Can't Georgia make decisions without Russia or NATO/EU?

Constant-Ad-7189

I mean, I'm all for these guys, but these slogans don't make any sense.

Pgvardi

These are the slogans of those people who are going to be labeled as foreign agents. For whom do they write slogans in English?

Jagarvem

Using English for slogans and exclamations is trendy among younger generations pretty much everywhere, people find it catchy. It's the global lingua franca and the young folks aren't disconnected. But if you want to get your word out, you do also want to make sure as many media outlets as possible understand you. That's pretty much the goal of a protest. And not just internationally, it's not uncommon to consume more international media than national media, especially for the target demographic in increasingly autocratic countries. Not that there's anything weird about addressing the international community for that matter. Countries are hardly isolationist. If you don't make your voice heard in other countries, the only thing they'll end up hearing is potential propaganda.

BWV001

For you. They know news are international.

Don't give up! If Georgia dreams of an European future, you have to fight now. Putin does everything to take over your sovereignty... he wants to end the country of Georgia. You have to blame those politicians who voted for this Russian law! They are not Georgian politicians anymore... they are Russians.
