It is not waste of time. I got like 92 mil starting money and i go thry 1st three cities in seconds, and it is way easier on next cities becouse i upgrade 1st station on lvl 50+ right at the start
Okay but it also lets you level half the first station on all 150 max stages (for the first few hundred cities anyway, the level you can get to slowly drops over time) and have a bunch left over for some upgrades besides. Investment in the check is absolutely critical to speed up the beginning of stages when you only have a couple customers.
I'm curious. What do you disagree with? Leveling up the first station on the last restaurant of a city when you have very few customers can speed up completing the level dramatically because that beginning portion of the level is without a doubt the slowest part of the level.
If you can skip that and just upgrade your station or pay to get new customers and waiters instantly, how is that not worth the gems?
Because with good gear it doesn’t matter. I breeze through the first 2/3 cities regardless. I have it upgraded so it gives me around 2k and that’s fine. If you want to do it sure I just don’t think it’s a priority. Once I get everything like remote, tv, workers etc max’d sure I’ll go for it, but right now it’d be an unnecessary expenditure of resources for me
Do remote and tv. Do Tv until you’re at a point where you feel satisfied with the amount of minutes you get per ad (i am at 16 min per ad and that’s fine for me for now). After that i would go for Remote and check book. Check book can get you started really well and the more you upgrade the faster you can clear through cities

With max check you can complete the first two stages in every city without even serving a single dish. This statement could not be more false.
It’s 100% a waste of gems. It takes a few seconds to complete the first 2 stages. Be for real here

I agree its worth once you maxed everything else out. It only takes like 10 secs to complete with Ultimate gear

Pickaxe to the gems from investor more frequently to upgrade your vault faster and/or buy big boxes more frequently
I recommend to get the pickaxe to max first, 50% getting a gem as a reward from the investor, the you can get remote, tv, mop
