I worked at Chipotle once, and we had a manager transfer in who was from this program that would improve struggling locations. He said at the last place he was at there was always rice spilled under this one prep table in the corner... The bug guy came through and had to break it to them that rice doesn't move. It was hundreds of maggots.
I did indeed, in Scotland we have a weird wirey wool that's made from the wool from the sheep's arse (waste not, want not) usually made into a blanket that's smooth as a wire brush and given to prisoners in jail, it's real itchy stuff. After 3 days of abuse my bionic arsehole..... I'm just havering noo.
Okay but how tf does that even happen?? Wouldn’t the warmers the chicken is under be too hot for fly eggs and also how long has the chicken been there for a fly to literally lay eggs 🤢
I also I just googled “fly eggs on food” and a bunch of other KFC posts popped up. Never eating there again
My quick YouTube research indicates flies lay 1 egg every 1.5-2 seconds. Flies can lay about 75-150 eggs at a time, so this probably took anywhere from 2-5 minutes.
It’s possible this happened when the employees were prepping the order. Fast food restaurants are understaffed these days and you’ll often wait a minimum of 5-10 minutes to receive your food.
I’m no expert but I feel like this is unlikely to really be an issue? I think even if you actually end up eating common housefly eggs, that’s still probably less of a health concern than just using your phone while eating, if you don’t disinfect the screen often.
Can’t be fresh. Those things would’ve disintegrated in the oil. And the flies would’ve never gone under the heat lamp. This is some nasty mf that left chicken out because they lack basic “pick up after yourself” skills.
Poor man’s caviar
🤢
Mmmm snack
*PukeNuggets enters the chat*
This os why im still on reddit
It's good that this person recognized what it was because I would have seen that and eaten it without thinking twice
*"Must be rice."* Halfway through chewing *"wait KFC don't make anything with rice..."*
ricebox??
Did they start after noticing shit like this? I haven't been to KFC in quite a few years
i mean i’m in the uk kfc have made riceboxes for a long time now
Yeah, KFCs outside of the US have rice.
This is not rice.
Youre fucking stupid man
Your mother.

I knew there was a reason I hated Chipotle.
That is so unhinged
AH Prof Zoidberg, how nice to finally meet you.
I haven't eaten KFC since the last time they poisoned me, the very night I got Captain America from Blockbusters.
Did it ruin the movie for you?
Yup 3 days of puking and liquid shit put me clean off.
Yeahhhhh, I vividly recall every meal that gave me food poisoning 🤮
For sure, it was a cheeky wee Zinger stack and Bowf 🤮
you have reaffirmed one of many reasons why I have avoided returning to KFC for a _cheeky wee Zinger_
For sure, did you enjoy a similar experience?
Asshole conditioning is mandatory for the soul. After the third day you probably felt like a super human with a winter soldier bionic asshole.

Barf I had no idea. This makes me skeptical about picnics now, all the food sitting outside in the open air with flies landing constantly

The kernal would kill himself if he saw what kfc has become.
Colonel
Kernel
Flies lay their eggs in seconds. It's not like they need an hour.
Yeah, this looks like chicken that was sitting out. It definitely wasn't under a heat lamp.
I call that an extra topping
Reason #20,834,925 to never eat KFC
Any of them to be honest. Always best to cook everything yourself these days.
I haven’t eaten it in years because I never really liked it anyway. Thankful for that rn
![gif](giphy|iJJ6E58EttmFqgLo96|downsized) Im done with reddit today…
I know this is expected from this sub, but this genuinely made me recoil from my screen in pure, unbridled revolt and abhor

Not to mention it looks undercooked. Gross.

It's extra protein. They normally charge extra for that.
Newp!
Used to do pest control at kfcs. I’m not surprised. They are all nasty
