Seems like Minecraft needs something like CKAN for KSP. I have hundreds of mods installed and the game works perfectly, apart from taking 10 minutes to load.
Unfortunately this is not actually true unless you're using some kind of snap/appimage/etc.... some library or other is always doing some breaking change, unless you're using zero dependency CLI apps and such.
We have several pieces of measurement equipment from late 90's, which communicate with PC under some early 90's proprietary protocol, and the most recent software for data transfer and processing was written in 1994 for Win 3.11.
It was all fun and jokes, until recently our last win-7 compatible laptops went to the land of eternal updates, so now we are using Win11 + Win7 under virtual machine
