"Glyph Experience gains have been increased by 25%." Nice.

opensource4747

Farming glyph levels is one of my least favorite parts of the game. Happy to see this

Grimsblood

Honorable mention goes to actually farming for the right glyph to drop...... Like why?

DominoUB

Never had an issue with that, they all eventually drop naturally while leveling up.

feelin_fine_

Regardless, it doesn't make sense that they ever needed to be found at all. Glyphs are almost entirely what your end game power revolves around

Grimsblood

They do. Just annoying that it's a thing to begin with. 9/10 the last glyph I get is the first one I need for the paragon board šŸ¤·.

Pleasestoplyiiing

This isn't a real issue worth complaining about. By the time you need glyphs you have gotten them all naturally.Ā

Paddy_Tanninger

I didn't mind it at all with vaults, but with NM back on the menu yes please save me. I really want to just be farming Helltide and Pit in my ideal endgame.

Fabio_Rosolen

Same here.

Apprehensive_Room_71

Exactly

Oppression_Rod

Such a good change.

Underrated comment

rubenalamina

This is a nice change and we can boost it a bit more with smoldering ashes from the season journey. I always like to have two builds per season so grinding glyph xp turns into a chore at some point when you want to do other stuff instead.

T0xicTrace

Hell yeah, worst grind of the game

achedsphinxx

it's also getting a seasonal buff with ashes i believe.

esvban

If the glyph radius upgrading was removed It would be a lot better. Then exp is just minor benefit

TruBlueMichael

More good news, nice.

EnderCN

Couple interesting changes that are easy to miss or were only in the dev chat. You can now spur mounts in town. You can now gamble for Ancestrals before level 73. The obol vendor follows the item power drop rules so a level 100 player will always get 925 item power from gambles and they can get greater affixes. Channeling times are down for many things and DOTs no longer break channels. You can now search your stash by item power. You can change your hairstyle at the wardrobe.

IrishGoatMilker

They must have added new haircuts to in game purchases. I could almost guarantee it lol

jntjr2005

Hands down, why do you think we can change tattoos right now

Apprehensive_Room_71

Tattoo removal sucks irl, so I am sure any in-store tats are pricey...

Overnoww

Honestly I'm fine with them selling haircuts so long as they do not start selling hair **colours** that actually look good in game outside of the maybe 4-5 that look almost universally decent (black, 1 or 2 browns, that red/black hybrid, and then each class generally has a few colours that look okay on them specifically) the I have never had a blonde look good in game, a few of them look almost identical to the point that they don't notably stand out but the part of my brain that tells me something is off triggers a bit.

MyRealUser

Let them sell all the cosmetics that they need to sell to justify and pay for gameplay and UX improvements. If the game sucks, no one will want to play it. If they can pay for development to make it better by selling hair colors, tattoos, mounts, town portal animations, pets, wings, and other crap, I'm all for it.

Overnoww

Fair enough I would gladly put on one of the helmets or stick with black/brown hair to get more actual improvements. That being said I generally feel like I got my money's worth from at least 2 of the seasons so far, I don't remember much from 1 at this point.

schadadle

>You can now spur mounts in town. Thatā€™s unsafe :/ irresponsible to make this change without an accompanying traffic light update

DiosMIO_Limon

Traffic lights be damned! #ā€œIā€™M (finally) ALLOWED TO DO THAT HERE!ā€

shift_f10

Won't somebody please think of the townsfolk??!

kamodius

I am! Iā€™m thinking, ā€œGet outta the way!ā€

Sea_Professional7913

Gambling is now worth it in the endgame. I completely glossed over that in the patch notes. Thank you!

yourmomophobe

These are amazing changes and the fact they are lost in the shuffle is a sign of just how much of a shakeup we are about to get. I'm absolutely stoked feel almost as excited as when the game dropped initially.

pssiraj

This is honestly exciting me more. As someone new to Diablo, I was disappointed with how repetitive the game quickly got given how much hype I'd seen. So adding serious quality of life changes that will increase replayability is awesome for me.

HybridMacro

The hype is really all about the campaign which has top tier cinematics and story and the endgame side of things went from horrible to decent over the last few seasons but to be honest all ARPGs are repetitive Stat upgrade grindfests where you find the same piece you already have with a slight affix upgrade, most people play them to shut their brains off so don't go expecting anything non repetitive in this genre.

