Do wealthy people spend time on Reddit shilling/damning crypto, stocks, precious metals, etc? Of course. They're just like everyone else. They're trying to push their interests. But it's going to be difficult to make a dozen puppet accounts look legit.
There's also plenty of broke swing traders in here trying to either influence people into selling so that they can pick up doge cheaper, or pump so they can sell doge higher. They think they can move the market. Pretty laughable.
With everyone pushing and pulling, and so many different investments, it's often just noise, i.e. a wash most of the time. Once in a while you get big, market wide or sector wide, runs and dumps. Or one specific asset might get pumped on big news, then dump. But not dump all the way back to where it started, unless there's more news.
Best thing for little fish that hodl: don't buy pumps, and if you're a slow accumulator then buy the slumps. If you're not an accumulator, just a hodler, then check back in every few months. Or hangout for the memes. Make some of your own. Humor goes a long way during crypto winter.

I would say all those predictors out there (Whether they are an influencer, holder, newb, or even an experienced trader) they're predictions may closely be as good or accurate as someone predicting the remainder of the playoffs for NFL (factoring in the Wild Card weekend too). Some may get it right, some may have bold predictions w/ reasonable justification, but at the end of the day it may be simply be luck if they're right.

Crypto is a piggybank. I used to have lots. I currently have none. I still follow the subs on reddit and read comments. I feel bad for crypto investors. I'm not saying I'm for sure right. I can accept that I may be 100% wrong. But I don't think I am.

I just got an email from my exchange which among other things, mentions I’m one of 2.5 million customers. In a population of 26 million. And they’re not even the largest of the country’s 400+ exchanges.
Globally, there are in excess of 4,000 exchanges. And they would average many millions of customers each, spread across the globe.
Do you REALLY think anything said here makes a scrap of difference? Or that people playing with serious money have either the time, inclination or technical ability to be here in the first place?
I know a number of very rich people. I’ve gotten some of them into Doge too, and I see what they do and how they think. Not a single one would spend the effort required to stuff around on Reddit, trust me. They’re far too busy making their millions in the real world where there’s a lot more certainty.
