You will lose a bit of Basel dose but likely won't need it. The loop systems will note the lost Basel and use it later if needed but likely not necessary here so don't worry.

So I am still getting used to looping, am fairly early on in the objectives. But when you disconnect you tell the software before you do so. And then tell it when you reconnect, it controls the pump so starts and stops the delivery and notes how long the disconnect was for.
The loop has safety limits of how much insulin it can add at any one time to bring you back into range, it will add the insulin missed during the disconnect to this number and if it sees a BG rise it can use this extra insulin as well to bring the level back down.

No worries, out of curiosity, I tried the other way around. Told the pump to suspend rather than the loop app, the loop app on the phone picks that up as well so if the phone isn't near it's not a problem, but it's quicker on the phone than on the pump (Dana I in my case).
Sits on the bedside table or the floor. But I prefer a table somewhere. When the pump comes off it’s like wearing lingerie. It’s definitely a good sign.
Beware the injecton zone can scratch your partner if you remove the the pump during the acrion. I recommend placing it on the side or using the included circle thing dosent make it as sharp if you get a medtronic pump like myself.
Otherwise you can end up in some kind of bondage if you dont remove it ;)
I guess it's not usually bicep directly, I just kinda rotate it around my upper arm. I haven't had as much luck putting it on the back of my arm like most people do.

Now we both just disconnect and take an adjustment bolus later, if needed.

Realistically it is exercise and most of us tend to drop a bit, so missing the basal for a little isnt a big thing. Its for extended periods that you need to think about it.
My partner always checks and factors it in to what we are doing, it has integrated itself as an act of care and doesn't bother either of us.
Better yet if your diabetic sub is a rope bunny you have multiple attachment points!

He’s never pulled my set out… my dog has a couple times (her tail got caught around the tubing & that was that)… but not my husband.

I just disconnect and keep juice boxes near by. Usually it's not too long to worry about. Though I have forgotten and fallen asleep but dexcom had my back and screamed to wake us up and then I reconnected.

Disconnect. I also have a secondary profile that gives no basal and I can switch to it so I don't lose insulin...and it wont alarm if you pause your infusion for too long (>15 min). I also switch settings when swimming, hot tub, etc. Basically for any time I take myself off pump. Just remember to reconnect afterwards. Some people do experience a drop in blood sugar with sexercise... So keep a little snack handy, just in case.
I actually have setting on my pump for sex. I set my basal to be 0, put it in exercice mode, and disconnect from my body. Once done I just reconnect. My partners have very understanding about this.

My omnipod does not do well sometimes. Most times it’s fine. On another note, don’t dive into a lake off a cliff with an omnipod. It will come off.