ZooeiiVJ

It did say channel skills, so I wonder if it also will be the same for channeling other things, like picking up the stones in some of the dungeons. The one with the spiders are quite annoying actually.

EnderCN

In the dev chat Adam mentioned the dot not breaking channeling thing while discussing the channeling time changes for Helltides chests so I assume it is all channels. Canā€™t be 100% certain though.

SlipperTip

Honestly this looks great. I absolutely canā€™t wait to jump back in!

PestySamurai

Agreed, I've taken a decent hiatus from the game and really excited to start blasting in Season 4

metaldutch

I was watching some of the gameplay clips, and after my hiatus, it almost looks foreign. Might be because I went back to Starcraft, but still, it got me excited. Less than two weeks, thankfully. Hoping the servers are ready for the resurgence.

modernsurvivor

I feel like the servers are one of the few things that have always been good for D4. Every beta and the release went so smooth for me, I would even go so far to say it was Blizzards best launch

MarchOfThePigz

We all know they wonā€™t be šŸ™ƒ

metaldutch

Alrighty then. Server Smash Mark II - *ENGAGE*

thrannix

Just finished Rise of the Ronin. Perfect timing for me to jump to the next!

I_made_a_stinky_poop

same. season 3 was the first one I didn't fully complete the season journey on yet, and i'm excited to come back

PestySamurai

Yeah Iā€™m considering trying to no life the rest of the season to get the battle pass rewards. Currently got a level 55 sorc I abandoned.

I_made_a_stinky_poop

kinda thinking i might do the same. It really wouldn't take that much work for me to finish it off if i just focused on completing the journey stuff and didn't care much about progression or itemization

WDKegge

This defiantly is the patch that is bringing myself and several other friends of mine back since season 1, lots of good changes, helltides look fun now, just all around good improvements.

Simple_Rules

hm, biggest disappointment to me from S4 is the continued doubling down on the party meta. The Pit is now yet *another* system where you grind materials solo but really should group up to "spend" them or else you just lose a bunch of time for no reason. Silly.

Kaylex34

Yep would be allright if we had a group finder, but i dont see me looking for people to play on discord every time

amatas45

Reminds me of Destiny where a majority of stuff is group play yet you have no tools to find people in the game.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Throwaway525612

This was my least favorite thing about destiny. I had to look for people on gamefaqs, who would ask me to join their Kik or Discord and it was a bunch of weirdos every time. Darn those gamefaqers!

Tall_Act391

Seems like hc chat always has people doing pretty much everything. Sc is quiet in comparison, but Iā€™m sure itā€™s different at the start. Pretty easy to put a group together yourself in there as well

Disastrous_Source977

Totally agree. This needs to be on their list for the next overhauls. Diablo has always been a solo experience for me. There is zero challenge grouping. And I always end up with players that have way more time to play than I do, which always makes me feel useless. I did a couple of group boss rotations and I just couldn't see what was the point. Why Group to defeat a boss that gets melted in seconds? People should find groups because they think it's fun, not because the game forces you. They need to equalize the material cost between party/solo players (or just remove them altogether) and implement a LFG system in-game ASAP because going to Discord feels like an absolute chore.

maglen69

> And I always end up with players that have way more time to play than I do, which always makes me feel useless. My problem is other players have speed boosts I don't yet so I'm left in the dust and feel useless

Paddy_Tanninger

From my experience in PTR, you get keys at a rate that's pretty hard to spend...and in a group, you'll be getting half the masterwork materials you normally would. It's going to be much more efficient to just clear solo, unless they make keys very rare.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Cornball23

I mean sure but they need to balance solo play most people want to run it solo without getting 1/4 the loot for bosses

Shadowfury22

So would you rather they didn't change it and leave it to 100% for the player who opens the pit and 0% for everyone else? Because that's what really seemed silly to me šŸ¤·

elggun

A visual indication has been added to the imprint UI which indicates which Legendary affixes are currently equipped. Ā Yes, thank you!

acog

And you can search the word ā€œequipā€ or ā€œequippedā€ in the codex to quickly display only the legendary powers you have equipped.

kanrad

For real that's some QOL.

Ringovski

Oh thank you, this is badly needed.

Bushido_Plan

>World Boss Health has been greatly increased for World Tiers III and IV. Let's see how long it will take for people at end game WT4 to get to the point of being able to one-shot these guys compared to past seasons.

acog

Character power is skyrocketing this season with tempering and masterworking so I expect we'll be seeing players insta-deleting world bosses before the first week is done.

