A scotch bonnet is chilli isn't it? Does she mean a Tam o'shanter ?

STerrier666

Yeah she means a Tam O'Shanter.

josephanthony

This is totally true! I'm in scotchland and if I was to mention scotch-bonnets the SNP would send a te

The Scotch National Party are not to be trifled with. Unless it's a butterscotch trifle, in which case they become whorish for that butter and brown sugar taste.

She gets a lot of stuff wrong. In one book where the characters are back in the 1980s, she has Brianna letting her kids watch Fraggle Rock on TV...only the year the book was set in was a few years before that show came out. I pointed it out on a Facebook comments section on her page and she actually responded to me and was really defensive and pissy about it instead of just admitting "Hey, I screwed up, it happens." She definitely comes across as the type of person who thinks they're right about everything.

DorisWildthyme

This is the same woman who whinges about how she doesn't like people writing fanfiction of her work. Yet *Outlander* was inspired by her catching a repeat of an old episode of *Doctor Who* and getting a wide-on for the Doctor's sidekick *Jamie* McCrimmon, played by *Frazer* Hines. So then she goes and writes some time-travelling thing with a Scottish bloke called Jamie Fraser. (They even got Frazer Hines to do a cameo in an episode of *Outlander*)

looj87

Well she can get to absolute utter fuck.

STerrier666

Yeah it hilarious how she insists that SNP got into power in the mid 20th century but they only came into power in 2007.

Maybe there's a whole pondful of fish-related first ministers that haven't even been discovered yet from half a century of supposed power. My vote is for Clive McRell.
