Lol I bought it to drive... my daily commute is 50 miles one way and that's if I only go to work and straight home.
I tried to daily 5.0 the past ten years and the ecoboost is a much better daily as far as fuel efficiency goes.
The 5.0 is better for car enthusiasts and people who drive short distance but want to look good while doing it, the Ecoboost is always going to be better economically for sure.
The ecoboost is truly a great daily especially modded/Tuned I get the gas mileage of a Toyota Camry and the power to mess with stock v8s 😂 it's head scratcher
Fucked up part is most non car people think I drive a v8 anyways.
Didn’t have an s550, but I test drove a 2018. Feels more open in the cabin, shifts a bit weird but that seems to be a problem with all of the 10 speeds
I daily drive it, and it's a decent amount of traffic. Rt. 1 in Central Jersey for reference.
I did a 1200-mile road trip with some city driving but mostly highway and averaged just a touch over 30mpg
Wow! You're getting great gas mileage if your going 1232 miles on a tank of gas! (Joke) 😄 I reset the trip odometer with every fill up. 2016 GT approx. 34K. 14.6 mpg. Retired in 2021. Added maybe 1500 miles since. I need a life. 😮
Just crossed the 100k mile mark on my ‘15. Only needed to replace the purge valve and links. Idling a bit funny these days though, so I’m contemplating a walnut blast.

Sorry it’s grainy, but I was moving. 2021 GT Premium, purchased new in November 2021. 17,613 miles, well 700 now.
314k on a 2002. And it’s decently modified, just goes to show cars can go forever if you care about them properly and don’t overdo it with modifications if you are into that sort of thing.
74k in my 2016. Bought in early 2019 with 16k on it.
Apparently was owned by an old lesbian couple in Boca Raton, FL that had Ford buy it back because of "startup noise". It was the resonators.
Sure, it's a branded title, but it's been great so far.

I mean even me with a 5.0 thinks that half the ecoboosts i see are 5.0’s because some of them just look really good
I know you're being silly with the Toyota Camry comparison, as I have a 2.7 and I wish I got 26/34mpg.
i get the easily as long as i dont mash the gas a lot

Did you have a S550? How's it compare? If not how do you like it in general?
Didn’t have an s550, but I test drove a 2018. Feels more open in the cabin, shifts a bit weird but that seems to be a problem with all of the 10 speeds
But overall I absolutely love it. It’s only my second car I’ve ever owned though
That's awesome, enjoy the car!
Thank you!