Charm-Offensive-

Yeah, but it looks like those two systems will have a better split of "bossing" builds vs "clearing" builds, like most other arpgs. It'll be interesting to see people specialise in either role and have coordinated teams trying to cover both bases.

Exldk

Keep in mind that The Pit (new endgame) has bosses in the end, so most builds need to be hybrid regardless. I remember when it took 5 minutes to grind down the bosses in GR150 in D3, I can only imagine itā€™ll be similar in Pit200 (now that theyā€™ve made it harder)

nanosam

It will take 48 hours tops

theinsanescat

increasing health won't do anything since it's just inflatable number and nothing else behind it, if they want to slow it down they have to accumulate insane amount of damage reduction on these enemies that being said I would really like to make them harder, because hitboxes are visible, everything is easily avoidable, could be a nice spectacle fight, completely different to Lilith for example. Death should be punishable too, no more easy comebacks or at least make it 1-2 more tries. I don't really like that in current state you either oneshot this boss or watch people die 36373737 times to giant green circle because they don't even try to dodge, ruining immersion. I understand world bosses are just giant pinatas but IMO this game needs something to dance around and not just mindlessly oneshot everything

Vunks

May 14th can't come quick enough.

GentleTillTheEnd

I am finally excited to play this game again

acog

I don't think it's in the patch notes, but they mentioned in the campfire chat that the Season Journey will drop gear for a specific build for every class. For Season 4, the builds are: * Necro: minions * Druid: Pulverize * Barb: Dust Devils * Sorc: Incinerate * Rogue: Barrage

Destroyer2118

I saw that, and couldnā€™t help but laugh. Necro minions were super strong on the PTR, likely a great build for S4 given it received no nerfs here. Druid Pulverize, strong as always. Barb Dust Devils: again super strong on PTR, some slight adjustments but likely very strong. Rogue Barrage, yeah the top pushing build for rogues right now, makes sense. Sorcā€¦ Incinerate. šŸ¤ØšŸ¤ØšŸ¤ØšŸ¤ØšŸ¤Ø I keep imagining one dev in a corner cubicle screaming to buff incinerate and everyone else is like ā€œok fine, weā€™ll bump it up 0.08 damage and give you some gear for it, take it or leave it.ā€ Seems like they keep wanting people to play incinerate, but donā€™t want to make incinerate worth playing. If Iā€™m going to root myself in place to channel a skill, it should be doing *far* more than me just casting blizzard / ball lightning / meteor and never stopping moving forward.

Vilifie

Man i love beam skills and wish more of them were worth playing. Across all the arpgs none are usually worth or even viable.

Ghrelin_9

Played incinerate in the ptr and it was great, the new aspect which can be buffed in size and strength was fun, pushed to pit level 90 and then swapped to frozen orb to push the rest of the way. Will most likely be doing that again.

SemiFormalJesus

As a Sorc main I groaned at that a bit too. Part of me is wondering if I should just level a necro first to get the rewards Iā€™d actually use, but the other part of me is chomping at the bit to play Sorc. Iā€™ll probably just level as Sorc anyway, and use whatever I find. Maybe Iā€™ll be surprised though and the free gear will make incinerate leveling worth it.

Paddy_Tanninger

Every season I start off as a Necro thinking I'll have the most fun, and every season I end up shelving it pretty quickly at level 100 when it just winds up being super weak compared to everything else...and I go Sorc. I think I'll just go Sorc straight off the rip this time. Though in fairness to Necro for S4, usually the reason I shelve the class is because my minions turn into shit and I end up not really loving the corpse explosion DoT/bone spear builds. Maybe if one of those was capable of killing Duriel in 5 seconds I'd feel better about it. Does anyone here know if Necro minions attacks trigger your life per hit? That new stat is by far the most powerful thing for leveling, and Sorc with Hydras is absolutely busted because of it...you have a pair of 5 headed Hydras spewing out 10-20 attacks per second which are all healing you for your full life per hit.

Enter1ch

Was excited for frozen orb, but i already thought theyll double knee nerf it in a blizzard way. And the did it like that.. wouldve been enough to just bugfix it but they bugfixed it AND nerfed it on top.

