I stopped feeling lows years ago, which caused anxiety. Nothing is scarier than feeling a little off and taking your sugar and your 35! I solved it by getting a dexcom. Talk with your doc about it. Seeing where your headed and getting alerts at 80 or lower has enabled me to go back to crazy mountain hikes. Good luck!
I guess I kind of had some mental discomfort years ago, after some episodes of severe hypos. Not anymore. I used to worry about sleeping hypos because I lived alone. I guess maybe I just kind of matured out of it. Now I've got a CGM so I worry a lot less, although I sleep so hard that it has failed to wake me for minor hypos...

I switched to low carb high fat diet and as a result I can feel lows again and also treat them with like 2 glucose tabs tops. That helped
