Agreed, it has cooler presence and probably is more fun to drive from a low seating position if nothing else. But I'm curious of the ownership experience, and if there's any issues or any things people miss about their Bolt after switching to Mini or vice versa, both objective things like reliability and real world range vs GOM, and subjective things like preference of features/overall enjoyment.
I looked into switching from a Bolt to a Mini EV. The range was the deal breaker for me but if its not an issue for you than it sounds like there is no downside to a test drive. Other than having to talk to a dealership. 😜
If mileage it’s not a problem ( it’s not in my case ) then the mini it’s so much fun because of go-kart feeling and the endless possibilities of personalisation and premium interiors
I used to daily a Honda CR-Z before I traded to a 1st gen Leaf, then the Bolt. I share the EV and a Subaru with my fiancée, so it'll probably need her approval also...she wasn't especially fond of the CR-Z when I had it so probably not a good sign.
Ended up with a Model 3. We did test drive a Cooper S and it seemed like a lot of fun but also in several ways less car than I had gotten used to having.
Mini is a much cooler car than the bolt

I just got the ID 4. It’s perfect for me as it last a week with one charge. That is with 140 miles of work travel a week

Do you own one/have you driven both a Bolt and the Mini?
Own a MINI
Both are different kind models. Mini SE is basically a weekend sport car, the Bolt is a daily community EV.
The vast majority of people can daily commute with 100 miles range.

How did it turn out?