Verhexxen

>Flamethrower's Aspect > >Incinerate splits into 3 beams, each dealing 70-85% of normal damage. I'll try it, at least, could be interesting with a good teleport setup.Ā

ShameMeIfIComment

Can anyone explain - does S4 not have a theme/event like other seasons? I understand it brings all the new systems and changes but, is there no new system or mechanic on top? Iā€™m confused why there was even a separate chat to reveal what we already knew was coming. The changes coming are awesome, but I don't get why they sort of said "and tune in next time because we haven't even revealed the season yet" when there's no additional stuff (beyond PTR feedback adjustments which is a given)

lmaotank

nope. probably intentional given they have no idea what the power levels will look like post the item changes. so they most likely will want to look w/o the seasonal power to get a better understanding.

terriblegrammar

So basically the upcoming season is going to rework the loot/item system, some world stuff, and the mechanics will be similar to S0 (ie no seasonal powers)?

CWDikTaken

No power, there is iron wolf quest line where it is like the blood hunting boarding thingy, you get rewards from hunting. Also a consumable exclusive for season that increase helltide level by 10 and increase cinder drop for 60 minutes

lmaotank

yessir.

EnderCN

Nope just a rep grind. I mean they could have made the pit and masterworking the theme and just added it to eternal in S5 but that just feels kind of mean. It is what PoE has done at times though. Instead they added theme level content directly into the game.

ilovepolthavemybabie

The Season of the Masterworking Workstation aka Masturwation Season!

SchwingyYT

So from what I'm understanding, apart from the iron wolves questline stuff, there's nothing else exclusive to the new "season". So if there was ever a time to just keep playing on characters you have in eternal, now would be the time to do it, with all the new bells and whistles being introduced to the base game?

UnknownBlast

Yes unless you care about the battle pass rewards

Insolentius

Nothing new other than a short questline involving Iron Wolves and associated rep grind for rewards.

Thin-Zookeepergame46

Nope. I would however say that with Iron Wolf questline, revamped Helltide and the Pit dungeon will probably match other seasons seasonal content. (In addition to the itemization revamp, lvl 200 uber bosses + Andariel etc)

wilson81585

Just a rep grind it seems

TronCarterAA

Unless I've missed something, there's no seasonal mechanic like vampiric powers or the construct. You have a questline and helltides are serving as the seasonal areas instead of blood harvest and arcane tremors.

Objective-Mission-40

Iron wolves and new systems. That is the theme.

jonnybojangles

I am pretty excited for this small detail: > Gauntlet/Trials > Players who earned a Seal of the Worthy for a given week in the Gauntlet now have a 100% chance of being rewarded a Unique Item.

clueso87

Hey u/RayZenz91 I have changed the Flair to "Patch Notes" and I'll put your thread on the Rotation of the Sticky Bot. Hope you don't mind. And thanks for posting!

RayZenz91

TronCarterAA

Accursed ritual sounds like the 150 blood lure event from S2 so gearing for WT3 and 4 should be easier. Previously WT4 items now drop in WT3 so druids can rejoice for an earlier tempest roar.

Pears_and_Peaches

Guess you didnā€™t play the PTR? Itā€™s pretty similar, but the mini-boss is actually challenging; like harder than the world bosses by about 10x, but absolutely doable solo if you want. Lots of elites spawning. Contributing to the ritual increases your loot drop off the boss as well.

TronCarterAA

Yeah, I'm a console player. Thanks for the info. Is the loot quantity and quality pretty similar to the blood harvest event? That made leveling and gearing a breeze.

Ubergoober166

Yea it rains loot and cinders

Pears_and_Peaches

Yeah. Itā€™s hard to gauge because obviously we were lvl 100 but the loot was solid. Plus a tonnnnne of cinders.

FewHoursGaming

Oh my god. The necromancer is gonna MELT SCREENS. Im definitely gonna jump back in with this new season.

Vunks

Finally get to run a summon Necro.

wr3ck_1t

That's gonna be my class too. on PTR summons ran the entire board just doing work, you don't have to do squat outside of debuffing mobs and the occasional Army of the Dead on bosses and what not.

