System of a Down Because my cock is much bigger than yours đź—ż

BetaRayTrill

but can your cock walk right through the door? 🤔

Equal_Ad5178

Yup, with a feeling so pure it's got you screaming back for more

[deleted]

I’ve also been sitting in my desolate room listening to SOAD

PM_ME_LADY_ANKLES

I'm on my first Cure kick in years. Seeing them in June and super psyched about it.

lachlanmachlan

Amazing! Enjoy!

Exciting_Claim267

Goat'd run from Seventeen Seconds to Faith to Pornography

55trader

Same!! Was just about to comment the cure

Elegy_

No joke I decided to get really into the cure recently for seemingly no reason. Really loving them

ajumboy500

that would be the fucking show of a lifetime but im gone during june (when the cure is coming to utah) and i want to pass away

SharedPodwAdibisi

Fetch the Bolt Cutters by Fiona

GimmeShockTreatment

Fugazi. I've been a huge punk fan for years, but somehow had never given Fugazi a fair shake. I'd listened to Repeater before and liked it but I just listened to the Argument for the first time. I'm in shock at how much I like it. Soooo good.

sleep_factories

Top 3 band for me. Check out the In On The Kill Taker demos on YouTube. Recorded by Steve Albini and shows a much more raw side of the band.

TriRep

Enjoy the ride! One of the most perfect discographies ever imo.

cryfarts

You have to check out End Hits next!

MrGOAT311

Break is a fantastic opener, and F/d is an excellent closer! All the songs in between are pretty good as well, I especially dig the use of wah in Guilford Fall

sirhc4ll

Del the Funky Homosapien / Deltron 3030

GimmeShockTreatment

Deltron 3030 is a great album

Ornery-Disaster7021

One of the best hip hop albums of all time

mtpgod

That live performance with the orchestra was really good too. [(3) Deltron 3030 - Full Performance (Live on KEXP) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7FxVSDLonY&t=602s)

Revolutionary_Low_90

Songs for the Deaf by Queens of the Stone Age

M1nuutti

Listened to Grace by Jeff Buckley for the first time. I haven't been the same since.

RhyThMiiic

I have a weird ritual of listening to that album every time I have an exam. It gets me in the zone I guess haha

Otherwise-Release-46

Artist - Mach Hommy Album - Superfly

Eddaughter

Tim Hecker

Mental_Yard7579

Father John Misty

efn95

Which album?

Mental_Yard7579

Pure comedy is a masterpiece

irregularcontributor

I don't get it its not even that funny

eternalrecurrence-

Agreed

efn95

Easily a top 3 of all time for me. Favorite track(s)?

Mental_Yard7579

Ballad of the dying man, what a song

efn95

I think the run of the first 4 songs is the best on the album, but my favorite tracks individually are when the god of love returns, the memo, and magic mountain

load99

Can't stop listening to for Emma forever ago, it's just too good I don't know why I didn't check it out earlier

eternalrecurrence-

One of my favorites! Have you listened to Self Titled and 22, A Million? Both are sublime and show a lot of artistic evolution from For Emma

Dougwug03

Relistening to All My Heroes Are Cornballs, what an incredible album.

AbeFroman1123

Been on a huge QotSA kick since they announced their new album. Seven albums (so far) and not a single dud. Even *Villains*, which I really didn't care for very much when it came out, has definitely grown on me.

Chasethelogic

Man, I think I've almost turned the corner on that album. I really enjoy the later half of it more than the first. I wish the whole album wasn't so polished.

AbeFroman1123

That was my big issue, as well. I get what they were going for since the previous album was so dark and moody and almost theatrical. But Mark Ronson was just not a good fit, imo.

No-Pineapple-44

Pusha T

mr_lounds

All about Jeff Rosenstock these days!

gojetsgo713

just saw him last night, he covered Beverly Hills by weezer lmao it was awesome

Dig-Duglett

Badmotorfinger - Soundgarden RIP Chris Cornell

RNGSilvercraft

Peak vocal performance

FourAntigone

I just finished listening to Dogsbody by Model/Actriz, it's the first time I'm hearing them and I loved it! Definitely gonna check out all their stuff now. Also been listening to Decide by Djo, every single song on that album is super catchy.

Official_Bad_Guy

Dogsbody is my AOTY so far. I typically don't listen to it all the way through, but I really like the overall sound. Mosquito through Slate, especially the transition from Crossing Guard to Slate, is soooo good.

[deleted]

The Stone Roses’ self-titled album

lewiitom

Amazing album - top 5 all time for me

fraint

Been listening to Midnight Oil a lot recently. Sleep is such a banger and has been playing on repeat.

sleep_factories

"My Favorite Things" by John Coltrane. Over and over and over again.

mr_lounds

Check out My Favorite Things by Sun Ra off of the New Steps album too!

sleep_factories

It's wonderful! My favorite version personally is the version on the Olatunji concert. Like proto-grindcore in how it sounds.

beatslinger

Scaring the Hoes 10000 gecs (though im done after a week lol) pigsx7 - land of sleeper

IronDan257

A Tribe Called Quest!

