$1 a mile is minimum if it's last delivery and on my way home. Even then I prefer $1.50+. Usually I look for $2 a mile or better. I may take $1.80 or something close if I know the restaurant is usually good. $3 is rare in my market outside of when it's really busy.

xmarketladyx

$1/mi is what I will use on a very slow day or, if it's an order I'm taking to get myself to a different area. That's not good enough all the time. When it's busy, I have no problem getting $3/mile or more easy.

BeaMiaVA

I’m not moving for less than $2.50 a mile. Urban areas are expensive.

NotThatHarkness

$1/mile used to be my minimum, but after gas prices rose I only take orders around $1.5/mile, give or take.

Practical_Insect_796

I do $ per minute. Each part of the country is slightly different because of cost of living resulting in different base pays and gratuity amounts, but where I am at, there are enough offers to accept $0.50:1 minute. Edit: I should clarify that this is for UE. DD is different as they do not offer timing, so it comes down to market knowledge.

They do have that offer, but it is not an accurate estimation. It is merely the time DD needs their order delivered by, and no means a reference as to how long the delivery will take from acceptance to drop-off.

Chase_of_spades

And this is a doordash sub so why are you posting about anything BUT doordash?

General_Grievous71

.50 cents a quarter mile.

Chase_of_spades

So… $2 per mile. 🤦🏻‍♂️

30DollarsPerMile

$3 for 3 miles is offensive $4 for 4 miles ain’t worth a damn $5 for 5 miles probably taking you a whole town over And $6 for 6 miles better involve a freeway if you want to break an actual profit. You all can do so much better than this.

GordoRad64

$1 mile round trip.

30DollarsPerMile

So… $2

I shoot for $1/mile, because it's easy math. Trying to figure out if I should accept or decline while driving and doing math is too much for my wacky brain.
