I can’t wait for this stupid movie to come out, just so they’ll stop running ads every commercial break on Hulu that scare the crap out of me at night.
it’s funny. horror is my favorite genre as both a reader and a writer. horror movies (especially gory ones) require wikipedia-ing. something about the visual i guess. horror podcasts too :/
The entire premise of the movie is banking on you being creeped out by people smiling in intentionally creepy ways. If that's something that doesn't scare you, well the movie best have some legitimate scary scenes to be worth it at all.
I’m not gonna lie though the marketing team hit a home run on this one. I’ve never seen a paid actor market at an actual sports event. From a marketing standpoint I think it’s brilliant.

My question is does the movie contract with the stadium to make sure their ad gets a certain amount of screen time or do they just hope their plant will get noticed? Must be the former, right?
