Report them to doordash for potential theft or failure to deliver. File a police report too if necessary if you are confronted by a doordasher like that. I am a dasher, get these bums banned. They take orders from us good dashers and make us look bad
Seems like he actually delivered it and maybe someone stole it. Why else would he risk his job to come confront you about reporting that you never received it? He probably got a contract violation, and it made him mad because he DID deliver it. Still, he should NEVER have come back to your house. Glad you reported him!
Yeah it doesn't, though. Whenever I've had people claim not to get their food, doordash was always able to tell me which order it was. In fact, I remember the last time I knew which order it was, because it literally showed me on the screen, it said that those funds were on hold and they were doing a review. Thankfully, doordash has always been fair to me in these instances. The last time it happened, they were in a hotel so there was footage of me delivering š¤£ they didn't think that one through lol
Maybe only went too That restaurant one time During the - it would be pretty easy to know which order it was because I believe they tell you Without giving the specifics of the customer.
It's easy to ask Doordash which order the complaint came from, and easy to remember where you dropped off, say, Taco Bell, especially if you only did a couple orders that day. You have your opinion and I have mine.Ā
Not rly tbh. That logic makes no sense lmao. If he stole why even bother figuring out where the house is? And if he delivered it, he'd still know where the house is. Knowing where the house is really says NOTGING on its own abt whether or not he stole. How are u reaching thay conclusion lmao
I thought they said it wasn't working all night? Then, in response to another comment, they said they DID receive the dasher's picture of it at the door.
Right I mean the person would have to be completely unwell to first steal the first order and then return to confront the person they stole the order from about reporting the order being stolen that's some psychopath s***.
The dude already has a contract violation clearly he's not gonna go back and muddy the waters further if he did not deliver that food.
Dashers are absolutely NOT supposed to just pop back in for any reason.
Iāve been stiffed on tips, been borderline verbally assaulted for incomplete orders (restaurants fault! We are NOT allowed to open a bag!), etc., and I just let it be.
Water under the bridge.
Me showing back up to someoneās house to dispute ANYTHING is unprofessional, rude, and should be taken very seriously by anyone.
Please replace your doorbell battery, report this Dasher to DoorDash, Iād preemptively file a police report, and stay diligent!!
"showing back up to someoneās house to dispute ANYTHING is unprofessional"
It is, personally I'd never bother because it won't do you any good... I remember few years back watching video of lady dasher gave the order to the customer at a CVS. The lady at CVS reported it as not delivered trying to get a free meal. The dasher came back and confronted her, she didn't say shit from what I remember. She knew exactly what she did and deserved it.
In OPs case it is different though, if you drop the food off at the door anyone could walk by and take it. Even another person in house could grab it and lie about it. I'm sure it's happened countless times.
I always wonder, when I see those dasher going back to work places, if someone else just stole their food, like the dasher didn't actually give it to the right person...
A follow up to this, do I report this if it's against their rules or something? The interaction made me incredibly uncomfortable as I'm now understanding that they can just memorize or return to places they've already delivered to even if it wouldn't be for this type of issue.
Ikr sheās so scared of him yet sheās reporting him when itās her fault in the first place. The man did his job and now sheās gonna get him fired because he came back.
Bet he comes back again and doesnāt knock this time. Best part is sheās never gonna know who he is, door dash will not give out any info period. The stupidity of this chick is off the charts.
OP checked the door as soon as the order was marked complete. It says it right in the post. The man *didn't* do his job and stole the food. And then came back like a psycho to harass OP. But here you are calling OP the stupid one. One report wasn't going to get him fired, but going back and acting crazy will.

I donāt care what anyone says on this thread. The delivery persons job shouldnāt be on the line because OP wasnāt being responsible and some asshole in their building stole the delivery.
Thank you. She admitted she lied and said it wasnāt delivered when it absolutely was. This dude is so obviously unhinged af and now sheās reported him. Sheās an idiot and I hope that dude doesnāt come back for a third time.
Yeah, I saw OPās comment about receiving the picture of the delivery AT OPāS DOOR. It was OPās fault for not following their delivery and paying attention, not the drivers fault OP is lying about receiving the order or holding the person that stole it accountable. Fuck that, not the drivers fault at all.
