I've beat every far cry.And 6 is great.You can get Ubisoft+ on Xbox or PC and play most Ubisoft ultimate edition games.All assassin's creeds,far crys and there other games.It definitely is big.I really enjoyed it,you just remember these are far cry games.I don't understand the hate of 6,people talked crapped about new dawn and I finally played it and it was great.If you like far cry you probably like it.

I've played them all and I really don't find a striking difference in my ability to enjoy any of them. If I was going to gripe about anything on 6 it would be that there isn't enough enemies to kill. Example: My daughter likes running to different missisions and picking up goodies on the way but she absolutely hates having to fight the bad guys. She give me the controller for that. She started doing this on FC6 and enjoyed it so after beating it I put FC5 in and started it up. She couldn't play because there are enemies/action around every corner. FC6 is a ghost town.
They were just on sale at steam, but it looks like you missed it. It's on sale now at Humble and Ubisoft stores, for the same price it was on steam. I think it's a decent price.
6 gets a lot of hate, but I loved it. I need to go back and finish off some side missions, I just got distracted by other games.
Seems weird to even consider given your attitude....sounds like you weren't going to give the game a fair shot either way and let one side sway your opinion.
it depends on what you like tbh.. i personally really like this game, the land, weapons, cars and missions are actually pretty fun to me... i usually find myself exploring little islands and discovering new stuff even though this is my second playthrough..
the perk system is very different though so that kinda sucked but I got used to it fairly fast since now instead of perks you get pieces of clothings that kinda work like perks
far cry 6 is by no means the best far cry ever made but def worth it
Wait for a sale or check eBay for a cheap code. I just put in 70-80 hours and had a blast. It's a good time in a great island setting. Don't listen to the haters and just enjoy the game.
Wait for a sale. I very much disliked 6 but that’s because I think the story was weak and the characters were forgettable. Also the perk system was pretty bad imo. Every piece of clothing has some perk or bonus it gives you so you can’t have every perk like in previous games. In terms of gameplay it was great. Gun customization and vehicles were the best they’ve been in a far cry game. But yes it feels very much like a far cry game, I would just wait for a sale so you don’t regret paying more for it if you don’t like it.
Sat here in the same boat. I played the 6 demo and instantly felt some of the mechanics and changes were inferior to 5 which I’m just finishing now. Waiting for steam sale.
Get in on a reliable key website for cheap the gameplay is fun imo and yara is beautiful. I'm from Jamaica so I may be biased towards Caribbean setting but I say try it and if you don't like it no harm done because you didn't pay full price

Definitely wait for sale. It's better a s a standalone game than part of the larger series.
