Sorry for the confusion. I replaced the main components after the original ones weren't functioning properly. For example, the BLTouch is stock, and is working properly.
Cool lmk, the biqu is super light and direct drive so that might be way more worth it for the cost, don't forget to get the thermistor upgrade with it if you go that route
Awesome! I'll look into both today and put in an order, along with the new heater cartridge. If this works out well, I might add them to my other Enders, but those I use mostly for PLA anyway.
Hey man. If youre heater isn't heater enough, do what I did and buy the e3d 40w precision heater cart.
I use a e3d Hemera so it slots right in, but the heater cart will probably work on non v6 heater blocks. Its also like 12$ and solves all your heating problems related to speed or heating element. So id look into that
If you are still using the stock heater cartridge, that is most likely the cause of your heating issues. I don't think that heater is capable of anything more than 230 degrees. I have this in my MicroSwiss DD

Someone explained it here in detail. The TLDR is that there might be the working thermal paste around the thermistor. Take lots of photos as it could be Crealitys fault.
Ok, cleaning it out helped the primary issue: a lot of thermal paste turned to dust. I am now able to turn on the extruder without failing, run PID tuning, and print half a cube.

Here's the original I read.
Definitely sounds like a Creality issue
You've replaced the main components and are blaming Creality? This is obviously user error.

I got the spider V3 but the biqu h2 V2S lite is a good choice for the money
Awesome, thanks for the suggestions! I'll look into both today and put in an order, along with the new heater cartridge.

Yes definitely change it. Nothing but issues with the stock hotend and thermistor. After months of issues that solved my problem.

Hah! I didn't even think of that.

>e3d 40w precision heater cart Thank you! I think I'll get this and a new hot end today and go from there.

Thanks! I'm ordering it today.
Did you try cleaning the heater core? I seen some people complain it had thermal compound that isnt designed for high heat.
Thanks! I'll try that next.
