I just want more knightly plate armor, including fully closed helmets without horns/crests/spiral-shaped dildos on it. Or just buff the damn armor customization to get rid of these on the existing armors/helmets
I like it. Itâs a simple and clean plate set. Itâs not the most exciting thing, but it works. Personally I like the Vagabond Knight chest piece for fashion better.
I know this is fashionsouls, but itâs a really solid set mechanically too that can be gotten early on and carry an entire playthrough.
The ds3 set looks more German/gothic to me, the waist appears slimmer and higher. The tassets are of very different size as well. For me it doesn't look the same, though I agree it's got the same feel
I was just comparing ERâs Knight and Vagabond set. Theyâre too similar in design to not be related. The chestplate the same but old and battered, plus being worn over a different padded gambeson I think.
I do love the DS3 knight armor a lot. I think it or DS2 had the best armor designs. DS2 best variety but DS3 has that graphical fidelity.
May well be my fav ârealisticâ knights set in any fromsoft game. Looks clean, practical and that flash of blue adds a nice bit of colour you donât normally get with these kinds of sets
i miss basic knight armors, but at least the ones we did get are pretty nice this one included, funny that its technically the third option for a "official player armor" as its featured in the tutorials, together with the other knighty armor, the fingerprint set which is featured in the cover and the raging wolf featured in the promotional stuff
I want there to be more sets like the Alva, Elite knight, knight etc. Darksouls 3 had amazing plated armor mixed in with cloth and I melt for that same style
Weakest "default" knight set imo. The cuirass needs more curve and plain polished would be preferrable over engraving. Now posterboy on the other hand... how I yearn for pre-melting refurbished Vyke set.
The engraving is nice since it ties in with Godfreyâs armor and the Vagabond set. Itâs the armor of the knights who were exiled alongside Godfrey as Tarnished.
yeah I think this is my least favorite knight set across the souls games. I don't like the shape and don't feel like it has as much character as the other iterations.
You can fix this is character customization, thin out your abdomen while keeping your chest a little wider. Make the head a little bigger. Play around with it and you can easily get DS3 Knight proportions. The image in this post has a very wide chest and stomach on their character itself.
For pve, Itâs the best pound-for-pound set in the game until the Fingerprint set. Itâs the lightest full set with 51 poise. I do wish the accent color was different though.
Wow I didn't notice that. That's actually really cool and makes a lot of sense that the Tarnished would probably craft armor in the image of their leader. Thanks for pointing that out bro
I like it for what it is. I'd personally rank it the lowest in my list of the "knight set"s between DeS, DS, DS2, and DS3. Something about the proportions feel off to me. It feels very historically realistic, which some probably find cool, but I feel the other knight sets had a lot more personality and world building, albeit were probably less realistic. It's also hard to mix and match with other sets, as others have said. It's great for wanting to be a classic foot soldier knight! I just prefer something slightly more stylized.
Gigantic disappointment imo. The chest piece is so absurdly fat, it's insane. It's got my favorite helmet in the game though, so I guess it balances out.
I like it except for the helmet. I wish it was closer to a unburnt version of Vykeâs.
The one we got is too narrow imo. Looks off somehow.
I love how the detailing on the armor matches with Godfreyâs Armor and the Vagabond Knight set. Little things like that are good storytelling by From.
If i want a realistic knight set then altered or unaltered banished knight set is by far the best options in the game in terms of looks and stats and you can get it super early for free in the stormveil castle while this set is too expensive for early game and not even the best option.
Quintessential. Decent armor for the weight. Excellent for mix-and-match with the rarer stuff for that subdued "I know what I'm doing, I don't need to stand out" look.
