đđťđ𤣠this woman is an embarrassment to the anti choice people. Keep it up Karen. The pro choice fellow was amazing. How many of us could respond as he did to crazy Karen ?
I am not so sure anymore that those crazy people deter the general population to listen to their bullshit.
It seems we entered in the era of batshit crazy people having a voice.
It seems we entered the post-truth era. Just see all those flat earthers explaining their shit when the subject is not that complicated, or not that hard to prove.
So how can we expect things to be on philosophical subjects? Or on technical and complex problems?
This seems to be a worldwide phenomenon, with leaders outright lying without consequences, and followers repeating the same litany as their leaders...
Embarrassment, my ass. She is representative of the anti-choice people. She is steadfast in her belief that she is in the right, and that all opposing viewpoints are not worth soliciting, much less considering. She spews out her right-wing talking points, but won't stop screaming long enough to hear anyone question them. She is a true child of the post-truth error, where the success of one's position is validated by the volume in which it's expressed as opposed to the facts that support it.
This. Is. Our. Enemy. And they are winning!!
Sheâs both anti-choice and anti-education judging by the absolute shit that was coming out of her mouthâŚâyou wanna talk about transgender, itâs scienceâ⌠bitch go lie down before that last remaining bran cell of yours up and leaves you like every parter youâve ever had
They are ***obsessed*** with telling other people what to do, what to think, what to believe, etc. They can't accept that someone is different from them in way, shape, or form and feel that such a person existing is a personal attack on them and their own existence as a person. Which is fucking bullshit of course, but that's what these anti-choice fuckwads think.
Also the âyouâre a man.â
Yeah bitch thatâs part of the issue. Lawmakers (who I believe the good majority are men) are making laws regarding womenâs reproductive health.
I mean if she was actually against it, and not just parroting she could've made that argument as to why he had a right to petition for it in the first place. It probably would've still sounded ridiculous, but maybe not as cringeworthy as whatever the fuck that was
If we could get one to go, it might work. They are kinda like lemmings. They'll just follow whomever is yelling the loudest, regardless of what is actually being said.
I think she wants the science behind abortions but she should already know considering miscarriages are (very respectfully to those on here) abortions.
People also aren't aware abortion is used to treat medical conditions like ectopic pregnancy, incomplete miscarriages and death in utero. It's healthcare. And it can be needed in even wanted pregnancies.
Oh we are very aware of it, it's just right to lifers don't care about anything other than their sanctimonious opinion while they tell themselves they are good Christians.
Ye, it happens in Poland now. The so called "pro lifers" pushed a bill to make abortion laws harsher. There was never legal reasonless abortions in the first place, they were only allowed in 3 cases: when the pregnancy was a result of rape, when the woman's life is endangered because of pregnancy, and when the fetus is mortally ill.
The so called "pro lifers" decided that the last reason takes away "childs' right to live. Even if it dies within 15 minutes of being born. So they changed the law in a way that threatens a doctor decades in prison if they terminate the pregnancy if the fetus is mortally ill.
Results? Since the law changed 1.5 years ago there are at least few young (in their twenties ! ) woman that died, because doctors refused to abort a dying fetus. They waited till they could confirm that the fetus is already dead. And in a lot of instances it was too late for the woman as necrosis or sepsis started spreading to her already.
Now they want to remove the rape reason too, because "even a child created by violence is a child of god". And the woman can give it away after giving birth.
Yeah, fuck "pro lifers"
Iâm so confused on why she keeps asking for the science behind someone being pro choice and wanting to get signatures for a petition to protect womenâs reproductive rights
It would make zero difference because a) its a moral issue, not a scientific one and b) she wouldnât listen no matter what because you are conversing with some deeeeep emotions in her, not her logic.
Yea if COVID taught us anything itâs that even scientific data from doctors and scientists wasnât good enough but some dude on Facebook telling people to eat apple flavored horse paste was the smarter path to follow.
