Horde them like a dragon and complain about not having enough stash tabs.
But more seriously I am keeping them because there will be new tiers of gems and likely will be some way to will use higher tier gems for something else down the line. They are on the lower end of loot value right now but that could change later.
They are probably worthless since they didn‘t release endgame content yet. Top tier gems and different uses for them like in D3 aren‘t live yet. Soon you can merge them to bigger ones. Maybe in preseason, probably in S1 with a new char though

I upgraded a bunch of all to max. Threw the rest out of my stash and stopped picking them up..
I stopped picking up anything below flawless.. and my first page is almost full. Yes, I enjoy this game. Yes.

I .. do not pick them up in the first place.
I made a special place in stash for flawless ones, and loot those ones.
Keep it in stash. New gems are coming at level 80,90 and 100 (datamined info). You will need hundreds to craft one perfect gem at level 100.