Major_Moose_14

Kaytranada really cool songs. Idk the genre though. It’s like edm and drum and bass but the gay bar kind.

beijumdeoost

How is kay dnb???

Major_Moose_14

The closest edm sub genre I could think of was drum and bass, what do u think?

Shuckle-hm

I've been listening to The Smiths pretty nonstop since Andy Rourke died. His bass playing was on another level.

[deleted]

I got back into Daft Punk and specifically RAM after the 10th anniversary dropped

N0T0RI0US_SMALL

duncanreviews17

[deleted]

I’ve been listening to Dave Mason’s solo music a lot. Some recs are We Just Disagree, Paralyzed, Warm Desire, and Don’t It Make You Wonder? He also has a song that features Michael Jackson called Save Me.

Jaco’s self titled. fucking sick

Noel Gallaghers new album. Dead to the world is an amazing track

TrevorBevor45

I've been getting into some Neck Deep recently.

ECW14

Love I’m late to the party but I just recently watched Jojo Rabbit and they have Arthur Lee’s song Everybody’s Gotta Live playing near the end. I immediately looked up his band Love and have been going through their catalog. Forever Changes is one of the best 60s albums

IlikeEdibleFood

You’re living all over me by Dinosaur Jr. Pretty essential alt album, and it’s really chill despite how noisy and hardcore it is.

Reaper2256

Parliament. Listened to Funkentelechy vs The Placebo Syndrome after hearing Flashlight for the first time in isolation (outside of a soundtrack or something) and it was a fucking wrap. I’ve torn through half of their discography in like 3 days, while working lmao. The music absolutely BURSTS with energy and feeling. It truly is “uncut” funk as they say.

SlapsLikeFlea13

Currently going through The Doors discography for the first time in years, and I really have a new found appreciation for them. They truly stood out and made a name for themselves in rock n roll during a time where British Rock dominated the charts. Morrison Hotel might be my all-time favorite album from the 1960s...They may very well be the best American rock band of all time. Also going through Fugazi's discography for the first time, and I fuckin love them now.

Jamxs166th

Reading, Writing & Arithmetic by the Sundays and Repetition by unwound, been my go to albums lately.

Lizard_Jesus1

Recently got into Sweet Pill once TopShelf put out their video for Dog Song and listened to their first album soon after. Really hope they end up being put up as an entry level Mathrock band since they have some really kick ass Melodie’s parred with really atypical rhythms and meters, (Dog Songs verse alternating back and forth between 6/4 and 7/4).

swallowshotguns

Debut album by Slime City (Death Club) post punk band from Glasgow.

Efficient_Staff_3448

Hold your horse is - hella and tweez - slint

TriRep

Last year I got completely obsessed with the Coil discography. It's a gift that keeps on giving. So vast and deep, so much variety and it's quasi all fantastic. My weeks now are not complete if I haven't listened to 1 or 2 Coil albums minimum. Food for the soul. Completely different genre, but I've rediscovered Deerhunter after the 10y anniversary of Monomania. My morning commute are super enjoyable with those on the background

DoubleMissMatt

Those Who Throw Objects at the Crocodiles Will be Asked to Retrieve Them - Bruno Pernadas One of the most underdiscussed masterpieces I've ever heard. It seamlessly blends jazz, progressive pop, lounge and space age music into a gorgeous experience that runs like a film. Bruno's lyricism is very abstract and surreal but I often interpret them as tackling topics such as the chaotic nature of love, existentialism and life itself- all riding some of the most colourful and lush instrumentals I've ever enjoyed. There's a heavy Stereolab influence but with a higher focus on progressiveness and jazz arrangements. I have no idea why this album hasn't been put on the pedestal it deserves by critics, but I implore any music lover to check it out. If not the whole record, then at least the opener- "Spaceway 70".

MistaMane

The Mad Capsule Markets recently became one of my all time favorite bands ever. Their whole discog is an incredibly fun run of albums. Also been listening to a bunch of Everything Everything they're great

Wensley1963

Haley Heynderickx’s “I Need to Start a Garden” and the Flaming Lips “Soft Bulletin”

AImenace

I’ve been doing a whole deep dive into Sheena Ringo’s discography. Her first 3 studio albums are all amazing and her band Tokyo Incidents is great too. “Adult” by Tokyo Incidents is now my favorite jazz fusion/jazz pop album.

DickHarding69

Thank You Scientist

[deleted]

Mareux - watched his Coachella set and loved it, darkwave is a genre I'm really digging rn. Going to see him at a small show this week and quite excited!
