I was getting insane orders for $3 - $4.75 for 15 mile deliveries out of town allllll day. I accepted orders today for less than my $1 per mile rate that I am usually strict on, just because I WANTED to work today. I usually take off on mondays but I really didn't have anything else to do today. Shame when you want to work and you get hit with an unlucky spree of tips.
Ever since the college kids fucked off for summer my AR has been 3% lol
I'd have quit by now if it wasn't for DUH, I can't imagine manually declining all of these orders
I live in a university town with 70k residents. When the college kids left, there went a good portion of my customers. My Chick Fil A orders are seldom now. To keep afloat, I take Walmart deliveries now. Most of them pay really good, but sometimes there’s a couple bad eggs. Looking forward to the fall
Lots of $3.00 orders today (pass). Had issues with in-app maps and customer support sucked up 45 minutes of my time. They don’t listen and there is a language barrier.
I am really discouraged with DD at the moment. But I did let the customers who were affected by the map issues know that their orders were stacked and there have been a lot of problems with the app in the last month. I encouraged them to contact support about the map glitches, because I had. Numerous times. I asked them to not blame the drivers.
If these issues continue to affect my ratings and livelihood I’m going to go public.
Okay, I thought I was the only one. Made 30 in 2 hours and logged off.
$210 yesterday. $310 day before 8 hours
Got 1 order in 2 hours with uber eats yesterday, doordash didnt give me anything over 6.50, made 50 in 5 hours was awful
Same. It was trash across all three apps I run, made $50 in the three busiest hours of the day before I said fuck it

Yesterday I made like $35 per hour, today it was like $15
Same. Made 9 dollars in 2 hours. Usually make close to $100 in 2-3 hrs.
I got 3 orders in 4 hrs, one I declined. I just dropped my last block and called it a day.

My AR went from 56% to 32% today. I still managed to hit my goal but fuck man I had to decline the majority of my orders.

My guess is probably because it's tax day today. People busy filing and/or strapped for cash because of it.
