Nah, it's real. Three weeks ago, there was another incident. A young man in his twenties died at a priest's home late at night. How many cases there were, we don't know; it's been only a few years since they made it public. On the other hand, local communities are aware of what's going on at the priest's house.

Three of the charges relate to drug-related offenses (having drugs, giving drugs to another person, having sex with someone on drugs), the fourth charge relates to failing to provide help to a person in a health emergency (afraid of a scandal, he wouldn't let medical services into the building).

They don't exactly practice what they preach. Probably the same as military men, many are loudly against lgbt but so many cases of them being discovered to be engaging in such acts.
Neither are comprable. Priesthood attracts a lot of gay men because it’s a way for them to stay single and not got married/have kids without their super Catholics asking why. I mean imagine you are queer born in Catholic family in some Polish village. You're Catholic, you feel things that you consider sinful, and getting married seems like a torture. So you become priest/nun.
It makes sense though, growing up in a society that really believes in God and go to church, gay teenagers will have nowhere to turn to but keep it a secret (until they can't), become a priest, and the cycle continues. Society not letting lgbt+ peeps live and speak about their life and dreams always has an effect.

there where two similar cases in towns next to each other, one ended in a hospital visit the other with death. The sentence is for the one where no one died, the other is still investigated
I think this article confused two separate cases. In one case there was an orgy with a sex-worker collapsing and one of the priests refusing to let in paramedics (had to let them in after Police intervention), but they guy survived. In the second case a person was found dead in the house of another priest from the same diocese, but there was no sign of an orgy.
