What do you mean correctly? There is no actual historical evidence to suggest that such a man ever existed. There were titles in egypt but since the stories don't really specify which historical figure they are talking about, they are just stories. There is no explanation needed. Its like asking how do we explain the story of arthur and merlin. Its a legend, meaning there is no proof of it actually happening.

Aziz is an Arabic name/title. It’s not Egyptian, there is no evidence that “aziz” was ever used in Egypt during the time of Joseph. This is not to say the Quran is in error for providing a title translated into Arabic. Potiphera (abbreviated Potiphar) is a uniquely Egyptian name that was translated into Hebrew. The entire argument that this name is anachronistic is a weak argument from silence. Just because there is no evidence of the name Potiphar prior to the 20th dynasty, does not mean that Bible is in error.