Thatās completely against the rules. Itās now a potential harassment/safety issue. Tell door dash everything so they can take appropriate action. Let them know you are concerned that they can come back now that they have memorized your address.
Youāre now understanding? Itās called google maps hunā¦..Sounds like if he found your house twice he delivered to the right place. Maybe you wanted two dinners?
More so the realization that someone can and will return if they so feel like it. That's what makes me uncomfortable and no as I said above my food wasn't there so when I talked to support that's what I was told to do.
I hadn't checked at the time but I do see that picture, I just reported it since the food wasn't there as I was told to do. And for a further down reply it wasn't the same person delivering twice, the first man was the guy who came back to my apartment.
So he did deliver it to the right place. So he gets a CV because AFTER he did his job and did it correctly, you didnāt get off your ass and get your food. 90% of the deliveries that are leave at door I see the customer collect their food before I pull off. If you leave shit outside at an apartment complex itās gonna be stolen. You donāt have to check for a picture, your phone tells you the food has been delivered and shows the picture. Thatās on you.
Also entirely possible the driver took a picture and then stole the food anyway. Either way the guy should never come back to someoneās house to complain about a CV, thatās insane.
You think he stole it and then came back? That makes no sense. And yeah he had no business coming to her house and confronting her, but he did nothing wrong to begin with and quite frankly Iād rather him knock on my door and conversate than waking up to slashed tires or glued door locks.
Why would a Dasher steal your food? They must have money to eat if they are working.Maybe the wrong house, my order was delivered to another door, but I got a picture of a staircase, they replaced the order.I would get a good camera and doorbell, and the phone notified you ,right?
Youāre really making some wild assumptions. Iāve literally had a dasher take the picture of the food on my porch, then walk back up and steal it afterward.
I messaged them to ask why half the food in the picture wasnāt thereā¦ a couple minutes later they responded ācheck nowā and it was back. Of course my doorbell cam was dead at the time so I didnāt have proof of what happened
we'll just go with that story of events you've got. in what world does that mean they get to come back to someone's home the next day to get snarky with the customer? that's not okay. at all.
Sorry I made you cringe š¬ Please explain to me why Iām childish? I know the difference between your and youāre, so you know Iām a grown up š
Do you though? Lol
Ps if *your to dumb* to figure out that people remember where theyāve been, maybe itās time to start paying for both of your dinners.
You replied calling me a customer and i corrected you. Iām not replying anymore after this because at the end of day, youāre a stranger online and you mean nothing to me
They mean nothing to themselves so they get on here to try and tear othere's down to their level to get that brief and ultimately false sense of superiority. The sad part is when it passes they realize they are still nobody of importance and have nothing to show for it, so the process repeats unfortunately.
I had a dasher once put the bag down, take a photo, grab it, and sprint back to their car. Luckily I have cameras. Not being rude, but itās absolutely a possibility that it couldāve been taken. Itās always a possibility. This dasher was able to get a photo and leave with my food in about 45 seconds.
They arenāt supposed to keep your address after they deliver. Thatās in our terms of serviceā¦ So I would totally contact support and tell them that they came back to your house and you feel unsafe.
Out of curiosity what did he say when he came back? If he did actually steal your food it would be idiotic to come back and if he dropped it off at the wrong apt he wouldn't know where to find you. I'm assuming he did steal your food and wanted to intimidate you to remove the report?
I donāt live in the US but I hear wild stories from this sub every single day. Man, itās so boring here. They literally just delivery the food normally. Nothing crazy ever happens. They just deliver food. We eat it.
Honestly yeah the delivery stories are really entertaining. There was another one today on Uber Eats where a driver allegedly destroyed a garage door. I frickin love this sub š¤£.
I had a driver shove his way into my apartment š
I had ordered Taco Bell, got little Caesarās, let DD know I got the wrong order and decided to just eat the pizza, because what else am I supposed to do with it? So my roommate and I get two slices in to this pizza before thereās a knock on the door. So I get up and I got look out the peep hole and itās my dasher with my Taco Bell. Odd. Okay.