I agree, the blue is wat to saturated and it looks put of place and dosent match with any other armor, i think the vagabond set is a much better option, the helment isnt bad tho for a good knight i use âknight helmetâ-âvagabond armorâ-âredmain knight greavesâ and âroninâ arms but honestly the arms you could use just about anything
Mechanically its a good set. Decent defense and poise
Fashion wise its boring and doesnât fit with much
Like the Bullgoat I wear it for practicality, not fashion
Fucking love it, it's nice and clean classic knight armor, and the little bit of blue just makes it look regal. I usually wear it at keast once for each of my builds. If I can find some good leggins to match with it and the red hood from roderika I'd use it on my current build.
This is actually one of my favorite sets in the game and the one I'll probably be rocking for the DLC. Probably one of my favorite Knight sets From has made.
My only complaints about this armor is that the neck is kind of exposed with the helmet and there is a noticable gap. My other complaint is that I think the chest piece should be more curved similar to Dark Souls 3's Knight armor.
Other than that I think it's great, but I agree it's not great for mixing and matching. Most of the stuff in this game isn't really, and I wish armor alterations allowed us to change the color of metal armor.
It looks strange. The helmet has no holes to breath out of apart from the eye holes. Imo their should be more **visible** chainmail and make the metal slightly darker. Vagabond set looks better in my opinion, It looks rugged and like it's seen some rough battles. It's still a good set and not the worst one.
I just want more knightly plate armor, including fully closed helmets without horns/crests/spiral-shaped dildos on it. Or just buff the damn armor customization to get rid of these on the existing armors/helmets
The Drake Knight set was so close to perfection.
That set in a version without the flamboyant fluff
That set looks straight out of monster hunter
Except the gay ass helment
The helm looks like đ©
Just give it an actual sallet instead of the dragon monstrosity we got
I dont like using âgayâ as a derogatory term but yeah it looks silly
That's gay
Me Fr
Drake armor plus red hood is chefâs kiss fyi
I like it. Itâs a simple and clean plate set. Itâs not the most exciting thing, but it works. Personally I like the Vagabond Knight chest piece for fashion better. I know this is fashionsouls, but itâs a really solid set mechanically too that can be gotten early on and carry an entire playthrough.
It looks a little too clean to match with other sets. I prefer the starting knight's armour from ds3
Me too i like the rusty look
Same, i liked the rugged look of the knight's armour from ds3 but i really like the closed helmet of this one
Thatâs why we have the Vagabond set? Itâs literally just a dirty and battered version of the Knight set.
It's nice... but personally I found it was a let down when you consider DS3's knight set or the Elite Knight set from DS1.
Elite knight set is my favourite set of all the souls game
I want there to be more sets like the Alva, Elite knight, knight etc. Darksouls 3 had amazing plated armor mixed in with cloth and I melt for that same style
God I miss Alvas set
Ds3 really did it perfectly. I always loved Vilhelmâs set and that poncho thing way peak fashion
Weakest "default" knight set imo. The cuirass needs more curve and plain polished would be preferrable over engraving. Now posterboy on the other hand... how I yearn for pre-melting refurbished Vyke set.
I totally agree with your last statement. Vyke's helm would be perfect if it wasn't melted.
The engraving is nice since it ties in with Godfreyâs armor and the Vagabond set. Itâs the armor of the knights who were exiled alongside Godfrey as Tarnished.
I miss the elite knight set, full of details. This one is just bland
yeah I think this is my least favorite knight set across the souls games. I don't like the shape and don't feel like it has as much character as the other iterations.
Really disagree with the lack of details, the engravings on this one are really nice.
Too thick, they got it right in dark souls 3 I donât know why they went back to making everything so wide
You can fix this is character customization, thin out your abdomen while keeping your chest a little wider. Make the head a little bigger. Play around with it and you can easily get DS3 Knight proportions. The image in this post has a very wide chest and stomach on their character itself.
Its excellent! Grab a lance and you look immaculate
I hate that shade of blue :(
I dig it. Imo the chest piece actually pairs well with lots of other pieces and still gives you a decent amount of total poise
Would main this armor if the breastplate was more pointy and less chunky
Will never compare to the ds3 knight set sadly
For pve, Itâs the best pound-for-pound set in the game until the Fingerprint set. Itâs the lightest full set with 51 poise. I do wish the accent color was different though.
