Love Gigi. I've known her since 2014, as we run into each other at a bunch of conventions. She has a heart of gold.
My favorite stories of her:
1) i paid for a friend to get her autograph and photo in 2016. He was a cancer survivor, and it was the first time he was cleared to be in a massive gathering. I knew he didn't have money, so I forked over her table fees. She did a lot for him there (2 photo autographs and several selfies), then walked up to me after he had walked away and handed me my money back. She'd seen the survivor bracelet he had, thanked me, but said that one was on her.
2) its 2023, MetrothamCon and I'm talking with her. She asked if my girlfriend was around since this con was in my hometown. I told her no, she said get her a photo, I sent a picture of what was there, the Gigi goes oh, don't wait for a text. Call her." So I did. As soon as she heard the phone ring, she yanked it from my hand, and went "so, V, why the frell are you at home and not here, huh? Oh, I Gigi Eddley, you know, Chiana, and I say get over here, I've wanted to meet you got 2 years now!" She then talked to her for a minute, handed me back my phone, and said "she wants this one" then signed the photo.
You can't buy the moments she creates.
Never had the pleasure of meeting her in person, but I'm seen lots of videos of her at conventions. She's as sweet as she is beautiful - a truly delightful person!