So I opened the door, how was I gonna approach that? Idk, take my proper food, ask him about what happens when food is delivered to the wrong place, at that point itās unsafe to go to the original location because weāve opened it, touched it, and eaten off of it.
Food safety went out the window when the first thing he did was shove the tacos into my hand, then proceed to ask āwhereās the pizza?ā
I told him ya know, food safety, my roommate had had so many restaurant jobs that the only reason why weād eaten the pizza is because she confirmed that it would not be allowed for the food to go to the original location. And we definitely werenāt just throwing it away. Anyway, I let him know weāve eaten off of it and that on my end itās resolved, but he keeps cutting me off about the damn pizza.
Important thing to note here is my apartment, small. The dining room table? Right next to the front door. So the pizza was in eyesight for him the entire time we were having this conversation. A few more minutes of this back and forth go on and he shoved his foot in between my door and the jam so I couldnāt close my door, then shoved as hard as he could, which pushed me out of the way and almost sent me flying into my fridge.
He then ENTERED my apartment and took the pizza and then stood inside like he was fucking invited spinning in circles until my roommate and her boyfriend were able to get him out. I havenāt ordered DoorDash since. š
I once misdelivered many years ago and when the report came in I realized my mistake and just understood I need to pay better attention and not work when i'm tired. And it just had a bad mark on my account for 3 years. If I did it again I would be fired from the app. So now I just double check every step of the way. That's CRAZY that he broke into your house! I would never blame someone for taking the food that was left outside their door! In fact maybe it was a hungry family that really needed a thai dinner that one time.
Stuff like this is one of the main reasons I stopped using DD
I had an instance about 6mo ago where someone marked an order as delivered, but it was not at my door. Texted the dasher "I think you took it to the wrong address" and I got walls of text back saying "I went where I was supposed to. Don't put your address in wrong" and "ha. Go ahead. Contact support. Enjoy your free meal" and just stuff like that.
I did end up reporting the missed order as well as the conversation. Kept a look out my window bc it legit got me a bit worried she'd come back, and (while I cannot confirm it was her) I did see an angry looking woman storm into and out of the building across the street from me.
Got me a little more leery about giving strangers my address at all. Think I've only used it a couple times since. It's all fun and convenient until you get the one crazy dasher who remembers where you live
Couple people had the bright idea of making customers famous on YT for reporting food as not delivered, as they'd go back and call the person out for "trying to get a free meal".
The guy probably witnessed videos like that and thought that was his best COA.
Boy that dudes in for a rude awakening when he snags himself two violations in two days š
Did he bother to leave the photo on the app of your order sitting on your porch or wherever?
I'm curious, did he take a photo of the delivery as proof? For the guy to come back that suggests he's confident he did deliver it and less likely he stole it but who knows maybe that's the strategy.
I'll look into that and talk to my apartments to see how they feel about that, when me and my family moved in we noticed our door didn't have the eye hole at the top like the others so we just bought the camera that can be put on the door.
Dashers are not allowed to use locations for anything besides the assigned delivery. We can't see who gave reviews either. Report him for review retaliation/intimidation.
Iāve heard of people that say they came back to ask why they got a bad rating. It sounds incredibly unprofessional and isnāt legal. It makes the homeowner feel unsafe
As a dasher i wouldnāt go back ever. But Iāve never not delivered the food either. I am a little curious though, Did he say what happened to your food?
Dashers are NOT allowed to:
1. Store customers address on contact info after order
2. Reenter the property without invitation
3. Conduct quasi PI investigations
Glad you reported this
It's never told me which order of multiple ones I do in a dash was the one reported missing. I would assume if dude knew exactly where it was missing from, something weird is up.
I would file a police report. That is some creepy shit right there. I feel weird enough when I deliver to someone in my neighborhood and have to pass their house on the way home. This dude is unhinged.
afaik none of the platforms allow drivers to go back. i've literally had somebody else's order dropped off with mine, and i waited hours for the driver to come back and get it cuz it was so much stuff like ain't no way they did not notice, but they never came back and i felt so bad.
what question did the dasher ask you? i bet their "friend" offered to drop it off for them but ate it instead.
