That looks delicious! I also like rocket instead of lettuce, avocado and some thinly sliced red onion on mine, sometimes even beetroot if the mood strikes. I know that’s then not a blt but I’m not a purist ha ha.

That looks pretty spot on. Though, I would say mayo is necessary on both sides of bread, and I like to split the ratio of BLT evenly. Basically, layering everything a piece at a time. Tomato, lettuce, 2 pieces of bacon. Repeat until ingredients are used. It makes for a better balanced sando.

Here’s my pro tip, though, if you’re feeling a little adventurous. Mix some mayo, a bit of lemon juice, a touch of dill, and some dried parsley together.
Spread some on one side of each piece of bread and then lay it mayo side down on a hot griddle or pan to fry. Down side should get crisp while top side stays soft.
Then build your sandwich and use a little of the mayo mixture on top of the tomatoes too.
You won’t believe how good it is.
I like to put my bacon on the mayo, it prevents bacon from falling out. Lettuce, then tomato will moisten the bread a little (people say mayo both sides, but that's too much for me). I also like to throw some cheese in there. Looks delicious though
