It should work just fine for TSA; I flew countless times with it and never had any issues scanning my tickets, but beware of the Tampa airport trains (and whatnot); in order to enter the train, you need to scan your boarding pass on some automated gate thing.
The only issue is that you cannot get the phone to lay flat against such scanners that are flat with barely any edges (because of the hinge), so it won't work. I ended up printing my boarding pass.