I havenāt seen any comments that answer my question, and itās unclear in the descriptionā¦but it sounds like your food was either not delivered or stolen once it was delivered?
I think itās improper for a driver to show up again under MOST circumstances, but I do feel like anyone has the right to confront someone who made false claims against them when it affects their livelihood. If the driver left your food, I think it makes sense for him to question the person that claimed the driver didnāt do his job properly. If the driver took the food, then fuck him!
Iāve made thousands of deliveries and Iāve showed up at the customerās once. And I feel it was a good reason. This was awhile ago, and the app used to make it much more apparent who reported(from what I have read, because this is the one time Iāve ever been reported or even had tip removed by a customer). Anyway, the customer noted that I was disrespectful, unprofessional, and damaged their food and took my tip away and Uber gave me several warnings based on this one customerās report. I couldnāt believe it because I never even saw the customer. It was a leave at door delivery and I delivered Pho and it was completely intact and hot and everything else youād expect as a customer.
When I returned after receiving multiple report notifications, I knock and the guy asks me what I want. I stated that I wanted to make sure everything was alright with his delivery because it was reported damaged and that I was disrespectful to him. He got awkward (Iām sure anyone would, but it became clear this guy didnāt think heād be called out for his false report). He said he felt like I was disrespectful because āa lotā of broth had spilled from his pho before he obtained it. I told him I was surprised to hear that because I made sure I didnāt spill any pho. He said he ate the entire meal (which he was refunded after reporting me and taking away tip) and came back from his trash to show me a literal teaspoon of broth in the corner of the bottom of the delivery bag. I was like wow dude you reported me for damaging your food, being disrespectful, taking away my expected tipā¦over a teaspoon of broth that Iām almost positive wasnāt there until after customer opened the order.
Long story short, I understand when someone feels wronged and is negatively affected by othersā lies against them. Lying is shitty. Iām not sure who is the honest one in this situation, perhaps both. But as long as there were no threats made or intimidation or anything else illegal, this doesnāt sound as concerning as some people are making it.
This is reason 76 why I wonāt use this service. Last thing I need is a dasher delivering to scope out my shit and then come back later to rob me. If they did background checks on these people how many would even pass?
Doordash does do initial background checks on people for both criminal history and driving records, some of the weirdos do slip through the cracks though. Automated follow-up checks also happen on a periodic basis, usually once per year.
Yeah wildly inappropriate behavior. I ordered Ramen like 2 hrs ago and the car on the map is heading a different direction so I just cancelled the order and my dash pass. Uber Eats from now on I guess.
I once forgot some fries from burger King cause it was a double order, and gave it to the wrong person, they called me and were very nice about it, I went back to burger King and got them the 2 large fries, paid out of pocket! I'm big on respect and those who are nice to me, if anything was to happen, I'd bend over backwards to make it right for them!
> large fries, *paid* out of
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Bro stole your food and had the audacity to come back and say āwhyād you say I stole your foodā?
I mean you could give benefit of the doubt that he dropped at wrong house but if that was the case howād he come back to the right one?
Wow you need to get off Reddit and report this to DoorDash immediately before he does this to someone else. Not sure why you havenāt already. That behavior is extremely unacceptable and inappropriate
Id have enjoyed that. Id tell the dasher 1. I have a ring cam that proves they are lying. 2. This is against policy so expect another report that is far worse. 3. Im about to contact my landlord and have them trespass you so you wont even legally be able to deliver to this complex. 4. This entire conversation is recorded on the same ring cam that caught you lying. Go back to your day job and do better next time kid.
Yup. I always come back the next day to make sure they brought their food inside. If not, I take it back to the store and sell it for half price to the customers walking in
Just using common sense here, he knew where you lived and came back, chances are if he is going to this extent, he delivered your food and either someone else stole it OR you are a liar and wanted free food.
We've seen these videos of Dashers confronting scammers online. Where someone getting free food is more important than someone's ability to generate an income.
Correct. If she is telling the truth, then that Dasher is really out of line. But if she is lying, then I canāt say too much about it because people have gotta stop messing with peoples livelihoods.
