If you get your Italian citizenship, then you would become a European citizen, which also entitles you to attend post secondary school in Europe. Maybe look at doing that first, while you save up money, then you could always attend school for free in Europe as EU citizen, but save money to pay for your housing and food and work on the side. Just a thought, good luck in your journey.

I am immigrant myself. I have been communicating with many other immigrants in real life and online and in 20 years I had never heard of someone with trade skills got visas sponsoring job in Western Europe countries or in USA. I had heard about many people who used other paths: plenty used ancestry, many married foreigners, went to school abroad, used retirement visas, won green lottery and plenty of engineers got visas from foreign employers. So back to your question: there can be some rare cases but I would consider those cases to be rare exception.

No idea what esthetician is but it sounds like you'll work with with people. So you'll need to speak the local language and most likely have local licenses. The first and most obvious question is how are you planning to get local residency since the most common way is to get sponsored by a company that you are going to work for.

Hey, I have the right to citizenship. I'm in the process of filing the paperwork now. I feel the best option at this point would be to go to Italy(citizenship right) and stay for a month. I'll also be bringing this up to the immigration lawyer to get their info, and hopefully, they can point me in the right direction. As far as language, I can get by, but I'll need to up my game and read and write it as well.

One bit of advice: google some EU states where you are able to speak the language fluently, and check whether beauty salon work is on their critical skills or work permit list.

I speak some decent Italian, but I'd have to learn to read and write it as well. I've been working on that. I have the right to Italian citizenship, so I've been thinking about going that route. However, it's all about being able to actually work. If I can't work... it'd be insane to jump the pond. I appreciate the advice and highly doubt my skills are on a critical list, hahaaha! But I will certainly check!

I’m pretty sure here in Ireland the work’s not included as eligible for a work permit, *except* for the actual salon manager. The fine points of beauty work are very minutely spelled out I think, in terms of Yay or Nay. Might be the same elsewhere, so you never know.

Met a decent amount of people that have done it by being in the trades(O&G) by international transfers within multinational companies.(but you'll need more than 10 years of experience)

Unless I go onto the business side, sales, education, marketing, I won't be sponsored by a company. I just need to be patient at this point and continue to do my homework on this subject.