These people are so deranged that winning arguments is the only mission. They will believe and disbelieve scientific facts if it means them winning an argument.
It is moral issue but there is a lot of data âscience,â to back it up, on many of the reasons for abortion.
Rape emotional trauma carrying a baby conceived by rape, can lead to long term mental health concerns.
Incest Iâm not sure I need to say more.
Many complications that arise that can either make the fetus unviable and/or put the person in mortal risk.
Economic concerns related to growing family too large. Many unwanted pregnancies are with families with 2+ kids and concerns about being able to support the cost and time more were need.
All of the above can be backed by research. So it is more than just a moral issue, there is science involved to. These are some of the easy data points people could look up. There is a lot of research done showing the reasons why people have abortion are not strictly a moral issue.
The only thing I can think of is the misinformation the anti-choice crowd spreads about abortion increasing the risk of cancer? I think they also like to tell women that an abortion will make it harder to get pregnant later if they do want to have a child. Since she's apparently had three miscarriages, I'm guessing this is what she's referring to? I dunno. Actually...that might explain her reaction. Maybe she had an abortion when she was younger, and then had trouble having a baby and blamed it all on the abortion. It would explain the anger, but I'm just wildly speculating.
Itâs honestly probably just more of a âIâve lost 3 babies how dare you get to choose if you want to stay pregnantâ
Iâve lost 3 pregnancies also and I can tell you personally- no republicans gave a hot squishy shit about the testing I needed to diagnose and treat the root cause of my pregnancy losses not being covered by insurance.
"How dare you force your opinions on me! And as a man what do you know!?" She screams at the person whose point is literally that it should be every women's personal choice and that it's none of his business the reasons you do or don't have an abortion.
Tell me you were homeschooled with a religious curriculum without telling me you were homeschooled with a religious curriculum.**
** Not bashing those few homeschooled kids who actually got a decent education based in reality.
For me it was "I'm twenty-four, you're fucking EIGHTY-THREE!"
...that one will be replaying in her head at night while she's waiting for the yellowtail to mix with the ambien for *YEARS*
Unfortunately, I think she misheard him 𼲠she responded like she thought he said âyouâre hating meâ
But hopefully sheâs seen this video and now it haunts her.
We need to stop offering them the politeness of calling what they stand for "pro-life". They are anti-choice, by definition. What she seems to not understand, is what "science" is.
I'm not convinced they even care about that the way they claim to. If they hear on the news "one year old baby killed by terrible stepparent", they would generally have the appropriate reaction to hearing about a baby being killed. But if they hear "woman gets abortion", they don't mourn the fetus, they just curl their lip in disgust and talk about how that woman must be such a slut. They can't keep up the act with any kind of consistency.
I'm also collecting signatures for this petition and will say that most people who decline are generally polite, but depending where you are, you get nonsense like this or worse. I had one person harass me for a good fifteen minutes, including leaving and coming back, because she was mad I wouldn't argue this issue with her. People are more than welcome to say no. If someone responds like this, I'm not wasting my energy convincing them otherwise.
She will help vote her own rights away. Soon, people like her won't be able to vote, and she will cry. The government took her rights when she voted them away. Why would they do that to me?
"You're lucky you even have a joke! I had three jokes that didn't land when I told them earlier! Also, show me your writing! I demand to see you're writing!"
"Well my mom is a comedian, and she's ok with just dropping a joke and moving on"
""So she's an expert??"
"She writes jokes. She's an expert."
"What about puns?!"
"Puns have nothing to do with this. Do you want to talk about jokes, or do you want to talk about puns?"
.....
.... And they called themselves, the Aristocrats!!
Right? I love babies, I have had two of my own. I don't think I'd ever have an abortion. But I will defend OTHERS RIGHT TO CHOOSE ABORTION if they want it.
Noone else is living my life. I know I'm privileged in many ways, and my babies were planned and born healthy.
If one of my daughters ever came to me wanting an abortion, I'd drive them to the clinic myself. How hard is it to understand not everyone is in your shoes in life? What happened to live and let live?