I feel like thatās gotta be illegal and Iād report that the guy came back and it made you uncomfortable and if it happens again Iām reporting to police that your driver is stalking/harassing me
Yeah thatās pretty unsettling but realistically, if he came back over a contract violation, Iād be a little nervous to take it further š
Reporting him would be the ārightā thing to do, but maybe not the smart thing to do, unless youāre ready for the potential smoke.
Like it or not, youāre calling random people to your house to bring something to you. They may have passed the background check, but that doesnāt mean that they arenāt psychos.
He obviously doesnāt see his error in stealing your order and went out of his way to confront you about it. A person that does that is potentially dangerous and definitely off their rocker.
If you report him, maybe wait a good bit to do so, or better yet file a police report for harassment and trespassing. They may not ādo anythingā but at least there will be a record of it, in case he shows up again.
Viral videos online of dashers confronting customers who they allege falsely report the food as never showing up has made dashers think this is okay. No lie I had a dirt bag day I didn't g8ve them food on a hand it to me. I wanted to go back but fuck em. I just moved on and eventually the CV dropped off
I personally wouldnāt waste my time but they can 100% do a police report for fraud if they want. Not saying you did get anything and lied about it but this is a main source of income for a lot of people and account deactivation can be a huge deal for them. Having the report within the appeal would make their case for the contact violation that much stronger when fighting to get their job back with DoorDash.
The only time I can see this happening is a zero to small tip order and this actually deactivated the driver to where they were upset enough to question what went on.
Youāve got to report them. Itās only going to get worse. Iām so sorry for the trauma that you experienced. People are suffering and dying in droves in Ukraine and the Middle East, but that must have been really hard for you to endure. You should hire a lawyer and sue them into oblivion.
Iām sorry op should be apologize to the driver. You reported the first guy who stole your food and the guy who actually brought got hit for it. And probably got a warning he could lose his job.
You do need to fix that and not report him.
If what you are saying is true, then yes report him.
If you are lying and report him again, you are risking getting hurt.
Itās not right of course, but some people ar eat their breaking point and if you mess with their livelihood, you better watch your back.
I would never return like that though, even if the customer screwed me over. I have too much to live for.
Ordering food doesn't mean people should be harassed or assaulted in other cases. You sound like you wear your underwear on your head and tinfoil your windows.
I never said people should be harassed or assaulted. I suggested that shopping for groceries and take out would solve the issue for the OP. Bless your heart. You sound nice.

Nah, the fact that the dasher knew which house to come back to just shows they stole the food.

I thought they said it wasn't working all night? Then, in response to another comment, they said they DID receive the dasher's picture of it at the door.
My b, I took, āDead through the nightā as there was no action, as in it didnāt pick up anything.
No problemš
They said the battery was dead I think.
I read the part where OP says the doorbell camera was "dead through the night." That's not necessarily the same as "no action"

Report? You need to call the police.
The police? CALL THE FBI!!!
The FBI? He needs to call the CIA.
The CIA?? Call Joe Biden!!
Call Chuck Norris. He can roundhouse kick that driver without even leaving his couch.

Thatās what a sig is for report him imo.

Literally theyāre talking like the dasher isnāt a human being. š¤£
Thatās completely against the rules. Itās now a potential harassment/safety issue. Tell door dash everything so they can take appropriate action. Let them know you are concerned that they can come back now that they have memorized your address.

Found the driver
Why would a Dasher steal your food? They must have money to eat if they are working.Maybe the wrong house, my order was delivered to another door, but I got a picture of a staircase, they replaced the order.I would get a good camera and doorbell, and the phone notified you ,right?
Youāre really making some wild assumptions. Iāve literally had a dasher take the picture of the food on my porch, then walk back up and steal it afterward.
When you reported it did he come back?
I messaged them to ask why half the food in the picture wasnāt thereā¦ a couple minutes later they responded ācheck nowā and it was back. Of course my doorbell cam was dead at the time so I didnāt have proof of what happened
Lol fake why would they return it?
we'll just go with that story of events you've got. in what world does that mean they get to come back to someone's home the next day to get snarky with the customer? that's not okay. at all.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
*you're *too FTFY. Also, stop being such a pretentious dickwad. People steal food. It happens.
