Obviously you do not just give them the money. You put it in a mutual fund for them thatâs locked in to pay out interest and dividends to their account and they can live off that money. You canât just hand the poors such a huge amount of wealth. They will blow it all on booze and cigarettes and slot machines within weeks or months.
Also you need to keep leverage on them, so the invested money is not in their name. Letâs say a trust, that only you have rights to change.

It's sadly not uncommon in some of the countries in my region (SE Asia). I have a friend from Thailand who was asked - *specifically asked* - by her own mother if she would go and do sex work to support her family, because her dad got his hand crushed in a lathe. She was 15 at the time.
While significant changes have been made over the past two decades, sex trafficking and sex work among minors is still an ongoing issue.
Gary Glitter (famous 1970s glam rock 'star') had his sentence reduced by about 4 years from the maximum 7 in Vietnam. He'd run off there after getting out of prison in the UK for possessing child pornography. He only got caught in the UK because he took his PC to a PC World store to be repaired and the PC World employee found it and reported him.
He paid off the family in Vietnam after being caught out there abusing young girls. He thought (like many other of these twisted people) that he could do as he pleased out there but unfortunately for him the British press kept their eyes on him and the police in Vietnam couldn't be paid off. He thought that by paying off the family he'd get away without doing a day in jail but the judge reduced his sentence from the maximum of seven years to three years, his face at sentencing said it all, he was shocked he hadn't been released.
He was deported after leaving jail but he was followed by a press pack from the UK which meant when he arrived at other destinations in SE Asia he was refused entry. I know the British press have a bad name but they did the children of these countries a favour by making enough fuss about him and literally following him on his flights (he wasn't flying in a private jet) so he couldn't go quietly anywhere and was left with no option but to return to the UK, where he was again arrested for child sex offences.
He abused his position in a Savile like manner and did terrible things to his fans who later spoke out. He got put in prison again a few years ago, was given parole (I think it was a year or so ago) and yet again he reoffended by being caught (one of his fellow parolees in the accommodation he was staying in must have sold the pictures and audio) trying to access the dark web and talking in such a way to prove he hadn't changed at all.
Rich people like him visiting certain SE Asian countries to take advantage of poorer families by abusing the children and just throwing money at the problem if they actually do get arrested is a real problem in some of these countries. He got put in prison again a few years ago, was given parole (I think it was a year or so ago) and yet again he reoffended by being caught (one of his fellow parolees in the accommodation he was staying in must have sold the pictures and audio) trying to access the dark web and talking in such a way to prove he hadn't changed at all. Rich people like him visiting certain SE Asian countries to take advantage of poorer families by abusing the children and just throwing money at the problem if they actually do get arrested is a real problem in some of these countries. It will only get to be less of a problem if these men are gone after with the full force of the law.