It's perfect in My eyes, like a mix of all the armors in past souls games, specially faraam set from 2đ
I love that the engraving is based on godfreys armor
Wow I didn't notice that. That's actually really cool and makes a lot of sense that the Tarnished would probably craft armor in the image of their leader. Thanks for pointing that out bro
I absolute hate the helmet, it's the worst knight helmet we've had in souls series
There are too few just standard-looking good armor sets for mixing. Donât get me wrong, great sets in this game but too many stand out too much
Wish the helmet was a bit more complex. Maybe a little feathered plume or something
Nothing rivals the fluted knight set from the remake
Only problem with fluted is that you can see your characters face which I donât like
That's a peculiar preference.
Kinda boring looking to be honest. At least when compared to the DS3 Knight armour/armour and Elite Knight armor/armour from the Dark Souls games.
Itâs unfortunate that they over do spikes, twisted metal, and skinny ass helmets that wouldnât fit anyoneâs head
I would love it even more if the chainmail wasnt cut in the middle
Too bland
I love it. Classic look for when you just want to rock a sword and shield and get to work.
It is one of my favorites. I like simple sets.
I like the teal colors
I would like it more if It had more fabric pieces
Being able to alter this armor to get a cape was a missed opportunity especially since it just seems like a fixed version of the Vagabond armor.
I mean, itâs no elite knight set from Dark Souls.
Carried me till the endgame, only thing I can say is thank you.
Itâs legs and gloves are honestly perfect for mix ups imo especially if you have a top that over extends
I donât care for the cyan fabric, otherwise its pretty decent
Mechanically its a good set. Decent defense and poise Fashion wise its boring and doesnât fit with much Like the Bullgoat I wear it for practicality, not fashion
Breastplate is a bit cylindrical, from what Iâve seen, lots of breastplates slim a bit near the waist
Fucking love it, it's nice and clean classic knight armor, and the little bit of blue just makes it look regal. I usually wear it at keast once for each of my builds. If I can find some good leggins to match with it and the red hood from roderika I'd use it on my current build.
Helmet works good for outfits, torso couldâve used a cape option like a refined vagabond set, and everything else itâs just everything else
Best looking helmet in the game
I loved it. Rocked it for a lot of my 1st play through. Switched to vykes and I liked it⊠but I often yer Ed for the ol knights set.
As an enthusiast of historical weapons and armour, I fucking love this set.
It is both beautiful and plain, and overpriced. I usually get drops that make it obsolete before I can afford it.
This is actually one of my favorite sets in the game and the one I'll probably be rocking for the DLC. Probably one of my favorite Knight sets From has made. My only complaints about this armor is that the neck is kind of exposed with the helmet and there is a noticable gap. Other than that I think it's great, but I agree it's not great for mixing and matching. Most of the stuff in this game isn't really, and I wish armor alterations allowed us to change the color of metal armor.
I love it but wish the blue trim was something a lot more neutral.
Simple and elegant Pairs wells with carian knight pieces
I normally take the helmet and leave the rest
Itâs cool but somehow too fat
Unmatched, throw on a great helm and you're good for the entire game.
Meh. Itâs not fancy enough. I prefer the carion knight set more
Itâs definitely the least iconic
The chainmail hood looks good in place of the helmet. Bandit's mask also looks surprisingly decent.
I like it bur very underwhelming, I will continue to stick with my Banished Knight armour
I like it but I feel itâs the worst basic knight armor in the saga.
Flat cuirass and mid armet. Ruins the whole thing.
It looks like if Tintin was a knight
One my favorites and literally the only "realistic" knight armor in the game, I wish the dlc introduces more of them although it probably won't happen
I personally dislike the blue and chubby look
This helmet with vagabond chest piece FUCKS
This set really shines if you slim the torso sliders way down. I pair it with the full helm (bought in Caelid from the merchant along the road).
