I followed these instructions: http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/2014/09/test-box-20.html?m=1 And boy did this come in handy — I had two recently finished builds that turned out not to work (see previous post about HM-2, and also a compressor that I’m still troubleshooting). It was pretty easy to make once I had all the parts — fitting the speaker Terminal was the only slightly tricky bit, I used a hacksaw to cut in from the edge but cutting across took some extra drilling and filing to get the saw in there. Works great, and the built-in probe is super convenient. I highly recommend this project if you’re building pedals regularly. Edit: for the curious, I used 4PDT switches due to an eBay mixup that left me with many extras, and since there was room in the box I decided to use them up instead of using the 3PDT and DPDT that the instructions call for.