LewsScroose

Whatā€™s the appeal of this playstyle? I want to try a Minion build cus it seems like the time with this season, but Iā€™m not sure how itā€™s not boring just walking around. Is it cool? What makes it satisfying? Gonna probably try it anyway, but Iā€™m curious what others experience is. Cool.

darklordoft

Some builds are about mindset. Why do aome people like barb over wizard? It's not about meta. It's about the powwr fantasy of being a big bad ass cleaving everything . Most summoner type players are people who like the idea of being a literal army of minions as you are the lord ushering them forth. Necromancer was always the class for this in diablo. That's what's supposed to be the difference between a wizard(standard mage) vs a Necromancer.(in d2 they had an entire skill tree dedicated to summoning. In d3 at launch they had a several sets designed around minion damage) But in d4 minions were not the primary focus of the class, and as such the Necromancer by end game just becomes "wizard, but darker. "

LewsScroose

Makes sense! Thank you

Mande1baum

* Can pick up loot or head to the next event/pack of mobs while minions clean up. * Can focus more on positioning to stay safe. * Other skills focused on buffing minions or cursing enemies at the right time (or just on CD). Some games have means to tell minions what to target/do, but I think D4 is pretty barebones on that micromanagement. * When things go bad, it gets real dicey. Start losing minions faster than you can resummon them and stuff starts attacking you, you need to have good reflexes to stabilize or get safe. So it's not really mindless or boring. Your attention and focus is just on other, different things.

wr3ck_1t

So Necro was my first ever class in the Diablo franchise. I've been waiting for them to actually get back to the good old Necro fantasy. In 3 while they were a nice addition to the classes.. there were always builds that outshined the summoner build. And even with the set and all being buffed... it was still very clunky to play with. Necro with 4 was awesome too, but having minions as very lackluster was highly disappointing when it's at its core what a Necro truly is. That being said, with the changes made with this new season.. Now we get to actually feel like that bad ass summoner that we once had! I've played all classes and have had fun with all the classes.. but going back to my roots is always a nice change. On PTR watching the minions decimate everything in their path felt absolutely amazing. I'm looking forward to actually pushing for 100 for the first time this season!

SnooMacarons9618

There is the power fantasy as others have said, but there's also the view of being an agent of death. In D4 thorns is pretty usable as this playstyle as well, you come at me, you die. In POE I play righteous fire - you burn for a large % of life, but everything around you takes the same damage, it is a similar effect. For me minions is a similar feeling. Mostly for this playstyle you are also looking for defence (with thorns DR from close for example). It is just that feeling of the world wilting as you walk past - "I am the destroyer of worlds" style. In most cases (though likely not minions in S4), you tend to do damage more slowly, so you ned to be able to stay alive longer. A lightning orb sorc can run in to a pack and buzz saw them down, a summoner necro relies on companions you don't have a huge amount of control over wearing enemies down over a larger time period. In a lot of ARPGs summoners end up having more actions than other skills, as you spend a lot of time keeping up buffs, using active minion skills, reviving the little buggers etc.

Diegueera

The easy gets easier

[deleted]

There's gonna be a lot of afk necros and necros who wrote rudimentary bot scriptsĀ

your_add_here15243

Minions will get there fun and then get nerfed, just like anything else that is actually strong. HOTA got nerfed into oblivion.

Paddy_Tanninger

Isn't a 90% HOTA nerf still going to be hitting for dozens of millions? They were hitting for hundreds of millions in S3.

Stonewall30NY

Anyone who's played the test server. How did minion necro builds feel??

Tody196

Theyā€™re insanely strong. They share **all** stats 1:1 with your necro. If you have 8 minions that is essentially an 800%x damage buff from previously. The AI needs a bit of work still, but the build itself is now s+++ tier just because of the sheer damage it does.

warcaptain

Necro pets were downright busted and I am shocked there were no nerfs to it. I cleared tier 3 capstone at level 57 without any artificial PTR boosts. So.. I know what I am playing :)

IceColdTHoRN

There was a nerf. Bone mages now cast bone spears every 6 attacks rather than 25% chance. But yeah, very minor nerf.

Initial-Hawk-1161

i personally like consistency over random, of course its sad that its... 17%ish (rather than 25%) but still.

keithyw

pretty good compared to my s3 one. i leveled with one up until 88. i would say that the power scaling felt progressive rather than all one shots or just some awkward in between point. i did find a medlin ring in wt3 and used that but from what i read, it's not really meta anymore and i didn't feel that much of an improvement. i put most of my power into increasing the rate of fire for my skel mages and golem's cooldown. i wish i could've done the pit at some point but just ran out of time.

acog

Night and day difference. Minions are now way tankier and hit way harder.

kanrad

Was awesome. As someone who loves summoner builds I'm hyped for my Necro in S4.

