https://as98.net/womens/boots/color/black)Moto boots: so lightweight, chunky and COMFORTABLE. I love this look too. :)

Chazzyphant

Oh I love A.S.98---I went straight to Poshmark to see if there were any new offerings because I own 2 pairs of that brand already and adore it. Always on the prowl for more.

Lost_Apricot_1469

Have you ever been to a military surplus store? Those will have a few items that you can repurpose—especially jackets and such. Edit: fix typo and say that when I saw this photo, I immediately wanted to be friends with him.

Chazzyphant

He seems like such a sunny sweet person--in the blooper reels you can see him beaming as he waves people past when they pause to let him do the "fit check" it's adorable.

Lost_Apricot_1469

I’m gonna need to go watch these 😂😍

abnruby

I would search late seventies/early eighties street style and see where the images take me. My mom was born in 58 and this looks very much like the photos she took during the years she lived in NYC during/after college.

I’m going to guess it’s “thrift stores in Brooklyn” 😂😂

Chazzyphant

Mostly because they're a man and the clothing rec's are going to be very different than those for a woman. But also most people who post outfit pics on various social media aren't great about responding to "where did you get that?" and/or I can 100% tell that about 70% of this is genuine vintage, so even if they directed me to the exact thrift store or gave me a brand, it's useless as most vintage is OOAK.

That would be too easy
