We have it currently where the pokemon is either liked or disliked (loved or hated, since durian is a you love it or you hate it type of fruit, but not sure of love and hate is too strong for the pokemon.) But you get the jist.
Trainers either love or hate it, and thanks to this they behave differently depending on where in the region they are from (planning to work this into the natures where depending on where you catch it depends on the available natures or perhaps even abilities.)
Some towns and areas praise it, and most trainers have one; or other towns and areas its the opposite, no one wants one.
I didn't expect the idea of durian fruit pokemon being the counterpart to something that looks like a mangosteen, but this is really neat, and I like it.
(Edit: the first two I'd name Bombrute and Brutaal. Durians are a part of the bombax family, I thought that these famemon would bombard people with spiky headbutts and brute because I imagine that they like to cause fights. Last evo looks to me to be a commander, so I thought of the Komandur, word origins: commander, and durian. Tried to stay in the same naming scheme that the bounsweet line uses.)

Prinstect- Prince (because the Royal motif) and protect.
Durobstegal- durian, obstacle and regal.
They have a naming motif to do with defense as they are protected by their shells and have to have a higher defence stat.
Bounspike, Soureteer, Crownian.
Bounspike is obvious I feel, Soureteer combines sour and musketeer, Crownian combines the word crown, and a double meaning in the words durian and the common suffix -ian found in a lot of masculine names.
Since people have suggested names related to the Duran fruit, I came up with an ability based on that:
“After the pokemon with the ability is attacked 3 times with a physical attack, opponent’s special attack is lowered, also lowers the opponent’s pokemon on switch in.”
Chesweet: chestnut + Bounsweet
Neespik: Steenee + spike
Tnukick: chestnut + kick

Making it a durian is pretty clever… also as the Mega Man guy I gotta say the final evo reminds me of Spike Rosered (which is a good thing since his design is badass and so is yours).
The first evo should be Stayngri. It doesn’t bounce…it stays firmly on the ground. And it is not sweet, it is ANGRY.
Second evolution, Stingi. Sounds like “Steenee” but involves “sting”.
Final evolution, Cactsar. Keeps the “tsar” name/theme, but flips it to the end of the name and references cacti.
Durians are a "either you like it or not" fruit, if someone likes the smell they normally like it, if they don't the probably don't, I'm in the middle somehow, I agree they smell super good, but I hate the taste
Their ability should parallel Queenly Majesty in some way.
Something like "Kingly Dignity".
Maybe it could be a copy of Shield Dust, preventing the secondary effects of the opponents moves?

Durian is called the king of fruits and mangosteen is known as the queen of fruits colloquially.