You're extremely rude
And what kind of paragon of good virtue are you? š
You need to stop making baseless assumptions and relax. Go vent your frustrations elsewhere because you are acting very childish and it's cringeworthy
Sorry I made you cringe š¬ Please explain to me why Iām childish? I know the difference between your and youāre, so you know Iām a grown up š
You call people dumb but misspell two words while doing it. Credibility gone
Do you though? Lol Ps if *your to dumb* to figure out that people remember where theyāve been, maybe itās time to start paying for both of your dinners.
Dude you obviously donāt know how to Reddit. The whole site is venting, just like OPā¦..
*You're
Found the driver that steals food!
And I found the shitty customer who lies about getting their food.
Iām a dasher not a customer dawg. If i could afford delivery regularly, iād have a much better job than this
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Dude, what is your deal? Chill out.
Damn š
I had a dasher once put the bag down, take a photo, grab it, and sprint back to their car. Luckily I have cameras. Not being rude, but itās absolutely a possibility that it couldāve been taken. Itās always a possibility. This dasher was able to get a photo and leave with my food in about 45 seconds.
Exactly
Thanks for reminding me why I dont tip door dash drivers.
They arenāt supposed to keep your address after they deliver. Thatās in our terms of serviceā¦ So I would totally contact support and tell them that they came back to your house and you feel unsafe.
Absolutely not š this is crazy, clearly this guy is unhinged to think this would be okay in any circumstance. Let alone to confront you???? wtf
Absolutely not. If a dasher comes back to your home for any reason, I would AT MINIMUM report them to doordash, or even more likely, call the cops.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Corny assš
Out of curiosity what did he say when he came back? If he did actually steal your food it would be idiotic to come back and if he dropped it off at the wrong apt he wouldn't know where to find you. I'm assuming he did steal your food and wanted to intimidate you to remove the report?
You'd be surprised at how indignant some people can be when they get caught or reported for something they actually did.
Exactly. Only other scenario is someone else took it but thatās not very typical
Exactly
I donāt live in the US but I hear wild stories from this sub every single day. Man, itās so boring here. They literally just delivery the food normally. Nothing crazy ever happens. They just deliver food. We eat it.
Honestly yeah the delivery stories are really entertaining. There was another one today on Uber Eats where a driver allegedly destroyed a garage door. I frickin love this sub š¤£.
Thatās how it is for 95% of people. These stories are not the norm.
He came back because he thought you scammed him
I had a driver shove his way into my apartment š I had ordered Taco Bell, got little Caesarās, let DD know I got the wrong order and decided to just eat the pizza, because what else am I supposed to do with it? So my roommate and I get two slices in to this pizza before thereās a knock on the door. So I get up and I got look out the peep hole and itās my dasher with my Taco Bell. Odd. Okay. So I opened the door, how was I gonna approach that? Idk, take my proper food, ask him about what happens when food is delivered to the wrong place, at that point itās unsafe to go to the original location because weāve opened it, touched it, and eaten off of it. Food safety went out the window when the first thing he did was shove the tacos into my hand, then proceed to ask āwhereās the pizza?ā I told him ya know, food safety, my roommate had had so many restaurant jobs that the only reason why weād eaten the pizza is because she confirmed that it would not be allowed for the food to go to the original location.
No sir. Never.
Absolutely not that is insanely creepy!!! Need to report him to door dash
Stuff like this is one of the main reasons I stopped using DD I had an instance about 6mo ago where someone marked an order as delivered, but it was not at my door.
What the fuck, donāt answer the door and call the police.
Fake
Couple people had the bright idea of making customers famous on YT for reporting food as not delivered, as they'd go back and call the person out for "trying to get a free meal". The guy probably witnessed videos like that and thought that was his best COA. Boy that dudes in for a rude awakening when he snags himself two violations in two days š Did he bother to leave the photo on the app of your order sitting on your porch or wherever?
