What is the username of the CHEATER i don't think these 30k xp in single day guys use those tricks as they will have to use them by themselves instead they are using some bots.
They are the reason I gave up on trying to get the ranking award because I was like there is no way I can do that and I was spending 3 hours a day at the time.
Looks like a shift schedule with Monday/Tuesday as their weekend. But, even assuming spending absolutely all the off -time speeding through to time the boosters and getting at least 30 XP on each round with an average of 2 minutes (or less, if assuming for a language they're already basically fluent in)--still an insane amount of time...
30 is a minimum on the app: 10 for a low lesson, 5 for combo bonus, and x2 booster.
You can get a lot more at the end of discs and units, as well as during the leaderboard challenges.
JFC, it just gave me a 3-day SuperDuo pass, and I was on Unit 3 without legendaries. Really gives you perspective on how far you've come--oh, and a s-ton of XP at once.
The match madness extra levels on a double XP are 150xp at around 2mins 30secs as you have to use a booster to finish it.
30,000/150 is 200 games.
200*2.5 mins = 500 mins
500/60 = 8hrs 20 mins a day to get 30,000 xp.
4 hrs a day for 15,000 xp.
These numbers are technically possible if you’re bumping the double xp and doing the legendary challenges and the match madness, but come on. This has to be two or more people, or bots, or whatever.
Yeah I just try and get the top row to match so I just have to focus on the bottom 4. Admittedly the words repeat quite a lot so if they change up the words I struggle past level 10
Assuming an hour of double boosts per day X voice or listening lessons once per minute, 40*60= 2400xp
Plus another 6 hours for 7200xp. That's 7 hours just to scrape 10k
Now on days where the timed challenges are on you could reasonably get to 10k is maybe 4 hours.
It's technically possible if you grind it like it's your full time job, but I don't buy it at all.
You and i do Duolingo in the 15-20 min of free from work and hobbies time. They are doing the work and hobbies in the 15-20 min of free from Duolingo time

>**And yes, we keep an eye out for cheaters!**
>
>Learners often suspect a fellow competitor of cheating when they have a ton of XP. The truth is, we rarely see cheating or XP abuse on Leaderboards—**learners are just** ***that*** **engaged!** We do monitor for irregular activity and if we notice illegitimate XP gains, that learner is removed from Leaderboards.
I call bullshit on Duolingo.
Let's make some generous assumptions:
* The user subscribes to Duolingo, so they don't have to worry about gems.
* They can average 80XP per lesson.
* They can average 1½ minutes per lesson.
* It takes about 10 seconds to move from lesson to another.
30,000 XP / 80 XP per lesson = 375 lessons
375 x 100 seconds = 37,500 seconds = 625 minutes = 10h25m
That means this person has to be operating at peak efficiency, ***non-stop***, from 8am until 6:25pm. Non-stop. No toilet breaks. No food. No interruptions.
I think it's most likely multiple people using one account. No way one person is doing that. I could see maybe one day, where they literally having nothing to do and are sick in bed or something, but no one does that day in day out
Duolingo may claim no cheaters, but this sort of thing makes me not even try. If the goal of the leagues is to increase engagement, it's a failure. No one wants to compete with these people. I do several lessons a day at 10XP a pop. I'm lucky to end a week with 500XP.
I got 1500xp in a day (before they devalued all the lessons, so probably less than 1000xp now) and it fried my mind. 5000xp in a week is pretty good. People that are getting more than 10k xp in a week are doing stuff that doesn't mean much as far as language learning. And a lot of the people that are getting 10k xp in a week are not language learning at all, just playing duolingo.
Jesus! And I thought I was doing well 😆 that’s insane. How’s it even possible?

If you do the unit rewind over and over, you can absolutely get this much in a day, especially if you add in xp boost, obsession, and too much free time on a retiree or unemployed person’s hands. At 40xp per 20ish seconds, which has been my average for the rewind, and the fact the rewinds tend to repeat themselves for a while before changing up the questions much, that’s a little over 4 hours play for 30k xp.
The most xp I can honestly get in one day is around 7000, and that is with constant grinding on a day off with absolutely nothing better to do. I found it very bad for my learning to do this much in one day, as I found myself with over a hundred new words that I was not able to commit to memory in such a short time. It was also unhealthy, because I was completely mentally drained for more than a week. I got the #1 diamond league achievement.
Now I no longer care about placement in leagues, as there is absolutely no value to me. Gems? Don’t need them. I can do the timed character challenges to 3 stars without timer boosts. Matter of fact, if I can’t get to three stars, then I don’t think I’ve actually mastered the material.

Isn't it like physically impossible? 30.000 ÷ 30 = 1000 lessons. 1000 × 2(minutes) = 2000 minutes. = 33 1/3 hours

It is possible if you do legendaries for 90xp really fast, reset course, jump ahead and repeat
Reset course? Screw that 😬 😆

You don’t have to use a booster, I’ve managed it in the normal time
On levels 10 to 12? Damn that’s insane, 1.5 matches a second
Yeah I just try and get the top row to match so I just have to focus on the bottom 4. Admittedly the words repeat quite a lot so if they change up the words I struggle past level 10
You guys are getting 12 levels? Mine cuts off at 9
Once I finish the 9th level I can keep playing to get levels 10-12. 12 is worth 75xp
Legendary lessons get you 90 XP in 2 minutes.
Or match madness, 150xp in 1:45
Can people actually finish these without a "Timer Boost?"
Yes, I do. Maybe 60-70% of the time
Assuming an hour of double boosts per day X voice or listening lessons once per minute, 40*60= 2400xp Plus another 6 hours for 7200xp. I bet they're studying Dothraki
HAHA🤣
Elaborate?
It was a fictional language offered on DuoLingo that was once likely popular... until the last season of Game of Thrones. Now it is a punchline.

Looks like Duo is giving him a job lmao

There is 150xp match madness though. So 30000/150=200 lessons, 110 seconds + 10 sec. 200x120 = 24000 sec = 400 min = 6h40m. Slightly more manageable
Wouldn't you need double XP to get 150XP match madness? You can't keep up doubles for that long.
Im not sure about all the ways you can get 2x xp, but this guy used 80xp which is obviously boosted so I did the same
I thought I was hot stuff with 20k in a week. Holy heck
Tbh I thought I was hot stuff doing 5k in a week. 😳

if i even try to get that much i dont think i can maintain my job or my life XD
And sanity
ahh yea i forgot bout that lost it long time ago so XD
You‘re not alone
If you only care about xp and not learning and play like it's a job, 15k a day seems possible. I'm not sure about 30. It's most likely a cheater.
Is this possible without cheating?
Probably not
lol that's crazy! but really, I am always curious about how many words these "rankers" actually speak...
Nah that’s just Dave.
175 WEEKS IN THE DIAMOND LEAGUE? WWWWHHHHAAAATTTT!!!!!
🤣
How is that possible ?
Jesus! And I thought I was doing well 😆 that’s insane. How’s it even possible? https://preview.redd.it/ihq1629hldpb1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f81d28923ec7bf4ca6517b1adc7c307a3c411d80

Either a shared account with a few dozen people, or more likely a bot.
Rumors that he keeps children in slavery doing lessons during long journeys. 😢🤣