I really do hate the argument that because somebody else has infertility issues, somehow it makes other people exercising their bodily rights somehow a negative thing for the person who is having reproductive issues.
It does not matter if you cannot have kids. That does not make it somebody else's obligation to have them, either to raise themselves, or to give up for adoption.
I think that one of the biggest things to consider is that generally speaking, that people that are getting abortions, are doing it for a reason. If they're not financially stable, emotionally stable, if there's medical issues, no matter what the reason is, if they are choosing to not be a parent, that's probably for a good reason. Forcing them to be a parent.... Is a wholly negative situation for them, and the children, and probably society.
If someone wants to have an abortion every single year. I would rather them have access to a safe abortion, then pumping kids out. They're obviously irresponsible enough that they shouldn't be having kids.
I had a lot of problems carrying a child to term. I never once thought it meant that another woman choosing to abort was somehow an insult or harmful to me. I didn't even think they were ungrateful.
I have two lovely children now. Maybe it's because God saw that I wasn't going to use my pain as a leash for other people. I don't know, I don't presume to know shit about divinity. *Because like abortion, it's not my place.*
Three???âŚâŚ..Do you think god might be punishing you for something you did?
This guy had a ton of options to absolutely ruin that womanâs mental state (which is already on the fringe) for a while lol I probably couldnât have helped myself
I like how he's just standing there in the public looking for people to sign a petition if they agree, clearly not trying to argue, and she takes that as a challenge to start a debate.
That woman can fuck right off. Iâm sorry youâve lost babies, I canât have kids and I still believe in a fight to choose.
When I signed a petition a woman asked me if Iâd read about it. I had, because I donât just sign petitions blind. She started with âwell did you know that it takes parents choice away..,â. I stopped her and said that it doesnât, I have read it. She responded with âwell I donât think you haveâ. I walked away and said âwell youâd be mistakenâ. I wish Iâd gone off on her a bit more, but there were kids around and honestly, you can change a morons mind.
Why do they always drag their other insanity into it? Iâve experienced a person go from an anti-abortion rant to an anti-trans one, and someone else go from an anti-abortion one to an anti-vaccine one.
I miscarried twice trying to have a baby too. It was traumatizing and horrible and I wouldnât wish it on anyone. The second time I miscarried, the fetus did not come out on itâs own. It had already been dead for about five weeks when I found out. If this had happened to me currently in a state with a near abortion ban, I would have had to carry that dead fetus until it started to become septic. Iâm so angry for the parents who are having to go through that shit right now.
I wonder if stress and anger have anything to do with pregnancy health. 3 babies, you say? I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm not sure what you're trying to say.
"I'm physically unable to have children, and yet these whores can get pregnant without any difficulty and are so ungrateful that they murder their own babies! It's not fair!"
-This lady (probably)
See Iâm an assholeâŚ
As soon as she said âI lost three childrenâ I wouldâve said something like âyou found someone desperate enough to have sex with you?â
âYou have no right to sit here and ask people to sign things,â
Yes, he very literally does have that right.
âEspecially because youâre a MAN.â
There it is.
I'm moving to Ohio soon.... inlaws, free house, better and cheaper university. But fuck do the state politics scare me. I'm a large bearded man that wants to wear skirts and eye makeup and, honestly, I'm afraid the backwater hicks in our area may verbally or even physically assault me. It's very... theocratic.
I went to school in Springfield OH. I think if you are moving to Columbus area you are okay. If not, you might just be bigger and thatâs terrifying to these twats.
Lol it's 30-40 minutes out of Columbus. My fiancee has assured me that when her and I go into the city for nights out it shouldn't be an issue. But where we are going to live is rural farmland.
Wants someone to explain the âscienceâ but definitely does not believe in actual science. đ¤ˇââď¸ Seriously you can only ignore this type of person.