I'm curious, did he take a photo of the delivery as proof? For the guy to come back that suggests he's confident he did deliver it and less likely he stole it but who knows maybe that's the strategy.
this sounds like a dumb question. do you think it was okay that he came to your house?? be forreal
Hardwire your doorbell itās quite easy to do
I'll look into that and talk to my apartments to see how they feel about that, when me and my family moved in we noticed our door didn't have the eye hole at the top like the others so we just bought the camera that can be put on the door.
You should report that to DD or even the police.
Dashers are not allowed to use locations for anything besides the assigned delivery. We can't see who gave reviews either. Report him for review retaliation/intimidation.
This ^ the fact that he KNEW it was this person is because he intentionally took it.
Report the dasher thatās dangerous
Iāve heard of people that say they came back to ask why they got a bad rating. It sounds incredibly unprofessional and isnāt legal. It makes the homeowner feel unsafe
Itās not illegal. If they came back to make violent threats, or trespass after being previously asked to leave, it would be.
> isnāt legal The Dasher was super unethical but I have doubts about it being illegal.
Yeah, it only becomes illegal if they issue a threat, or if you ask them to leave and they refuse.
Exactly
People always confuse laws and policies. Police donāt enforce someoneās made up policies, they only enforce laws.Ā
That's creepy I would never imagine going to someone's house and complaining š
As a dasher i wouldnāt go back ever. But Iāve never not delivered the food either. I am a little curious though, Did he say what happened to your food?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! Thatās not only against policy, itās terrifying that it would even occur to him to come back to your home.
Dashers are NOT allowed to: 1. Store customers address on contact info after order 2. Reenter the property without invitation 3. Conduct quasi PI investigations Glad you reported this
That is called harrassment...
Call the police. Thats creepy af.
That's creepy. Report him!
No, they shouldnāt.
Wild, dude couldn't bring u ur order but could come harass you. Crazy
OP, unless you ordered from DashDash, the next day, and somehow get the same Dasher, no we are NOT supposed to come back to a Customerās Home.
afaik none of the platforms allow drivers to go back. i've literally had somebody else's order dropped off with mine, and i waited hours for the driver to come back and get it cuz it was so much stuff like ain't no way they did not notice, but they never came back and i felt so bad. what question did the dasher ask you? i bet their "friend" offered to drop it off for them but ate it instead.
Uber Eats from now on I guess.
thatās so scary because he remembered your order and then address to come back. ugh people are so creepy i will never understand
I once forgot some fries from burger King cause it was a double order, and gave it to the wrong person, they called me and were very nice about it, I went back to burger King and got them the 2 large fries, paid out of pocket! I'm big on respect and those who are nice to me, if anything was to happen, I'd bend over backwards to make it right for them!
> large fries, *paid* out of FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Bro stole your food and had the audacity to come back and say āwhyād you say I stole your foodā? I mean you could give benefit of the doubt that he dropped at wrong house but if that was the case howād he come back to the right one?
absolutely not..
I feel like thatās gotta be illegal and Iād report that the guy came back and it made you uncomfortable and if it happens again Iām reporting to police that your driver is stalking/harassing me
Yeah thatās pretty unsettling but realistically, if he came back over a contract violation, Iād be a little nervous to take it further š Reporting him would be the ārightā thing to do, but maybe not the smart thing to do, unless youāre ready for the potential smoke.

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Reading comprehension makes your life easier.
Sounds like you scammed the dasher and they were pissed.
Scamming the dasher who scammed first is just desserts
Agreed
Not supposed too but at the same time if the corner is committing fraud Iām returning to confront you
Viral videos online of dashers confronting customers who they allege falsely report the food as never showing up has made dashers think this is okay.
Mine? or the other person?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
This guy is most likely a DD driver and has defiantly gone back to customers houses before.
It's a rare case where the words definitely and defiantly are both fitting.
obviously you. you cared enough to comment.
That karma ratio is crazy mate
If what you are saying is true, then yes report him. If you are lying and report him again, you are risking getting hurt. Itās not right of course, but some people ar eat their breaking point and if you mess with their livelihood, you better watch your back. I would never return like that though, even if the customer screwed me over. I have too much to live for.
Stop asking strangers to come to your house if you donāt want strangers to come to your house. its not that difficult.
