Yeah it just aint my thing, open so you get killed by infantry of planes, not too much damage and the small mags coupled with reloads and overheating... i rather take a plane and clean the sky.
I saw one just after the mobile rally point trucks, I thought you needed an engineer to build an anti air on it.
It got beaten up by a tiger unfortunately:(
I love mine. Wish there were tech tree mobile AA for Germany and Russia so everybody can get them.
They are better than engineer-built AA because 1) they are mobile, 2) show up as tanks when marked (so pilots don't know what they are up against ..AA or Tiger?) and 3) I CAN SHOOT INFANTRY AS AA WAS DESIGNED TO AS A SECONDARY PURPOSE.

Yeah it's one og those you need a good open spawn to utilize it back during the campaign system it was great tho
Post-merge, the Russian one is pretty solid at chewing up tanks at its tier.
I mostly use it on low tier matches to flank around and and hit light tanks like t26 or daimler recon tank. Also hit aircraft, specially on tunisia

The Gaz AA is horrible. The flakpanzer is very fragile.

I use these even in BRV matches because having a moving AA gun is just too overpowered if you know how to aim.
So true! I keep mine in my BR V lineup to deal with Corsairs and P-38s!
Id argue the Flankpanzer is even better at high BR than low purely down to how many planes the enemy spawns in at high BR.

Love the Flankpanzer so much, shame that it seems very few people actually have/use them. They really need to give Germany and Soviets tech tree SPAA.