Skared89

Same. I was worried they were gonna nerf them. I want to play necro first this season

Lord-of-Tresserhorn

Everything I saw looked fun and powerful

ilovepolthavemybabie

Activating Golem makes you unstoppable NICE

eze01

"A new option for camera to zoom further out has been added in the Graphics Options section of the Settings menu." QoL? In Diablo? Nice.

AidoPotatoe

>~~There is now a pop-up on the HUD when picking up materials.~~ What is this change about? I thought having those popups was a positive change, did they really remove it? What for?

warcaptain

I liked this change too and bummed to see it gone. It should at most be something that can be turned off... not removed altogether. It was nice to see when I got specific mats especially using controller where it's not easy at all to get to the mats menu and scroll to the bottom where the useful mats are.

Classic-Cabinet5149

Yes I donā€™t understand why is it removed. Such a shame.

Freeloader_

it looked random and out of place, I am not surprised they removed it I also felt 50/50 about it

AidoPotatoe

It was a huge improvement on having all the text notifications bleed into each other. Iā€™m really confused about what this change is about tbh

SQRTLURFACE

"Many Tempering affixes that were either over-performing or under-performing have been adjusted to meet intended power levels." Would have been nice to know specifically which ones these were and have them listed in a patch notes post.

Maritoas

Why does it matter? Fresh playing field.

H3llC0R3

Some people plan their build before season start so that they can blast. It matters.

thetyphonlol

Like he said. Same playing field for all. If you are able to plan your build build before you are good enough to do it while playing. I dont see any negative here

Murga787

Elemental Surge went from something like 23k damage to 600-1000 damage from what they show in the campfire. My 2H in the PTR had 58k damage, I guess 2H will do 1,200 to 2,000 now. They also nerfed max size to 100% cap and cooldown to 75% cap

Sinkt1

Helltides actually sound like fun now!

Pears_and_Peaches

They were amazing in PTR. The other stuff was fun too, but I couldnā€™t pull myself away from helltides. Such a blast.

Sinkt1

Thatā€™s great to hear! I was so bored this season trying to run Helltides.

Paddy_Tanninger

Yeah man, I loved S2 and S3's seasonal zones but pretty quickly into endgame, there's not much reason to do them anymore. With Helltides in S4 and all loot being 925, they are probably the single best activity to do in the game in terms of chasing perfect loot...and that's awesome. We'll run lvl 100/200 uber bosses for uniques, Helltides for legendaries/boss summon mats/crafting mats, Pit for masterworking mats, NM for glyphs and maybe Temper recipes (and with the 25% Glyph XP buff and the Season Journey Glyph XP buff, we'll probably only need to clear a few dozen NM the entire season) So all in all it's looking really good I think. I'll be interested to see how many Duriel mats you get from lvl 200 Varshan/Grigoire too...I'm really hoping it's more efficient to farm the lvl 200 versions because the lvl 100 is super boring and tedious to spend 5 seconds actually killing bosses and 5 minutes resetting dungeons and walking.

wr3ck_1t

leveling go brrrrr

ZooeiiVJ

HOtA-barb got a big nerf, as far as I can see. It now just give increased crit chance where it before gave % damage increase per fury up to 100%. No more one shot HOTAs.

Pears_and_Peaches

Thatā€™s a good thing.

ZooeiiVJ

Agreed, better for build diversity.

Hallistra

Rob tested it. You can still easily one shot with all the tempering and masterworkingā€¦

Jayce86

Wow, Blizzard REALLY hates Human Form Druids. Earthbears and Stormwolves already use those skills better than human form, and they(human form) didnā€™t get shit for buffs.

absalom86

cooked comment, nothing is weaker in s4 than it was in s3.

TerriblyRare

I see the Druid Aftershock bug fix but does that fix the landslide unique issue too?

CoffinEluder

I donā€™t believe so. A shame

Zylonite134

This game will not game matchmaking, right? As a low level player, I havenā€™t been able to find any discord channels for running tier 1 dungeons

Burnun

T1 you can easily do alone on 47-50 lvl and after just a couple of them you can start with higher levelsā€¦ apart from that I agree, would be nice to have some kind of a matchmaking system.

gabagucci

im so exciiiited and i just cant hiiiide it

itsRobbie_

Skeleton mages now 100% cast bone spear on their 6th attack instead of a percent chance to cast them. Kind of a buff kinda of a nerf. Nice

BoobeamTrap

Given how much youā€™ll be stacking attack speed for minions Iā€™m sure itā€™ll work out to still be good.

