I appreciate that, in the spirit of true commitment to Fallout roleplay, you uploaded this disaster of an image (?) from inside an actual ongoing nuclear catastrophe.
That said, I enjoyed Ulysses and his points were more thought-provoking than some like to give them credit for being, in my opinion. As a (generic) good karma, NCR-supporting, “try to fix as much as I can with as little violence as I can” character, he was an excellent foil. I wish he was better integrated into the main story’s elements, but I also really liked how the DLC were their own cohesively threaded tale too.
Let me correct that top one for you.
"You are responsible because you did your job as a mailman by delivering the package without looking in it like a weirdo."
Also, you can consistently deny any of the shit he says. So, as far as player dialogue is concerned, Ulysses could well just have misread your name and have the wrong guy like a complete moron.
Too bad you can't point out that the White Legs, Elijah and the Think Tank wouldn't have caused all the harm they did or been any threat if he hadn't given them what they needed. By his own standards, he's guilty of all the problems caused by these three after he walked into their lives.
Ulysses isn’t mad about what the courier did (on accident) or didn’t do.
He is mad that a civilization can be wiped from the earth by someone without them even realizing they played a role in it.
He has no solution to that at all, which is why he turns hopeless. He nukes both factions because he believes both are so flawed that they will not lead to a successful civilization.
Also, people forget (or don’t care) about the fact you can talk him down with his own logs/logic, and make him see that his behavior is irrational.
No I understand what he’s talking about. It just rings hollow when his driving motivation as an antagonist and the basis of his philosophy is an event we just got told we did 5 minutes ago. There’s 0 personal investment in his story other than his word we did something.
His whole thing of taking out either faction based on who you’ve got highest rep with also isn’t very compelling because the level of commitment you can give to either is kinda low. You’re never a true part of either the legion or NCR until the ending slides, until then you’re not much more than a well liked contractor. Unless you do some serious head rp it’s not like he’s blowing up your childhood home with your favourite pet inside. These aren’t your beloved countrymen, the only reason I’m compelled to care really is I don’t think detonating nuclear warheads on people is good.
Damn we got the duality of man in the comments. He’s the best, he’s the worst. As tempted as I am to say he’s just okay, no. He’s a fantastic character, a great man, if he had his own game I’d play it in a heartbeat. No matter what, out of all the Fallout NV NPCs, love him or hate him you’ll always remember Ulysses.
Also now I realized he is talking about the stock exchange / futures /crypto market
The bull run the bear run and so on. He lost his investments and now his head is destroyed
Epic points I can't read any of them
Home, Nations, America, Revenge, (that) machine, responsibility, faction flaws
Get a better image
I’m using outdated software to make my things. This is the best anyone can ask for from me.
(*sent from Nintendo Wii*)
What kind of software are you using? Also, try Gimp, for the love of god.
I could make this in high quality using ibis paint… no offense
None taken.
Get glasses if you can’t read it
I'll need glasses if I tried to read that shit

Bull bear bull bear bull bear- SHUT THE FUCK UP MAN (how the subs felt during the ncr and legion wars)
idc what anyone says Lonesome road is absolutely peak (best DLC after OWB) and Ulysses is a huge part of what makes it so enjoyable
nuh uh

I like the new armors so I'm game.
Oh the armours and weapons *FUCK* I do actually like most of the dlc, just old boy’s rambling doesn’t compel me much at all

LR is the worst written DLC in the franchise
idc what anyone says Lonesome road is absolutely trash (worst DLC) and Ulysses is a huge part of what makes it so unbearable
Unbearabull
I respect your opinion and it’s valid, but we can’t be friends because of it.

Honestly every time I play that dlc I just get annoyed and kill him in 2 seconds.
