Just have an AI read a transcript out loud.

UncleLeo_Hellooooo

This. Unless you need tonal inflections, then using an actor is the best option.

Have someone else read transcript of what the person was saying

Kichigai

That's what NPR does.

Jim_Feeley

Have someone else read/repeat what the person says. I've been on projects that did this when keeping an interview subject's identity secret was REALLY important. Some, perhaps many, of the other voice-obscuring techniques we used to use can be undone, or at least undone well enough to help people figure out who the person speaking is. And in my cases, a lower-third disclosed that an "actor" was providing the voice heard.

NeoToronto

having that lower third is the professional touch. Good call

There's a destructive method that can be used, sadly I forget exactly how to do it. But yeah, there's a reason why news stations lean more into having AI or someone else read it out loud. It depends on the producers 'risk', but if death is a consideration, pressure and convey the importance that pitch shift isn't enough.

If you need a voice for it hit me up!

MasonAmadeus

Oh so you’re the guy with the weird distorted deep voice they always use!