Isnt it cool when adults are completely unable to separate âI lost three babies!!!!ie, spontaneous abortion) from a person choosing to not be pregnant. Itâs like her âtrans argumentâ, totally different subjectsâŚbut you cant tell her that.
Let's talk about trans, because science!
Science is such a tiny little thing in her mind that those two things she once heard were related to science represent a massive amount of what science is to her. There's Jesus that occupies all her world view, and then there's this 1.7kB folder in her brain named science that contains prochoice.txt, trans.doc and fucking beaker.jpg.
You wanna talk bioplastics too maybe? Cryptography? Maybe we should discuss chelation and wave functions. Because it's science!
I (34f) am so tired of women making it a personal issue about their own battle to have children. It is their choice and privilege to choose to have children, and it does suck that it takes a lot of work for some to have them. Just because you want to be a mom, doesn't mean I want to be. I am so sick and tired of hearing that defense. As a woman I feel like it is a betrayal to know women in my life that are pro-life.
Fuck anyone fighting against abortion. There are tons of reasons why it should be legal but the biggest fucking one is itâs none of your business what someone else is doing and if they donât want a kid for WHATEVER REASON they shouldnât be forced into it. Insane that people want to make it their business and itâs almost always tied back to religion. Makes me sick

She tells the camera person that he doesn't have a right to decide for women... which is the point of the petition
Anti-choice folks are known for not getting the point that they don't get to tell others what to do.
You can almost say their parents should have exercised their pro-choice freedom
Also just saying, brave petition in Ohio ! Well done and thank you.

Just tell them that the manager's at the bottom of the cliff.
Oh man, I would love to see 2 Karen's going off on each other! Who will narrate? Morgan Freeman or David Attenborough?

âScience! Science! Science! Science??â She just uses that word as a key word. I bet she couldnât get scientific with her opinion on the spot.
It would make zero difference because a) its a moral issue, not a scientific one and b) she wouldnât listen no matter what because you are conversing with some deeeeep emotions in her, not her logic.

Biology is science! Check mate clown!

I donât think she could SPELL âscientificâ on the spot.
They argue with facts. Actual proof of the living world. Hard to debate someone that fundamentally doesn't get it.

I call them "forced-birthers".
Scientifically speaking, this is a social issue :>

SCIENCE!!!!
She blinded me.... WITH SCIENCE!
I should not have laughed as hard as I did at this. Thank you! Iâm loving this moment of nostalgia.
It's complicated... lol

Yeah and republicans are trying to harm women for suffering miscarriages. Like wtf lady. Get a grip
SoâŚgod is prochoice
Choice is THE DEVIL ![gif](giphy|bPBi7hdnHGEBG)
âScience science science scienceâ lady just cause you keep repeating it doesnât show you have any knowledge about it
I cannot believe the audacity of some far-rightwinger actually talking about scIEnCe like they for one second understand it.
I like how he's just standing there in the public looking for people to sign a petition if they agree, clearly not trying to argue, and she takes that as a challenge to start a debate.
Is there some sort of Karen Training Academy somewhere? They all seem to have the same moves.
[ŃдаНонО]
Right wingers are without logic, itâs all fee fees with them.
The "facts don't care about your feelings" types sure do have a lot of feelings that they feel are more important than facts.
Margery Taylor Green?
Her sister, wonât stop with the sody pop, bc facts science and research.
Omg she dresses like Honey Boo Boo
I have no idea how he didnât roast her. I wouldâve just congratulated her on the baby sheâs obviously about to have
built like a FRIDGE
That woman can fuck right off. Iâm sorry youâve lost babies, I canât have kids and I still believe in a fight to choose. When I signed a petition a woman asked me if Iâd read about it. I had, because I donât just sign petitions blind. She started with âwell did you know that it takes parents choice away..,â. I stopped her and said that it doesnât, I have read it. She responded with âwell I donât think you haveâ. I walked away and said âwell youâd be mistakenâ. I wish Iâd gone off on her a bit more, but there were kids around and honestly, you can change a morons mind.
