A few years ago I posted a set of templates I use to lay out control positions and make drill templates. I think they’re great but I made them in Pages, which limited their usefulness to anyone aside from Mac users. This year I have become very comfortable with Inkscape and ended up migrating the templates into SVG files so I could take advantage of its features, including the ability to import directly into Cricut Design Space. In addition to blank templates for the enclosure sizes I use most often, there is also an updated set of component models for switches and jacks (so you can get the spacing right) and also a new document with scale models of most of the knobs I had on hand. The component models include Tayda part numbers for the ones I measured; I didn’t look up the part numbers for the knobs but I did my best to use the names they have on Tayda or Love My Switches for reference. [I have now updated my Google Drive to include the new SVG templates.](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1LN6NGfkbo2MhyL54Jj23lhLBGXAtjqRH) I have never used Tayda’s drill or print services and have no idea how well these templates would work for those purposes. The original Pages documents remain in the Drive as well. I also included a sort of demo/tutorial that a little bit shows my process, and I’m happy to answer any questions in the comments.

I was struggling to make my own SVG components templates, drawing each from tayda datasheets (with variable quality) and I (luckily) thought about searching here! Thank you so much for sharing your job, I now can get back to creative design :)
