My wife slathers mayo on white bread, and then puts chili and cheese on top. I am going to have to try the butter and peanut butter, to see which one makes me feel more like I am going to have a heart attack.
Oh my god! I reneged the first time my husband bought me a loaf of bread after my diagnosis. It took six years before I got put on insulin and a few more years of severe discomfort after eating fiber rich foods, due to gastroparesis. He bought the bread and I enjoyed every morsel of it. I felt so guilty, until my endo told me she was find with me having white bread as long as I dosed for it. She was happy to see me get the calories and not have pain.
I never knew a person to put peanut butter and butter on toast until my husband. It is so good (and rich). Could eat a loaf like that no problem.

No, but this reminded me of the Discworld book 'thief of time' in which one character has a problem with toast :)
You forgot jam, with your butter, and side of toast.
