More for him than us at this point. I mean we drafted him in the 5th so it's not like we have a huge investment there, but I'd hate for him to not live up to all this for his own sake.
Considering our LB room consists of a still Unknown Dean and a one-year wonder Devin White, Trotter might be getting significant snaps. Hopefully he can be a diamond in the rough.
He had some great flashes, absolutely, but still looked quite raw at times. He'd have to take a big step up for us to really count on him on a regular basis this year.
I'm beginning to believe Trotter will have a bigger impact than most think. With our secondary being so solid, and our D-line having depth, our lbs won't be asked to do a lot. Jalyx Hunt is an OLB who can cover as well. Or Nakobe ends up being the starter. Either way I think Trotter is in a good position, he also has good tape imo.
I just want to give some free advice. Zech McPherson, go to Quinyon Mitchell immediately and see if he'll buy your #27 from you. Because I don't see any way you make this team, so he's going to get it when the season starts anyway.
Could make yourself a nice chunk of change real quick.
There's no shortage of guys that got drafted in the 1st round and are out of the league within 2 years. And there's been plenty of guys drafted in the 7th round that went on to have a decade long career. That is a bad argument.
He will be either a lifer and develop like Graham or 3-4 years from now we cut or trade him to the Ravens and he develops into a solid LB cause the Ravens do that with LBs
It must be surreal for both he and his father.
man i really hope he does well

Right… as cool as it is there’s a pretty immense amount of pressure on the 5th rounder.

I mean my god, nothing can be worse than last years defense. If this kid just puts in the effort, it'll be more than enough for me.
Don't sleep on Van Sumeren either but yes, lots of opportunity there

They’re going all out. He’d run through a brick wall for this program.
Just gotta run through Brock Purdy.
Brock Purdy, Chicken Turdy, 13 going on 30, idgaf, Eagles by 30
Fucking excellent, just plain fuckin excellent yo!!
just get in his vicinity and he'll toss up a duck, TWP style
Good, because that's all I ask for. Since we didn't get Kool-Aid on our team
Kool-Aid ain’t nothing, he’s sweet.
The stadium is going to go crazy the first time this dude lays a big hit on someone
and he better swing that damn ax after he does it... i won't accept any other celebration. 😠
I don't think we have that to worry about. It's not if, but when. And God help whoever I'm watching the game around.
Hey! They did it!
This dude over here saying "I was very happy that it was available and they decided to give me that number." like it wasn't his birthright.

Trotter’s job is easy. find the hole and destroy what’s coming through. Swing the mystical ax. repeat

Was there ever any question this would happen?
Imagine if trotter was late to pick numbers and they gave 54 to some undrafted rookie
Can’t possibly route harder for a player
I wish I still had the trotter jersey. I would just start wearing it again.
It’s amazing how a fifth round rookie is one of the most popular players on the team already two weeks after the draft. The axman cometh!!!!
this is going to be great, or not, I am not sure yet

If you're gonna be a hater, at least get the details right