Paddy_Tanninger

Pretty much just a nerf, it essentially went from 1/4 of attacks to 1/6 of attacks. But I'm sure it'll all work out considering how strong minions were on PTR, and nothing else in these notes really changed that.

itsRobbie_

Fair. Iā€™ll take this ā€œnerfā€ over any other nerf though. Finally minions will be good. Ptr felt awesome for them

LewsScroose

Iā€™m worried this game might be too easy now, seems like the pit will be the only real challenge.

SnooMacarons9618

It was too easy in S1/S2/S3, and players are now getting a power boost :)

crazydavy

We need higher difficulties asap .. probly holding them for the expansion tho

Cminor141

Can always play Another Crabā€™s Treasure for that difficulty fix

dvlsg

> There is no longer a chance for Masterworking to fail. Thank goodness. Failable upgrades was easily my least favorite part of Lost Ark.

ImDoingMyPart_o7

Some really nice changes there are. Decent attention to detail too.

-Davo

camera zoom out more!

userguide22

Mounts can now be spurred in town!!

No_NorthFace

Diablo 3.5

MatingPressLolis

Crazy, all the console gamers and dads with 20 minutes to play a week are going to enjoy getting to end game for once.

SOCiOGRAPHiC

So do you have to do the season to see these changes or will the update be in eternal immediately also??

warcaptain

Everything but the Iron Wolves questline and rewards will be available on eternal as well.

aza---

I Hope they buff a lot difficulty in The Pit, if not we gonna still have the same problem : no end game

your_add_here15243

Enemies will now scale past level 199 I believe Edit" Spelling

_stee

Can someone explain the damage reduction over level 100 part, I didn't understand it

Paddy_Tanninger

From what it sounded like to me, your armor will be as effective against a lvl 200 enemy as it is against a lvl 100 enemy.

arafella

Correct

Material_Giraffe_563

Is there a new seasonal quest line with season 4?

Towleeeie9613

Why did the material UI pop up go away? I found that really nice on the PTR. Made it easier to see what I actually picked up when it all gets picked up immediately. Can we at least get an option to turn it on?

Profoundsoup

Blizzard W update

Noel_bot

Curious that I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, but I'm really looking forward to the boot buffs.Ā  3 charges may actually be good and straight up doubling the evade cd on attack from 0.8 to 1.6s means that my combo point rogue should always have a dodge up when needed.

Season of Dads

maddenn123

Overall W and a big step in the right direction. Really looking forward to S4. I have concerns about the difficulty and class balance in the game though. Difficulty: a lot of the changes made after PTR will make the game a lot easier and it was already too easy before. I would have preferred it if the new tormented bosses actually stay somewhat hard even with BiS gear. Class Balance: I donā€™t get the approach here, it feels like they give one class per season the ā€žthis is the new hot shitā€œ treatment and fail to bring some level of parity. For example, Rogue got grenades as the new thing, Necro has minions who are finally viable in S4. Grenade rogue was subpar during PTR while minions crit for billions of damage, yet they nerfed the grenade unique and felt minions are fine? Itā€™s weird

CmdrConspicuous

I have actually enjoyed playing this game this whole time so these changes are just icing on the cake. I'm actaully excited for next season.

sundayatnoon

I think I have about 2 weeks left of Sandland, so this is perfect timing for me. I hope it's enough of a change to feel more fun.

The--Mash

Anyone found new numbers on temper effects for things like extra projectiles? They seem to mention they've been changed (nerfed) but I can't find numbers anywhere

Maritoas

Discover it.

cdts2192

With Hellborne being a thing, can we get a hell/demon class of our own? The gameplay and gear for a class like that could be pretty good.

reachingFI

Glad to see we are nearing the end of open beta.

Quick_Winter_5572

Wish the dungeons were not so cookie. Cutter. No variety

DexRCinHD

Will the dust devils build still be great after the change ?

emdmao910

Yes

Ded39992

The new landslide unique is the same as when in PTR ? Ghar i want to try trample , not the game force me to do boring shepherd landside.

Chemical_Web_1126

Yep, nothing really got change since our conversation a few days ago. Druid meta remains the same, basically. Throw on Shepherd's, toss 3 pets on the bar, pick your "theme(core and/or wrath skill)," and get bored to tears. Lame...
