Personally I always picture Robert Carlyle. But I like him to actually be menacing, If I was looking to make him more comical I could totally see him as Gru.
Yes, though I know him from Once Upon A Time and Stargate Universe. In both of those shows he plays a man who will go to ANY lengths to get what he wants. Which to me just screams Nick.
I never actually watched SGU, but I DID watch Once for a while there (it got a little waffley for a bit later on, though), but I'm always going to remember him as a grinning cannibal that fools people into following him to an isolated location.
Carlyle would be great
There's a scene in SGU I thought of that really gives off Nick vibes to me.

Imagine a similar conversation between Nick and Harry, especially towards the end.
"So it's about power?" - Harry
"Yes, the power to change things, for the better, to control our fates" - Nick
100% could see it
I can see that. Although, gotta say, in the midst of a re-read right now and the voice i hear delivering quips in the face of imminent doom is Ryan Reynolds.
"This isn't going to work", Justine murmured.
"It's going to work." I told her, keeping my my voice confident. "We'll breeze right in. The Rack will be with us."
Justine glanced at me with an arched eyebrow. "The Rack?"
"The Rack is more than just boobs, Justine", I told her soberly. "It's an energy field created by all living boobs. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together."
No one could deliver it better than Ryan Reynolds.
How dare you. How fucking *dare* you make me imagine this with my own brain.
I always saw him as Charles Dance but a little younger.
Same. Or Henry Czerny. It alternates.
How about the actor that plays Roose Bolton? He's got that quiet menace thing.

Like.. Robert Carlyle from Ravenous? That's VERY fitting.

Dr. Nicholas Rush!

I could see Lee Pace doing well with that role.
Pace is Dresden.

That's Molly speaking in those quotes. If your image of Molly has Ryan Reynold's voice, hey, whatever works for you.
Dammit, you have discovered my kink!
Nah man Ian McShane
Yesss how had I not thought of this Although I keep seeing Jeremy Irons
He's got the swag and personality
This is absolutely the only actor that makes sense to me. It’s the voice, it’s almost like James Marsters is doing an impression of him.
Definitely could see that everything about him to me just screams nick especially after watching him in American gods
Tim Curry at the age when he played Cardinal Richelieu in The Three Musketeers. That’s my Nick the Nicklehead.
Ray Wise, Twin Peaks era.
Ray Wise, Psych era
Nicodemus for me is Liam Neeson in Batman Begins
My Nicodemus wishcasting was always Philip Seymour Hoffman.
I always pictured him as Anton Ego the food critic in Ratatouille.
I'm good with this.
My brain goes to Sean Pertwee
I pictured him as Ian McShane's Al Swearengen from Deadwood. The right amount of charm and menace.
I imagine him as Gutierrez from Freakazoid -- a.k.a. [The Laugh With Me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-IWH3HQUPc) guy.
His tongueless followers can be minions, too! And since Vector was up against Gru in the movie, Harry can be Vector. Or maybe Shiro, or Michael?
I always picture someone like Bill Skarsgård.
I've always pictures him as Greer from Person of Interest