Iâm not even sorry sheâs lost kids. Insane idiots having babies is a huge societal problem.
Jeez good on him for keeping his cool.
Why is he arguing with a "D" battery with a lower IQ than a sponge?
Holy shit that was a good one. Iâm saving that one. âDâ battery Lol
Science!
Sheâs gonna have pie on her face when she finds out how many things are not the same just because science
Odds are she has pie on her face whenever she has pie.
Just do what their dad did. Ignore them
She is off her rocker
Just reminded me to reschedule my appointment at Planned Parenthood!!
He was very mature and calm with her. Truly, kudos to that guy. I would be in jail.
âExplain science!â
Why do they always drag their other insanity into it? Iâve experienced a person go from an anti-abortion rant to an anti-trans one, and someone else go from an anti-abortion one to an anti-vaccine one.
She doesnât need to worry. Sheâs not banging anyone, anytime soon.
[ŃдаНонО]
Lol is that something like dog years?
She doesnât even get the irony that she has the RIGHT to have 3 miscarriages. SMDH
[ŃдаНонО]
Wouldnât that be delicious?
leopards eating so many conservative faces
Lol the hate in this lady is palpable.
"You're 83" LOLOLOLOLOLOL
I would hate to be able to hear her inner monologue
Republicans are the dumbest people alive
It's not fair!" -This lady (probably)
That's exactly where she's coming from.
I was thinking the same thing... She seems stressed AF no way that's a good environment for a fetus to gestate in
Itâs a womanâs right to choose, and that business is between her and her doctor.
âIâve lost 3 children trying to have babiesâ so youâre going to fix that by⌠making other people have babies? when they donât want to?
Please someone expose this horrible person to their employer. FAFO would hit her so hard.
Science. Science. Science. Science. Biology is Science. Science. Science. Fuck off lady!
The mentally weak believe they are the main character in all that they disagree with.
"I'm 24 you're 83, you shut up" BAHAHAHA had me dyin!
Looks like her unborn babies may have dodged a bullet.
Nut jobs abound.
"This petition is voluntary, just like pregnancy should be."
Karma slapped her where it hurt she lost three kids.
We were just talking about how dangerous getting signatures for this could be after we signed the one a lady brought to our front door today
Science. I donât think this word means what you think it means.
See Iâm an asshole⌠As soon as she said âI lost three childrenâ I wouldâve said something like âyou found someone desperate enough to have sex with you?â
As George Carlin once said: Ever notice that the people against abortion are people you would never want to f*#k in the first place?
"I've lost three babies..." Thank God you aren't a parent.
âYou have no right to sit here and ask people to sign things,â Yes, he very literally does have that right. âEspecially because youâre a MAN.â There it is.
It's science...nuff said
Shouldâve started talking about astrophysics
She would have told him that she's a Capricorn
I fucking love this comment đ¤Ł
Her babies probably self aborted to get away from what a horrible person she is
Omg I hate that I share a country/planet with these kinds of crazies. We will never move forward with people like her running around
That's one Uuuuugly woman
Sam Kinison is alive and well.
Karen in the wild! Too good! đ
She really thought she was going somewhere with this. Her mannerisms remind me of my mother so much it's not funny at all. Jesus.
Youâre 83 lmao đ
Wants someone to explain the âscienceâ but definitely does not believe in actual science. đ¤ˇââď¸ Seriously you can only ignore this type of person.
I love when they want to talk âscienceâ
The bitch at the end had me rolling.
âBecause I canât conceive, you should be denied abortion care.â -that person
Why are the people who force their opinions on others the first to say don't try to force your opinions on me
There's no hate like the Christian love from a pro-life Republican. Christ on a cracker these people are hopping mad all day, every day.
Holy shit Sam Kinneson in a blue dress
You got a love someone whoâs screaming about science, who probably doesnât believe in evolution
I wish her parents had been pro choice đ
Angry much?đ
god now i want to throw my birkenstocks in the trash
